I believe I got their name originally from the front desk at Ashland's historic Ashland Springs Hotel, but it has been a few years now so that's a guess. I prefer a pre-booked car service to ride shares because I have some physical limitations due to autoimmune disease, and I find the casual drivers of Lyft or Uber cars often don't really know (or refuse to follow) the sometimes confusing rules about dropping off and picking up riders with accessibility needs. I visit southern Oregon for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival 2-3 times per year, and I also fly into MFR when I have business in California's Del Norte county, so I'm a regular visitor to the region. Melynda has been my most frequent driver from EMC. I think the other driver I had once was Eric. EMC has always shown up as scheduled with a clean, comfortable car and a professionally dressed driver. Both are more formal than I need, but I appreciate the focus on professionalism. Communication via email, phone, and text message is always clear and easy. One time, when I traveled with a friend who has extreme allergies, I felt like great care was taken to understand what might be a risk to my friend and make sure she would be safe in the vehicle. I live in a much larger metro area so the price for EMC's service feels like an absolute bargain compared to what I pay to get to my nearest airport. You will pay more than you would for Uber/Lyft, but you will receive a predictable, premium experience for that extra cost.

At first, I was just doing it to be entered into the raffle, and I wasn't sure if we could afford working with a travel agent. As it turns out, though, we didn't have to pay her a cent! Once I met with her at a coffee shop in Ashland, I learned that using a travel agent for our honeymoon was the way to go! She was so knowledgeable, and she knew first hand where the best resorts were. She started by getting to know me so that she could get an idea of what me and my fiance were looking for. Budget was one of the biggest factors for us, but we also wanted to have a lavish, fun, and beautiful honeymoon, so she suggested an all inclusive resort in Playa del Carmen Mexico. She even recommended a specific resort for us because we were interested in doing some activities while we were there, and this particular place was ALL inclusive and an amazing location, near lots of cool things to do. She patiently answered all my questions via email (and there were A LOT!) and she is really prompt with communication. She was never pressuring or pushy, either. She just honestly answered my questions and gave her knowledgable opinions. When we finally booked the vacation, we just had to pay for the flights and a small deposit to secure the hotel. We then used honeyfund.com to collect monetary gifts from relatives and friends, and we gradually paid off our balance. She even had our flight information personally delivered to our house a few days before we left, and she continued to answer our questions that came up while we were on the honeymoon! I just have nothing but good things to say about Sheree. So if you meet her at the Bridal Expo, don't just keep walking! Stop and talk to her and listen to what she has to say. Plus, she's fun to chat with! :-)
