Very well maintained RV Park. Lots of campers who return annually. Beautiful lake. The owner and employees are very kind and helpful.

This place is a nice little gem. Clean and well maintained. You are right on the lake with great views and easy access for your boat or kayaks. Stayed here for first time and enjoyed it very much. The owner Julie is very friendly and helpful. Full hookups, wifi, view of lake and close to beautiful high desert country. Yosemite is only 2 hours away. Nice for a day trip, which we did. Campground is right on lake, lots of trees for shade and nice facilities. Friendly people and just laid back. Kind of like a close knit neighborhood. I really enjoyed it! They are updating the RV spots. One problem we had we needed an adapter for electrical hookup. Convenience store and gas station makes it nice. We don't gamble but casino there also restaurant. Prime rib specials are great!! We stop when passing through. read more

I have traveled all over North America, and for me, the best place on the Continent for trout is Topaz Lake. Julie and David really make it convenient for fishing in the Spring. With the dock and the fish cleaning station it is very easy to get in your boat and clean your fish. This year the trout fishing is out of this world. I have been here since the first of May, and very few days that the boats didn't go out and return with a limit of trout. The largest trout was 6.6 pounds and all my trout have been about 15 to 22 inches. The trout come straight out of the water when they feel the hook, make runs, somersaults, and dance on the water until they are netted or the hook pulls out. I have never lost so many fish, even up to the boat, but with all the action, the hook pulls out. I recommend getting to this RV Park and get catching ... read more

Have been coming here for over 40 years and 3 generations of owners. My children and grandchildren vacationed here and learned to swim, water ski, tube,river and lake fish and explore the many Ca. and Nevada historical sites . The park has magnificent views of the lake with easy access to the marina for our labradoodle and me. Full hookups with cable tv with the nicest charming owner, Julie, who makes you feel so special. She is constantly driving her golf cart around the property checking on her guests to make sure everyone is happy. Chuck also is a handy friendly man that guides you into your space and helps with moving boats, trailers, and any other tricky manovers. We will be back!! read more

One of my most favorite places in the world. We first came here 50 years ago, the year it was freezing and actually snowed the day we left (in August). Actually, we were staying up at the Pine Nut Lodge (now long gone) and family friends who convinced us to come up here were long time Topaz visitors. Even after that odd cold year, we started a tradition for our annual 2 weeks vacations at Topaz Lake RV Park. This place is full of wonderful memories. The best glass water for skiing, riding 10 speeds, riding motorcycles, horseback riding nearby. Hanging out with all the kids, playing in the water, skiing, tubing, playing cards, listening to music. Brought my husband here for his first real camping (because we slept outside on cots). My first born celebrated his first two birthdays here. There were a few years missing our beautiful lake. Two more boys later, the return of our family vacation! My Dad, Step Mom, brother and niece join us. Rummy Tiles are always ready. Julie, Dave and Chuck work their hearts out to keep everything going. Getting RV's in and out of spaces, launching boats and parking trailers and so much more. Because of them we get to relax, play on our water toys (Waverunners), float, swim and just plain have a good time. Things that haven't changed: families and friends gather together. Kids are welcome, dogs are welcome, people are nice, it's just chill. Oh, and please don't ever change that sign, I'm pretty sure it's a historical monument. Our family of 5 (young kids 7-12) decided on topaz RV park to spend part of our vacation this summer. We were looking forward to boating, fishing, biking, hiking, and all the fun things families do while RVing. Well this place was a nightmare. Right off the bat, we were told NO bike riding, even while other kids were playing soccer in the road kicking up dust.. No BBQ pits on site, NO Pits for any camp fires- s'mores OUT. We were told we could use our portable BBQer, the lady next to us (spaces too close together) complained about the smoke all the while she's chain smoking. FUN. The website to this place claims they have wifi, well good luck getting on unless your sitting on a bench by the office. Leave your sling box at home. Some reasons NOT to stay here (not the parks fault); the water is freezing, seriously high winds, prone to fires, and the people who frequent this place, don't like kids - only dogs.... Everyone has their dogs. So if you enjoy falling asleep and waking up to dogs barking , then this place is for you. read more

We stayed at Topaz Lake RV Park in July. The facilities are well maintained and it sits right next to the lake. There are full hook ups for RVs with a small store for ice and ice cream for the kids. A very family friendly camp with lots of young kids. There is a dock on the lake for boats. The only downside is there is not a gas dock on the lake and you must fill your boat with gas cans from a local gas station. This is a very popular RV park so get your reservation in early. read more

This is our favorite RV park and lake to fish. The owner, Julie Hurley is the most accommodating person that you will ever run into. The rates are extremely reasonable and on an honor basis. The RV park is clean and quiet, at least when we choose to stay there which is in April or May. There is a pet area, laundry and shower facilities,cable TV, fantastic internet, a store, large RV spots with nice landscaping and of course Chuck, who does everything from launching your boat to keeping the grounds clean. The fish are large, I caught a four pound trout. They are a cross between cut throat and rainbow and tastier than kokonie. A guest told us that he caught an 8.5 pound trout at this lake. I enjoy watching the pelicans who hang out around the fish cleaning station or follow you up to it when you park your boat. There are no fire in this area at any park. It is simply to dangerous. But, you can still BBQ outside and enjoy the huge cotton woods. I cannot speak more highly of this RV park. For our needs and tastes, it is perfect which includes the staff. read more

We have been to Topaz Lake RV Park many times. This is NOT the place next to the casino...this is the private campground next to the CA Bug Station. This is an amazing RV park and very beautiful. The owners are amazing and the staff is also wonderful. There aren't any bad places to park your trailer or RV! They have nice docks, a clean bathroom with showers, washer/dryer and a little store with ice cream, the stuff you always forget or run out of (paper towels and such) and RV supplies. They are very serious about safety! Crawl is the speed for anyone in the park- which keeps everyone safe! Everyone is so very friendly! They have a really nice fish cleaning station right next to the stairs down to the docks fed by a natural spring. No campfires are allowed. There is a very large beach area for awnings and lots of parking for boats. We always bring our kayaks for fishing and hanging out on the lake. They love our Yorkie, Bridget and the park is very dog-friendly- as long as the dogs are leashed and you pick up after the dogs! The prices are very reasonable for daily or monthly. We can't wait for our next trip. read more
