He stepped in immediately, remained calm and respectful, and resolved the issue decisively and professionally. His leadership, empathy, and understanding of accessibility needs were exemplary and deserve recognition. Our waitress Emerita went above and beyond in every possible way. Her patience, kindness, and attentiveness ensured our child felt comfortable, respected, and genuinely cared for throughout the entire visit. She turned what could have been a stressful situation into a positive and enjoyable experience. We would also like to recognize another waitress whose name we unfortunately did not catch. She showed the same level of compassion and professionalism, stepping in to help without hesitation. Her support did not go unnoticed and is deeply appreciated. The accommodations provided for our special-needs child were thoughtful, appropriate, and handled with dignity. As a parent, moments like this carry tremendous weight. As Burlingame residents, we were incredibly excited to visit the new Topgolf location. Unfortunately, our experience was far from the excitement we'd hoped for. We joined the waitlist and waited patiently for two hours. The front desk staff were very friendly and guided us through the check-in process, ensuring we completed everything via text. Just as we were finishing up at the front desk, we received a notification that our bay was ready. Perfect timing, or so we thought. When we arrived at our bay, the system said we had 47 minutes to play. Confused, I immediately asked our server why the time was so limited. He reassured us that it would be worked out. However, 39 minutes later, the floor manager approached us to say we had only 8 minutes left and needed to leave. I explained that I had raised this issue with the server at the start, but nothing had been resolved. The floor manager then repeatedly asked me if I had told the front desk how long we wanted to play. I explained multiple times that the front desk had never asked. His tone felt accusatory and unhelpful, and he offered no solutions. I even asked if we could move to another bay, but he said no because they were already 3-4 hours behind schedule. He ultimately blamed the front desk for not communicating with the bay staff, which didn't solve our problem. To make matters worse, we hadn't even received the food we ordered 30 minutes prior. I had to request another manager and re-explain the situation, which was frustrating. When our time expired, someone else extended it, but neither of the managers came back to apologize or explain the situation further. This was a disappointing experience. While the front desk staff were friendly, the floor manager's lack of solutions, poor communication, and dismissive attitude soured the evening. We've been to the San Jose location multiple times and have never been treated this way. To make matters worse, when we complained to the manager, instead of taking our concerns seriously, he casually pointed out that bringing liquids isn't against the rules--yet. His tone gave the impression that he was excusing her behavior or preparing to justify similar treatment of others in the future. For a business that charges premium prices for its services, this level of customer service is completely unacceptable. I don't consider myself someone who complains easily, but the way we were treated simply cannot be ignored. If you're someone who plans to enjoy just the golf services without spending extra on food or drinks, be prepared to potentially face the same dismissive and unprofessional treatment we did. I had a horrible experience at Topgolf. We ordered food, and not only did they mess up our order FOUR times, but when it finally came out, the chicken wings were the wrong flavor! We had specifically asked for a certain flavor, and they just couldn't get it right. The staff seemed disorganized, and it took way too long to get our food.
