One of the things that happened when I visited this bar was I asked for a simple lemonade. The reason was because I had a soccer game the next day and I didn't want to drink alcohol and I wanted to get some electrolytes in me. It would have been very simple for the bartender to just say, "I'm sorry we don't serve lemonade." Instead what he did is say I worked here 20 years and he never served lemonade and then kept scoffing at me. He kept saying this three times, walking back and forth, up until the point the patron next to me even said, "Don't worry about him." After that without even me talking to him, he said, "Who orders lemonade at an Irish pub?" Then without me saying anything, he said, "No one orders lemonade at an Irish pub." I was honestly just trying to get a drink and he made me feel very dumb. Overall if a patron asks you for a drink, it's very easy just to say, "I'm sorry we can't do that," but he kept making me feel like an idiot. I was also surprised they did not serve lemonade; that's a very simple request. He didn't offer any alternatives except for 7-Up, which I didn't really want but paid for anyway. I ended up not drinking it even after I paid for it and leaving the bar. I guess the bartender got what he wanted. He gave me a drink that was other than lemonade; he made me pay for it and I just left the bar unhappy. I would highly recommend against visiting this establishment, especially with the grumpy bartender. He is an older white Irish guy. I understand they might have your own customers at the bar but I think it costs nothing to treat patrons with respect and not tell them that they're stupid for asking for a drink. Overall I would not recommend this place at all. Very enforced error. Sad!

Due to the World Cup they are putting a pause on that event. We did decide to go back this Thursday for the USA watch party and it was so fun. They were absolutely packed when we got there but the staff is so kind and accommodating they got us a table outside and even moved it so we could all see the tvs! As soon as we were getting sat the waitress recognized us and asked if we wanted to put in some drinks so we wouldn't have to wait long, huge plus they really do connect with their customers. We ordered our food and everything came out really quickly which was great even though they were so busy. I got the drakes burger with the gluten free bun. My favorite! It comes with a perfectly cooked egg that oozes right into the burger when you bite in. My partner got his favorite the Caesar salad wrap. He always says it super fresh and tastes amazing. My father got a classic cheese burger added bacon. They do make a great burger the prefect amount of messy classic American burger we all crave. They have a very extensive menu it a lot of typical bar food but what sets them apart is their fresh ingredients and unique twist. Their atmosphere and service is always a ten out of ten no matter if it's packed to the brim or not. I plan to keep coming back!

We ordered entrees to share, we had the Cobb salad, fish &chips and bangers & mash, WOW, JUST WOW. We ended with the lemon tart, it made my mouth pucker is a good way. Gayle and I had a nice dinner here recently, of which our table service was very good. I brought it to our waitress's attention, and she kindly took it back and brought out a replacement. Unfortunately, the second ribeye had the exact same sour, spoiled-milk-like taste, so I was unable to continue eating it. Manager (Francisco) came over to discuss the situation. I explained what was wrong with both steaks, but I was disappointed with how the situation was handled. He seemed upset with my explanation, and I did not receive an apology for the inconvenience or the poor experience. Since I could not eat either steak, I kindly requested that I only pay for the sweet potato fries and my drink. I understand that issues with food can happen at any restaurant, but having two ribeyes come out with the same unpleasant sour flavor was concerning. What made the experience worse was the lack of an apology or effort from management to make the situation right.

Focaccia was free, and was paired with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Squid ink pasta was a stand out - noodles were perfectly el dente and the sauce was flavorful and creamy. The mascarpone was a bit hard, like it was just in the fridge but the flavor was still good. Solid modern Italian restaurant, ambience is pretty casual and a lot of customers were ordering wine around us, so it's a nice place to unwind for dinner.
