Came here after a day of getting oysters and having wine. It's on a busy street but street parking it will be. It got busy here towards the evening but overall very nice and cute place to check out. Looks like it's be here for over 30 years or so by the looks but still very nostalgic. I can see this being a great spot to bring friends and play a few games. read more

Really cool pool hall. I haven't seen anything like this in the South Bay. Has plenty of pool tables, some ping pong tables and a small area of arcade. I believe it goes by the hour but we only played 1 game. Would like to come back to play longer! read more

Spacious pool hall with a few arcade games and ping pong tables. Price is $12-24 an hour depending on how many people are in your group and the time of day. Open 365 days a year from 4 pm to midnight. They have a small parking lot or you can do street parking on El Camino/adjacent streets and walk a little. The atmosphere is on the louder side and the clientele seems to be mostly men but my girls and I had a pleasant time. read more

We arrived at exactly 10:45 to play billiards, and they told us we would have to wait 10 minutes. I understood, as they were busy. When I asked again at 11:13, and then again around 11:10 because tables were becoming available, they said the tables were currently full. Then, when I asked again at 11:14, they said that no more tables would be available after 11:15. Six of us had to go back home. I have never had such a bad experience anywhere else. read more

A fun spot to play some pool. The staff is easy to deal with and they mostly stay out of the playing areas. I bring my own sanitizer wipes and whatnot because some of the tables and cues are dirty. The bathroom is wild. One of the toilets never flushes and the other one takes 2-3 flushes for everything to go down. I think they might have a plumbing issue since my husband said something similar for the men's room. read more

It wasn't good to be outside because of the bad air quality from the wildfires, so we needed to find something to do indoors. My friend suggested shooting pool, so we came here after going to the mall. This pool hall is very spacious and there were plenty of tables along with a couple ping pong tables available. After playing a couple rounds of pool, we decided to play ping pong afterwards. I also tried some of my friend's Hefeweizen, but we didn't order any thing else to drink. Lively place with great atmosphere. Ideal for hanging out with friends in the evening, say after getting dinner at a restaurant around the area. Drinks and a pool table are inexpensive, but the arcade and foosball should be cheaper for already paying to get in. Parking is manageable but might be a short walk away. read more

My go-to date spot. Definitely one of the larger pool halls i've ever been in. Tuesdays for the time being is half off. Only beers for sale. Very spacey and doesn't feel cramped at ALL. Also has foozball, a couple arcade games, and two pingpong tables! Modern "jukebox" that you can even download an app to use and play the music you want to hear. The staff is very welcoming and accommodating. A couple doors away from a local bar in case you were in the mood for hard liquor. Overall, it's one of my favorite pool halls. Parking lot is pretty small, so you may have to find street parking depending on how busy it is (it gets pretty busy weekend nights) read more

This place is a horror. Service people are nightmares. They kick you butt and tell you to go away after you have just paid you money for some gears. If you ask for a refund they say they'd get a cop, how ridiculous is this? The store owner shall read this, it's called great entertainment not great pisstainment. Thanks. read more

Good sized pool hall here with decent prices. We needed a place to catch the rest of the game and this spot was close to the restaurant. I didn't count the number of tables but at least had to be 25. Charge by the hour and it was about $12 or so for little over an hour. They have small tvs located around various areas. Drinks and tiny arcade area. Good spot to chill. read more

Used to come here a lot during the summer, usually to play Billiards. I'm not sure what it's like during the day since I usually come here late nights after dinner. It's cheaper definitely than bowling and I usually fork over $5 for 1-2 hours of play depending on how many people are with me. It's not too crowded and even if there are a fairly good amount of people, the noise isn't unbearable. Never any noise complaints while I was there. There are lots of tables so no need to wait! I like the tables in the middle because they are smoother than the ones on the sides or the back. Probably because when the fill up tables, they start from the back and sides? I love that they have a Juke Box and some groups of people would jokingly play songs like "Barbie Girl" to tease their friends with. That totally brought back childhood memories! If you're not into billiards, there's also a ping pong table, a foosball table, and even a mini arcade Completely affordable and a great place to just chill with friends! read more

If there's Flynn's for video games, there's Great Entertainer for billiards. This is what I call a pool hall! What you see is what you get; pool tables, pool tables, pool tables. Pool tables covering the entire floor. (Literally from corners to corners) There's a small arcade and their ping pong table is kind of hidden next to it. The place is kind of dark, but each tables are lit with its individual spot lights. Drinks on tables that are accompanied near pool tables, and music's in the air. Cigarettes, take it outside. Tuesdays are ladies nights, Wednesday are special set price for the entire day. read more

What else is there to do besides movies and bowling in San Mateo? Play billiards. Great place for a date or to hang out with some friends. Probably better to carpool because their parking lot, located on the side of the building, is very small and cramped. Friends and I came on a Tuesday night, which was "play all night for $10". If you didn't plan on staying that long, they charge you whatever is the least amount -- nice. Sign in the women's restroom said "Ladies 1/2 Off on Mondays" so there's that too. All the equipment were in good condition. No complaints there. They served alcohol of course. My friends and I were pleasantly surprised that they also had an extensive menu of pizza, burgers, and appetizers too. The place kind of gave me a 'dive bar' feel, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Only con was that the cashier confused my friends and I when we were trying to pay. Didn't help that he was also trying to help 2 other groups at the same time... Would definitely come back with friends again or just for date night. read more

NEEDS BETTER SERVICE to all younger (Asian) woman, please read!!! [not sure if this was considered a microaggression or not..] Why I'm giving it 2 stars was because of the service. An older cis-white male made a sexist comment and unprofessional service towards me when I was deciding what drink to have. Clearly, I wanted a beer because I wasn't looking at the bottom mini fridge. I took an extra couple minutes and it seemed as if he was becoming impatient because he kept walking back and forth in frustration. Then as I was about to make a choice he began to point of ciders and spirits and commented that all "girls like spirits" as if that was funny. Then when I made my choice of beer, he threw his hands in the air and said "out of all the beers, you chose this one?". I felt very upset because why would he need to belittle the choice of beer when he isn't the one drinking it!! Ridiculous. His tone of voice changed and gave me an attitude as I was about to pay for it, he interrupts me and says "Are you playin' over there? I'm just gonna add to it your tab. Makes it easier for me." I did not understand if perhaps he was going through something, I felt very unsafe, judged, and angry. He needs to understand his boundaries and not comment on customers' decision despite his "expertise" on alcohol! Do not label me based on what you think you know. Please address this. read more

I had an incredibly frustrating and unprofessional experience here tonight, specifically with a…read morestaff member named Tino. I was here playing in my APA league and we also got a practice table. At around 10pm a waitlist started to form, Tino came over to take our table away. We politely offered to just pay the regular hourly rate to keep it. He asked how many of us there were. When we said two, he visibly scoffed, acted like that wasn't enough, and told us we would have to pay the rate for four people if we wanted to keep the table. Then, he just took the table away from us anyway. Worse, when I was complaining to my teammates, he started yelling at me, complaining that we had the table for three hours, that his employee hadn't had lunch yet, and that we needed to give it up and get back on the waitlist. His entire attitude was aggressive, and he tried to make me feel like I was in the wrong for simply playing on a table we had legitimately secured. Later, when the league ended around 11pm, the double standard became painfully obvious. Tino came over specifically to shut down our league table, even though several other teams were still practicing on theirs. He completely ignored everyone else and specifically targeted us. I have been playing pool for nearly 20 years, currently shooting as an APA level 7, with a FargoRate of 568, and I know proper pool hall etiquette. I have never been kicked off a table, singled out, or spoken to this way by staff anywhere. Absolutely unacceptable customer service. Final words to 946: if you don't want the league to interrupt your business, just don't host it. If you choose to host it, treat the players nicely, as we are customers too.

Back then, the wall cues were usable--you only needed to check if one was straight. This time (August 2025), not a single wall cue was in playable condition. Many had cracked ferrules, and the felt on the table shifted under my bridge hand. For $10/hr, I was charged $8.25 for only 20 minutes of table time, which felt unreasonable. What really concerns me is the bigger picture. If a newcomer curious about pool stumbled into this environment, I doubt they'd want to come back. This idiot don't even introduce himself or anything, he just starting talking to us like we were ten year old and he was our dad. Also, he never did this shit with any other table there. There are also no signs anywhere of this rule. He pretty much killed our vibe and we left. We're grown ass men, if we fuck up your table so be it but why the fuck are you coming up to us and where we're half drunk trying to talk to us like you're our dad. Not coming back.

There are other farms where there's lines to pay and the strawberries get picked out in a day. The strawberries here great, this season seemed a little smaller but maybe because of the timing we came. You can also buy strawberries in the store if you don't feel like picking. These strawberries are significantly bigger but not sure if they're tastier or about the same. It's a bit chillier here because it's right by the ocean and gets the ocean breeze, but nothing a jacket doesn't solve. And they also note this on their website so you're prepared! Theres also a cafe/bakery down the street which we always eat afterwards. So it's not in the middle of nowhere where.

With our visit occurring during opening weekend, picking the cherries wasn't too bad. There was plenty of reachable fruit for ya girl who is a whopping 5'5. The darker, sweeter options located at the tip top of the trees were only accessible if you had a fruit picker. No ladders were available or seen. 5/5 stars for the memorable family fun. Our party left with 3 [small] buckets of firm, crisp, semi tart, & juicy cherries. You walk around picking the cherries you want. The trees are marked to indicate the different varietals. You put them in your bag, and you go back to the table to pay for what you picked. Great date idea. There are a couple photo spots designed for Instagram type photos. We didn't use those, just took regular pics. And the whole thing cost like $10 for both of us. I would recommend shoes you don't mind getting dirty or stained. Parking was small but we still found parking at the entrance maybe cuz we went toward end of the season and later in the afternoon. If going on warm spring weather , bring a hat or umbrella., there were still plenty of shades under cherry trees as walk tree to tree or row to row . We got carried away and end up picking 6 lb +, cost added up fast . 6.50$ per pound for cherry and 3.50$ / lb for apricots . Both cherry and apricots were sweet ! Distanced only 20 mins from San Jose Central area , which is great location if you are in nearby town/city .

My friends and I arrived at 10 near the tail end of the season and there was plenty of parking (a small, unpaved lot!) and space to pick berries. There are signs indicating which rows correlate to which berries (I didn't know there were so many varieties) and the farm offers both black and raspberries. One thing i really liked was that they have specific rows they recommend visitors pick from. We didn't see the signs are first so we ended up picking from the back/middle rows, but the berries were all so sweet and juicy. I'd definitely recommend people checking this out for a quick, cute weekend date with friends or loved ones :)
