This place is great for the family. The heat was pretty brutal but luckily they have fans with mist to ease the heat. The food was soild and did a great job keeping us full till dinner. Would definitely come back!

Stopped by Topgolf at Talking Stick for a quick drink before heading to a spring training game, and it was the perfect pregame stop. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, fast service, and a fun energy even if you're only there for a short visit. Whether you're playing a round or just grabbing a drink, it's a great place to kick off the day. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Arizona.

Great spot for fun, food, and good vibes! I have a membership, and it's always a great experience. The breakfast flatbreads are amazing -- fresh and flavorful. The drinks are good, and the service is great every time. One of the best parts is the view of Talking Stick in the background, which makes the place even more beautiful, especially during sunrise or sunset. Perfect place to hang out with friends, practice your swing, and enjoy food and drinks!

I stopped in for lunch and to use up a gift card today. Enjoyed excellent service by Luis. So warm and attentive! I enjoyed a to go order of the pretzel bites and chicken strips with fries, blue cheese and Dijon aioli to dip. The chicken was surprisingly tender and love the sauces! Both were great and plentiful for leftovers! Also grabbed a cookie sundae which they packaged up to go for me. Pretty good :)

The atmosphere was amazing very hot outside but amazing. Our server was top notch and went above and beyond to make sure our party of 10 was well taken care of

This was my first time going to top golf and I had a ball. I was with a group of friends and the competition among each other was funny and memorable. There were tons of "whiffs" which I learned is missed shots, lol. We arrived on a Thursday evening and the place was packed. The staff was cool and friendly. Our food server, Darnell was a sweetheart. First thing first was ordering food and drinks. Honestly when I return i could skip the food, unless I want a little snack. Most of us ordered the flat wings, flatbread pizza and flavored margaritas. The wings were the best thing on the table. Now to game, only two of us had been to top golf before. However, they were no help in remembering what to do. One of the staff explained the game and our options from the screen. We started our game and laughed and yelled at each other about our amateur swings. We saw these young kids swinging those golf clubs with power. They had their personalized golf clubs with gloves. It was a new and cool experience to witness. During our games we saw staff on the field clearing some of the balls on the ground. Of course I won the first round and bragged alot. The second round I lost. We had the option to extend our game but declined. This is definitely a spot I plan on returning to practice my swings.

Had a fun time with my son and husband today. My son has the summer pass which is a great deal. We were able to play for 2 hours and you get 10% off food & drinks. Shoutout to our server Michelle!! Thanks again for the excellent service! She was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive...kept our water cups filled. Please share this review with her because her service made our morning!

We were headed to the casino next door for a concert and swing in for a quick bite. We were both surprised but the pretzel bites & boneless chicken bites were fantastic! The cheese for the was yum! Let's talk about the BBQ bites dipped in ranch- whoa! They were so delicious that we ordered a second round since we were sharing! We were at another place eating their boneless bites a week later & they weren't near at this level!! I mean- we were still talking about them- that says something! So juicy delicious! We were taken back at the security guard as we were leaving though. Old guy having control issues! He was rude ..... over a wrist band. I asked if they had scissors to cut it off. He cut it off and I started walking away. He loudly said "mamm, you forgot this" being the wristband. Another gentleman said, let me throw that away for you. I said thank you! The old guy said, she can throw it away herself over there - pointing to a trash bin! Super weird experience. 4 stars due to the jerk!!

Our server Marcella was fantastic and we had a blast. The food and drinks are yummy, everything is clean, and there are plenty of fun games to play for people who don't want to play 18 holes of simulator golf. Great spot for friends, family, or work.

Great night of fun food and drinks!! Lots of people smiling and laughing. Nice to be around happy people after a long work week. Our waiter was very nice and brought our drinks right away. Definitely coming back to this location again.

This top golf in Scottsdale area is one of my favorites. It's located right next to the talking stick resort and golf course. This place has many bays. So we were pretty confident that we would get at least one bay without a reservation. I always bring my golf clubs, but you can use theirs as well. Balls don't travel as far as the balls you will use for a real round of golf. So don't be upset when your shots don't travel as far. Service was great. They attended to us every 15 mins to see if we were doing fine. Also since one of our orders arrived late, they gave us free extra 30 mins and also wiped that item off of our bill. It was very nice of them to do that. Definitely get 5 stars from me for their hospitality. Food and the ambiance were awesome. Although my sister in law wouldn't agree with me as one of the hitter next to us looked like a long distance powerful driver. She didn't like how loud his shots were. This is our second time here. Looking forward to stopping here again when I am back in the Scottsdale area next year. Oh also, Tuesdays are half off. We got lucky both the times as we were here on Tuesdays.

We had a work event at Top Golf. They provided a meeting space for the first half of our event and we had 3 bays right outside the meeting space for open golf play. They set up a Mexican buffet. Food and service were great and it was a nice place to enjoy the cool Arizona weather!

This has been my go-to TopGolf because it is so much better than the one by my home in Avondale. However, I went yesterday and while eating a pizza, what I thought was a cheese pull was actually a rubber band, cooked into my pizza. I brought it to the attention of the manager and he said a lot of people complain about rubber bands in the food. He told me it had to do with the manufacturer, thankfully the pizza was comped but he seemed very hesitant and said "I mean, I said sorry, I don't know what to do if it's not our problem, it's the manufacturer". The energy from our server was off the rest of the night, it felt like we inconvenienced them. I will unfortunately be going to the TopGolf near my house from now on.

Last night, we ordered from Parlay and when my husband picked up the food he saw a 10z ribeye for steak and eggs on the brunch menu. Before trying the food, he already decided to get their breakfast in the morning. We got an ahi Salad, some southwest spring rolls, and a chicken sandwich. All were good. The egg rolls and the sauce that came with them were awesome. Today, after my surgery - Husband ordered the steak and eggs that came with potatoes and toast. It's 10oz ribeye, for only $25 bucks. We knew it would be a thin cut, but in today's economy!, still an awesome price for all of that. He asked for medium rare. I ordered a burger (I forget which kind; I was high from surgery) cooked medium. Both the steak and burger were cooked beyond well done. Beyond. My husband NEVER returns food. But, he told the server when he came by to check on us. The server was super cool. He brought the steak back. I hadn't said anything about the burger yet. I didn't have the energy and I think I was still chewing my first bite while half asleep. The steak was taking a good while to come back. Server said the cook KEPT ON over cooking the steak. , idk how many steaks he ruined before he decided on the one we should get. It was a 3/4 10oz ribeye. Should be cooked 2-3 minutes on each side. Server finally brought a new steak out. It was blue rare. Some bites were edible, but husband was iffy. The rest of the steak was still raw. Server came back and we let him know. He was in agreement and apologized. At that point I let him know the burger was also super well done. It was almost funny since again, surgery high. The server didn't charge us for the steaks and I think he compensated us for my husband's Bloody Mary too. His eggs and potatoes were fine. My fries were perfect. Ngl.. we may go back tonight since it's close to the hotel and they have a chocolate ganache cake I craved before I knew it was on the menu. Hopefully the chef making the steaks is not also the baker I will update the review to report whether or not the cake gets overcooked lol. 1st time experience -Restaurant and other food is decent. Possible new cook ruining steaks: needs a lesson Pic shared is the steak we laughed about taking home to finish cooking. It's been in the fridge so it doesn't look as raw as it did earlier.

Parking wasn't an issue in the large, complimentary lot they share with a bunch of other businesses. Ambiance (3.5/5): Pretty much your typical well-kept bar and restaurant. We sat at the bar, though there is plenty of table and booth seating if that's more your jam. Service (4/5): Our bartender was new but she was super friendly and accommodating. I had to grab her attention a few times, but overall, solid. Drinks (4/5): One of the nice things about The Parlay is that they have happy hour every day until 6. We took advantage of it for the last 45 minutes or so. Happy hour consists of discounts off of their cocktails and appetizers, which both are large lists. I enjoyed two drinks off of the happy hour menu including one with a huge smoke bubble. My third time having a drink like this and always a good time. I think the bartender got the ingredients off a slight bit, but she'll get better with practice. Food (3/5): The food is a hit and a miss. I had three appetizers: the fried avocado, the steak bites, and the pretzels with fondue cheese. The best of the bunch is the fried avocado. Think of an avocado deep fried in the same way you see a bunch of foods at the carnival. Pretty much anything is good in this format, am I right? Beyond the avocado, it was served on a bed of a corn and crema slaw of sorts which was delicious. Good portion size. In the middle were the pretzels. I love cheese so this is my type of appetizer. The soft pretzels were soft and buttered well. Solid but a smaller portion size than I anticipated. And lastly, the steak bites. They're served with flat fries and drizzled with a sweet sauce. Good portion. The problem. I ordered it medium rare and it was well done. You can't mess up steak like this. You shouldn't even serve it. The chef messed up so he or she should have started over. I'm not the type that returns dishes so I ate it, but it took away from the dish a lot. While I wouldn't run to come back to The Parlay, if happy hour is involved, and I'm in the area, I'd check it out again. Hopefully they can work out some of the kinks.

I understand it's subjective, I would have been perfectly happy with the "normal" Zipps fries that everyone else at the table received (and anyone who's been to Zipps knows they're usually on the softer side anyway). Instead, my basket came out looking like the fries had barely met the fryer, limp, and bordering on raw. They weren't close to "extra crispy," they were about as far from extra crispy as you can get. Our server, K, offered to have another basket made, which I appreciated. A few minutes later, another basket arrived with the explanation, "They only look uncooked because we just changed the oil." Sadly, they were hot, but somehow even more uncooked. At that point, I asked to speak with a manager. She offered to make a third basket, but by then I was halfway through my meal and didn't need them to try a third time to cook a basket of fried. She simply said, "Okay," and walked away. No apology, no acknowledgment that they had served raw fries twice, nothing. When the check arrived, there wasn't any adjustment, discount, or even a simple "Sorry about that." I mentioned to K that I wasn't surprised nothing had been done, and she replied, "We can't take a whole focaccia off the bill because of bad fries." I wasn't asking for a free meal, I said take $2 off, or buy me a $5 Zipparita. Better yet, just apologize. Any of those would have sufficed. K did go ask the manager one last time, but returned saying, "Sorry, my manager said no." I still tipped 20%. My wife thought I was crazy, especially considering the attitude we received, but this wasn't about getting something free, it was about basic customer service. Mistakes happen. Raw fries happen. What shouldn't happen is acting like it isn't worth a simple apology. The disappointing part isn't that the fries were bad. It's that two opportunities to make things right came and went, and nobody cared, but everyone had a bad attitude. The good news? The Zipparitas are still undefeated. They'll for sure drag me back. I'll just be sticking to the Camelback location, where the servers are consistently friendly, the managers actually seem to care, and somehow they manage to cook fries all the way through.

It was my lucky day! Craving for a beer after a stressful day (what else would heal stress better…read morethan a beer? jk!!) and found a street parking spot right outside Goldwater. I took it as a sign. It was meant to be. I immediately sat down, closed my eyes, took a deep breath, and left work behind. The AC came on at the perfect time. I cool down with a cup of water first, and explored the menu. Probably because of my defeated and exhausted look, the bartender came straight to me. I ordered the sour from their rotating menu. I appreciate the attentiveness of her, but also appreciated that she let me be during the visit. Seems like there were some usual guests there, so they were chatting away. I also left with a few cans of beer to-go. I love that they have a fully stocked fridge for the to-go needs!

While it's not in the heart of Old Town, it's within walking distance. We stopped by on a Thursday around 9:30 p.m. While we were on foot, I noticed that they have a parking lot. Ambiance (4/5): Relatively small for a brewery, but your typical chill, brewery vibes. They have some seats at the bar, some high tops, and a small patio. We sat out on the patio since the weather was nice. The seats out there are a bit uncomfortable, but we couldn't pass up on patio weather. They have free water in the corner which is always a plus so you don't have to wait in line. Service (5/5): The bartender working was super nice. It's always appreciated when servers go above and beyond in providing a great experience. He was friendly, efficient, and attentive. I couldn't have asked for more in my service experience at Goldwater. He exceeded my expectations. Food (N/A): I already ate previously so no food for me. There was a Mexican food truck in the parking lot. Drinks (4/5): I love trying local brews. At breweries, I typically get a flight so I can try out a variety of beers. This time though, I went with a pint. I couldn't say no to the Sour Rangers. I grew up watching the Power Rangers, so that was all the motivation I needed. An added bonus was that this beer is a sour. Not something you have every day, nor a style of beer that you come across very often. So I had to take advantage of the opportunity. And it was a good one. Goldwater is my type of place. I'd definitely return the next time I'm in the area!

Here are a few of my reasons... Restaurants don't survive if you're not crushing it with food and service. In a part of town where most places don't last more than a few years, Social Tap has been doing it for over 10. Not only is the food good for "bar food," but they also bring lots of it. To wash it down, they have a legit beer menu. But what's good food if it's not served well? I've found the staff very welcoming. From the hostesses to the servers and bartenders to barbacks, they genuinely make Social Tap feel like a community. The staff is never too busy to make sure you're taken care of and to ask how you're doing. For those who like to watch their favorite out-of-town team, like me (Go Cubs Go!), they're very open to changing up the channels for you. It's a small thing and takes little effort, but it makes it feel like you're more than just a "local." Inside or outside, upstairs or downstairs, Social Tap (and the Balcony Bar up top) is a great place to watch some sports ball, chat with friendly staff, and unwind in Old Town Scottsdale. It's the ideal place to "hang out" from early afternoon until the crazy nightlife begins to take over. If you stop by and see someone sitting at the end of the bar when you walk in, hanging on every pitch when the Cubbies are on, that's probably me. Say, "Hey," and let's chat.
