Wasn't sure what I was in the mood for so I ordered the Buffalo Mac & Cheese pizza. Most places have a hard time pulling off just one. They nailed both. If you're a pizza snob, this might not be your spot. But if you want a decent football pie, it's just right. So why the low stars? They charged me for two other items I ordered and didn't deliver. I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. So I took a chance on ordering here. All I ordered was a small cheese breadsticks. How hard can that be? Very, apparently. From being passed off the wrong order TWICE to taking nearly double the amount of time they said it would be ready. based on the number of other irritated customers I witnessed I wasn't the only one having issues . I can't speak to whether or not it's worth the hassle as I told them to cancel the order and had to contact grub hub customer support to make sure my refund was processed correctly. Just don't do it. Aside from the service being mid and the restaurant itself being semi dirty (specifically speaking the restroom) this place is great. They have lots of vegan and vegetarian toppings and the pizza is VERY GOOD. I ordered the vegan buffalo chicken pizza and added jalapeños and it was amazing. My friend and I shared a large pizza and we still walked out with two leftover slices. Also they are open late so we were able to grab a pizza after being out and about at the bars. I would definitely come back. Oh and the pricing is fair. A large vegan pizza cost less than $30 after tip. I'm super happy I discovered this place while on my trip. read more

got our order cash delivery. total $33 and some change. boyfriend gave the guy $23 and then i came and gave him $17 totaling $40. 18% tip. guy comes back and says we didn't give him enough to cover so i gave him another $20. that's now $60 for a $33 order. called the store and they said they'd take care of it... didn't take any of my info down or anything. in my opinion the driver decided to take the extra $20 acting like it was for the bill. read more

was shocked to see such a low rating for toppers since the pizza we had was phenomenal. after reading through some of the reviews, it looks like most of the negative experiences were related to service/rude staff. luckily we didn't have to deal directly with the staff thanks to doordash. the vegan buffalo chicken-less pizza was amazing. i ordered it tallboy style... whatever that means haha. it was thick and doughy and everything i want a pizza to be. this is my new favorite vegan pizza. my friends got the loaded totza pizza and the tripple nachostix and they were raving about them. tater tots, bacon, and nacho cheese on pizza... how can you go wrong? no doubt this was a hit for all of us. read more

I'm giving Toppers 1 star because you can't give zero!! What kills me about this is I've never even had their pizza but they earned every ounce of my 1 star!! How you might ask? Oh I'm all too pleased to divulge. So the saga begins... My manager ordered 3 pizzas and breadsticks to be delivered to our place of work at 1245 am to celebrate our night shift nurses. She left my number as the night shift supervisor to be called upon delivery. Her card was charged but our pizzas never came. I started calling around 1:15 am and the recording said "we are open and taking orders..." but no one ever answered. I drove over there and they were clearly closed, though the website advertises that they are open until 3 or 4 am. I told my manager the next morning and she was clearly under the impression that the pizzas should have been delivered. Figuring she would take care of that I went home and went to bed. Upon awakening, I discovered a voicemail on my phone where Nathan from Toppers called and said his manager talked to me and I said we would take the pizzas the following evening as they had no closers the previous night. He accused me of having poor communication and not understanding why I would attempt to come pick it up. This unprofessional voicemail has prompted my review. I'm not sure I will ever try Toppers at this time. Here's the icing on my experience... I get to work that night to discover my manager opted to go with Fratelli's (excellent pizza btw). So, I'm confused why Nathan felt it necessary to call me and accuse me of poor communication when in fact his manager never spoke to me at all. She spoke to my manager. In addition, since the customer already decided to go with another company... was it really appropriate to call me Nathan? I'm not sure. read more

The pizza is so delicious. I believe this place is pretty close to authentic pizza!! The pepperoni pizza comes with 3 different types of pepperoni. The Hawaiian pizza has pineapple, bacon, and huge slices of ham with a bbq sauce. We also got cheesy bread and it came with a butter garlic dipping sauce and ranch. I didn't like that the ranch and marinara were pre packaged. All in all, I wish I lived closer to this location. it would be my go to pizzeria for sure. read more

I gave it a 1-Star rating, simply because because 0 wasn't an option. Whoever answers your phone is the most rude human I have ever encountered in the restaurant industry. As well, we ordered the food last night for delivery at 5:30. Our credit card was charged, but the food was never delivered, despite a couple of follow up calls from us. Finally, we had to drive to pick up the food this morning at 11:00. The incompetent lady at the desk threw the pizza on the counter and told my son to "never come back". He wish shall be granted. I think it's safe to say that this is my favorite chain pizza place in town. The food is consistently good and it's always super fast. It's not dripping in grease like some other chains (ahem, Jets) and it's always cooked through and never soggy. I guess I'm the lucky one; I have never had any of the issues that other Yelpers have mentioned. They have some good deals, including a $7.99, 3 topping pizza for takeout (M-W only). Their mushrooms are fresh, the green peppers and other veggies are crisp (not limp and soggy like some other chains), and the sausage is delicious (huge chunks, not those dried out little pieces you sometimes get). Their specialty pizzas are all great, and they have several to choose from. The Topperstix are super cheesy and a great treat if you want something with your pizza. Ordering online is pretty easy and I have never had any issues with their system. Last night I ordered a pizza online and it was ready in 10 minutes. I will say that this pizza isn't for those who love sauce - their pizzas are the least saucy I've found, but the cheese is what makes a pizza for me. And Toppers' cheese is great! I still order from local places, but I think this is honestly better (and more consistent) than my favorite local take-out pizza place! read more

The service over the phone while ordering could use some help.. they didn't have straight forward answer on what was on the menu so I decided to order online. This location has some serious customer service issues- which is unfortunate because as far as delivery-pizza quality goes, Toppers is one of my favorite options based on ingredient options & price. We've decided to stop getting take-out here solely based on the abysmal service. The cashier doesn't seem to know what she's doing. I've mostly wound up eating Toppers drunkenly, usually after partying up somewhere in Eastown, like at least 5 times prior and I had my first sober experience with it a few weeks ago, where it dawned on me how Toppers has always come through for me. It definitely tops my list for chain pizza, and there's really not a single complaint I have for it. I would say my other favorite chain pizza joint is Jet's, but Toppers isn't nearly as greasy and heavy, nor as expensive. They have a much better selection of veggie toppings, which are always big, fresh and crisp (no soggy ass canned mushrooms). Their deals are great, as are their gooey, crispy Toppers Sticks. Their pizzas have great cheese to sauce ratio, the bread is never too soggy, the crusts are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Their sauce is flavorful. Everything is just on point and delicious. With their generous hours and great location, I go there a lot more than I should. read more

Our experience at toppers was very subpar. We went in pretty late, around 12am. The place was busy and didn't seem to have any actual employees working. Their prices written on the wall don't match up to the price you end up paying. They also tried to barter with us last time, knocking down the price which didn't match the menu price.
