This salon is DIRTY. They do not clean/ sanitize the tools they use for manicures and pedicures. I noticed the nail tech reaching for a opened tool kit to do my pedicure with (they should be opening the closed and sanitized tool pouch in front of you) so I simply asked her to please get me a freshly sanitized pouch of tools before continuing. This clearly upset her and she made that very obvious. She then went over to the sanitizing area and acted as though she got a different set of tools but I'm honestly not sure she even did They also use the same DIRTY unsanitary nail files on numerous different clients, over and over again. Pay attention during your mani/pedi and you will notice how worn and used the nail files are! When I asked her to please use a new file she became extremely irritated w me I will never be back! If you still decide to use this salon (I'm not the only review that talks about how dirty this place is) just make sure you are paying attention and demand that they use clean, sanitized tools !!! I also booked a massage here once and it was a very weird ( semi creepy ) experience. The "masseuse" stood on my back barefoot along with other strange behavior! It was an extremely weird experience overall (not relaxing at all) and very obvious that she isn't experienced (or certified) in anyway The massage room was also very dingy looking and the pillow cover was dirty, I had to request that it be changed before even beginning my "massage" There are a few very nice nail salons in Peabody , this isn't one of them. read more

I have been a faithful patron of Top's for over a year now. It's a modest low key shop without many bells and whistles but it is always clean and there's a MILLION colors to choose from. Vanna is my go to nail tech and masseuse. The spa pedicure is AMAZING, there are so many soak options and the massage portion is amazing. I have recently started doing massages there as well after being consistently disappointed by chain locations in the area and fell in love with Vanna's Thai massage. read more

My friend and I went to this place because the place We usually go to was too busy to take us so we decided to give this a try. Lisa did my nails and Christina did my friend. We were skeptical about the place since it is small and got some negative reviews. However the result was outstanding. The girls were supper nice and friendly. They did fantastic job on our acrylic nails. I didn't try the pedicure but my friend got a basic pedicure and she loved it. The price is also very responsible compared to others . The only thing is that they don't have their own paring so i had to park at public parking near Walgreens and walk up. My friend got lucky and found a meter spot In front the store. Now looking at my nails I know the parking issue was worth it. I would definitely going here from now on Lisa and Christina are our new nail ladies. read more

horrible service!! got a full set which is $25 and she charged for $40 because i got coffin and two colors on one nails (i'll leave pictures) i wasn't warned that coffin was extra. and since when is coffin extra $, never. she also charged extra for a simple "design" but it wasn't even a design. she didn't even do it correctly. overall my total was $45. tools were not cleaned. she made my cuticles bleed about 5 times. she yelled me for the nail polish i picked even though she id the one providing the nail polishes. my fingers also still hurt from when i got them done. area is not clean at all. the nail tech didn't sanitize the area when she was finished with the other persons nails. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! dont go there please you will most likely get an infection lol read more

I just came from top nails & didn't have a good experience. The manicurists seem to be rushing through every step of my pedicure & that made me feel anxious, not relaxed like I hoped for. When she did the manicure, on some nails she didn't polish all the way to the cuticle & on other nails she left polish on the cuticles. Then when I looked at my pedicure with my glasses on I saw the same. Some nails without polish all the way to the cuticle & again she also left polish the skin on my toes. There was also no hand or feet drier, just a fan for my fingernails. The mani/pedi doesn't suck but I could have done an equally good job myself & for free. I chose this place because it was the least expensive around so I guess it falls true here you get what you pay for, so I won't be going back here again read more

Ive been seeing Lisa for an estimated 9 years..she is very experienced and polite. She is attentive to detail and will do whatever youd like. I am a truck driving very rough lady and my nails are always strong and on! i would recommend Tops nails to anyone who needs a consistent professional nail place! I love this place! Christina has done my nails for over a year and she has done everything that I've asked for. Every two weeks I get an acrylic refill and shellac, and I also get a shellac pedicure. My pedicure lasts 6 weeks and my manicure lasts up to 3 weeks. I look designs up in the Internet and Christina always does them for me. Very friendly people and also nice people give it a try and don't pay attention to one bad review. read more

I have always had excellent service at this salon. I started coming here when I was in high school, and it's been about 10 years, and they do such an amazing job on my pedicure and shellac manicure. They have so many shellac colors, and they are so clean. The owner is wonderful, and so is here staff. They are so accommodating. It's understanding that not every customer can be pleased, but for those with the negative criticism, I dare you to show me a salon that can give excellent service at a reasonable price like they do. I got a gift certificate to here for Christmas. I got a pedicure and a shellac french manicure. The pedicure was awful, I specifically asked the girl NOT to cut my toe nails because I didn't want to deal with painful in growns. Sure enough, she cut the crap out of them. She cut them angled which you're not supposed to do and did them so angled it was awful. That was over two months ago and I'm still trying to grow them back to normal. After my not so amazing pedicure, she did the manicure and then applied the shellac. While she did an amazing job with the shellac, it took her over 45 minutes, no joke. I wouldn't have minded as much, if the shellac actually lasted two weeks like it promises to. Within two days it was chipping off. I called the salon to let them and the woman was very rude and said to come in and they would just take a look at it. I told them for $30 I was very disappointed that it only lasted two days at best. The woman that answered the phone seemed mad and was talking in her native language to the woman doing my nails - something that makes me irate to no end especially considering the fact that they all spoke fluent English. Anyways, she was only going to re-do the three nails that had chipped and I asked her to please do them all as I was not going to make a trip back again in three days to have them all re done again. She agreed and did do them, again taking almost an hour. Unfortunately, a few days later they all chipped off yet again. I didn't even bother going back and never will. Overall I wouldn't recommend this place, not just because my nails chipped off, but because it's a bad location, parking is limited, it's not very clean and it's mediocre service at best. read more
