Love it here! This is one of my favorite wineries. I've wanted to come here for awhile. I finally stopped by. I arrived at 11:30 on a Saturday, before the rush. I would recommend this. I was there for a few hours but it got really crowded and after 12 there was a wait to be seated. When I arrived, there was plenty of outdoor seating available. I tried a variety of white wine and Chardonnay. Everything I tried was delicious. I'd recommend trying several wines here. I also ordered a cheese and meat plate, oysters and key lime pie. Everything was made fresh and was extremely flavorful. I would recommend everything I ordered. I would order the same wines and food again but I'd love to come back to try more of their other options as well. This place fills up quickly on weekends. I would definitely recommend arriving here early. They have lots of outdoor seating on their patio and in their garden. The vineyard is very spacious too. Walking around the garden and vineyard is very beautiful and picturesque. No one else was in the vineyard when I was there, but I would recommend walking around the grounds for the great views. They have live music on weekends here too. It started up later in the day. But it was very relaxing to hear music on the patio. I can't wait to come back here again soon.

There are times like this when I am hesitant to leave a review.....Why? Because when I find a place I love I almost don't want to share it. FULL 5 Stars here for our Saturday afternoon chill.. First off TVV offers many services: wedding, on-site catering\events, wine tasting. But keep in mind: Open to the public Sat & Sun 11am-5:30pm Plenty of outside tables covered with huge open tents; kept out the sun but not the nice breezes we had on our perfect weather day. Also a good sized tiki bar with drafts beers as well as the house wines. ( NY produced spirits like vodka, etc also sold). Plenty of servers and busboys. Food came out in good time. Water refilled fast. Simple menu like sliders, salads, bar food. What we all shared was excellent. Fried calamari was perfectly cooked. Guacamole on toasts points with chopped tomatoes & onions we very good. Even the large pretzel with beer cheese was one of the best I ever had ( the dough was almost like a hard zeppole) As for the wines.... I'm a little picky. Never a huge fan of NJ\NY wines, but they had some good stuff. I'd skip the reds but they had some very good whites. One of them called Diamond ( semi-dry) was excellent and when used in the White Sangria.... THE BEST. That is my drink up there from now on....Very good. Prices are great for both the food and drinks (Huge wine pour for only $8!!) They also have LIVE music on weekends. everything from a solo guitar player singing great tunes to well known cover bands. I know I can't wait to go back.

First off, I love the ambiance of torne valley and don't mind going here. However once they become slightly busy, service takes a downhill turn. We came on a lovely Saturday when they first opened. We have been there before so we already knew what wine we liked. There was plenty of choices for outdoor seating both under the tent and in the gravel patio area next to it. The live music was good, a mix of current history and older songs. Food was OK, usually better. We tried a salad, crispy calamari (that wasn't crispy but at least wasn't chewy) and truffle waffle fries. Once our food was out I think we were only checked on once, and waited a while for our check (we were there more than 2 hours). We probably would've ordered more food and drinks, but we ended up just asking for the check so we could snack somewhere else. I'd still come back, because it's very nice to sit out there and enjoy some wine.

Perfect Saturday outing with my girls, away from the city on our way to visit a friend in a neighboring town. Kim was amazingly knowledgeable on the wines with great recommendations. She took some great pic of us too!! The food menu had a great variety and even some daily specials. The live music and and chill atmosphere was a vibe! The only loss of a star was for not having the house specialty berry drink available in a pitcher. We opted for the sangria which was a lil weak so, we just added a bottle of Reisling to it! Purchased several bottles to take home and had some great laughs with the staff. Would totally do it all over again!

    Cheese plater

We ordered the cheese platter and gave us blocks of some store bought cheddar cheese and pepper jack the smoked gouda which wasn't bad but still gave us blocks witch were impossible to eat with the dry baguette, other than that they gave us blocks of salami and sliced pepperoni for a price of 17$ could be alot better for the price

A friend and I came to Thorne Valley Vineyards twice. Each time, we had a great time. 1st time 9/26/21: We came and the place was packed. The Restaurant doesn't take reservations. It's best to just show up when it opens. There's indoor and outdoor dining. Anyway, we decided to do some serious wine tasting indoors. Kim came over to our area and gave us tasting cards. If I recall, we were able to select 10 Wines for tasting. At that time, we ordered a cheese platter too. We came home with a great bottle of Seyval Blanc. In addition, a NJ accessory shop displayed beautiful handmade jewelry. 2nd time 10/31/21: Outside restaurant wasn't crowded. The indoor and outdoor bars were packed. We decided to sit outside at a table under a tent. We ordered a wonderful pitcher of red sangria ($36) and cheese platter. Afterwards, we did have a glass of Kimmie's Crush (Semi Dry Red Wine). The wine was very good. A band named the Hip Replacements performed lively music. It was a very enjoyable day! There's parking in front of the winery and in the back. Unfortunately, I have to take one star off. The concrete stairs from the back parking lot are cracking and lack hand rails.

Torne Valley Vineyards ..... 19th century country estate greets you.

Torne Valley Vineyards ~~ The entrance to the 19th century country estate with its Victorian mansion is quite impressive. There was 40 min wait for the wine tasting scheduled for Saturday, June 6th. We were seated on the lawn, under the tree & canopy large enough to provide us shade. We had white wine sangria, cabernet sauvignon, and Gewurtztraminer, with a cheese platter. A wonderful day to be out having wine in the open space. And it's a short drive from the GW bridge.

This vineyard was wonderful. Very beautiful spot! The white sangria was delicious! The views are very nice. The caprese salad was ok, they sold out of the shrimp tacos but I would love to go back and try them.

First visit to this vineyard last weekend was very enjoyable! We were fortunate that it wasn't too busy on a Saturday. We were able to enjoy the afternoon listening to good live music while sipping on wine. I prefer dry wine and particularly liked their Seyval Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon. They have a limited menu, especially for gluten free. The Torne Valley Salad with chicken (GF) and Chicken Panini were good. The staff is knowledgeable about gluten free and takes necessary precautions.

Outdoor seating was a great place to relax while enjoying one of the winery's selection of wines. Food is also available. The grounds were beautiful! Friendly staff and live music. I would definitely go back!

Food: 3.5/5 Tried their Chardonnay and Cab Franc. Both were tasty! The Chardonnay was light, crisp and dry while the Cab Franc was dry, smooth and medium bodied. I'm sort of a wine snob. The wine here was good but not great. Also tried their meat and cheese platter, the french fries, the chicken panini and their burger. The meat and cheese was average. For $12, I wasn't expecting anything fancy. The fries were more like waffle fries with parmesan cheese. It was seasoned and fried perfectly! The chicken panini was pressed and super crispy/delicious. The burger was tasty too! Did not expect the food to be good but was pleasantly surprised! Service: 2/5 Initially we were told the wait time was about an hour but it was more like an hour and 40 minutes. Not really their fault but it did take long. The bartender at the cash bar wasn't too friendly. We had a lot of time to kill so ended up hanging out at the cash bar. I asked him two questions. "Hi, how are you" and "which wine would you recommend -the chardonnay or rose" and he said "oh you have too many questions!" I avoided him for the rest of my visit. The other female bartender was much nicer. Ambiance: 3/5 First time going to a vineyard in this location. I'm familiar with the vineyards out in the Hamptons. I prefer the vibe out in the Hamptons better but this place was quaint. They have live music outdoors which adds a nice touch.

I called in the morning to make a reservation for a Friday early afternoon. Nobody returned my call after an hour and a half so I tried calling again. Someone answered and took my reservation for 2. There's plenty of parking around the property, but I really wouldn't suggest visiting when they're busy (weekends, autumn). Pamela and Lauren were serving the wines and took care of everyone. They wanted to ensure everybody got wines that enjoyed. We weren't crazy about too many of the wines, but did find a couple we liked. We really enjoyed the Rkatsiteli wine and bought 3 bottles. You can't bring food from outside into the experience, but you can purchase food from the farm's market. We got some port cheese spread and breadsticks. The market charges a 2 percent credit card fee, but the wine tasting room doesn't charge a fee. If you reserve at least 48 hours in advance, you can purchase charcuterie boxes. The only suggestion I have for improvement is to provide some water during the tasting experience. This is typical at wineries as tasters want to cleanse their palates and glasses.

International red 5. Ruby's kiss The first wine was very light and bland tasting for my opinion. My boyfriend loved it and actually bought a bottle of it. Summer fields was sweeter but definitely a lighter style wine. Three tasted like a Christmas season mulled wine but was absolutely delicious. Four was a very dry wine. I left that for my boyfriend to drink as I was not a fan. He enjoyed it and said it was crisp and a nice cold red. Ruby's kiss as always is delicious and a great drink. Taking away a star because we had politely asked our service what the Apple Dave's Distillery was next door and she responded with such attitude and disgust that was asked "that's an entirely separate business" and then abruptly left our table. Not sure what the issue was asking a simple question but it left a weird vibe I did not enjoy.

At that time, the flights were served in "glasses" as they should be. Please see attached photos. -7/4/25 (2nd Visit) We came for the Fourth of July holiday. When we arrived at the winery, we noticed the winery appeared to be much larger. Later, we realized that this was an addition to the original tasting room. We came to the counter. I asked if they had wine flights. The young woman informed me that 4 tastings were $20 and 6 for $30. She was absolutely delightful. So we chose the 6 for $30. This flight was given to us in "plastic containers". I'd like to say that there were quite a few people in the winery. However, I noticed that they didn't order flights. That being said, I think they could've taken the time out to have the flights in glasses. After ther flight, I ordered a "glass"of the Traminette $10. It was served in plastic cup. I did mention to the server that it should be in a "wine glass". She poured the wine from the plastic cup into the glass. (At this point, the plastic negatively affects wine by altering its taste, aroma, and overall quality). I'm sure "management" has given instructions to their employees on how to serve wine flights etc... So I'm not faulting the servers. During our visit, we shared a chicken sandwich. It was very good. All the servers behind the counter were very courteous and sweet. My issue is with the management. I don't know what happened from a couple years ago to now, maybe management change? My photos from almost 3 years ago, show the flight served in glasses, not plastic. Anyway, we did have a very nice visit despite the issue with the plastic. The grounds of the vineyards are very nice to walk about. We did walk back to the original wine tasting building. It was totally refurbished from our original visit. A large picturesque tree stump parking lot is in front of the winery. Oceane Vineyards has a lot of wonderful potential. Some of their wines we thought were good. In fact, we purchased a very nice bottle of 2017 Riesling $30.00. I would've given the winery a higher score, if the flight and glass of wine weren't in plastic.

The tasting room is easy to miss as it's in a house in the back, and felt like we stumbled upon a hidden gem as most people were out by the barn. We arrived before sunset and enjoyed sipping on a flight of 6 wines while watching the sun go down. The views are scenic and serene...one can imagine almost being transported to the hills of Italy. As it was the cusp of twilight, what was really neat was that we got to see the sunset on one side and the moonrise on the other. For our flight, we tried the following wines: Whites: 1. NY Hibernette 2. Cali Chardonnay 3. Riesling Reds: 1. California Rosé 2. California Pinot Noir 3. Cali Cabernet Sauvignon The rosé was probably my favorite, so clear and fragrant, and we took a bottle home. John who I think is the manager (guy with shaved head and goatee) was very personable and came by to check on the customers and chat, and told us a bit about the history of the place. The property is 200 acres and is a passionate project of the owner Tom. There is lots of space for littles to run around and explore, with some games and toys set out for kids. The atmosphere is relaxed but lively, and there was a band playing. The rustic aesthetic of the barn is very cool, with several stalls to hang out in if you wanted to retreat to a more private space, and an event hall upstairs. We got nibblish toward the end of the evening and the kitchen was about to close, but they were kind to still take the orders of a couple of late stragglers like us. The food is typical bar fare, good enough for sopping up alcohol. Staff were all kind, welcoming, and accommodating. 5 stars for the fantastic atmosphere, hospitality, and experience. Located near Sugar Loaf and Warwick NY, with plenty to do in the area!

We went here on a random Wednesday afternoon so we basically had the orchard to ourselves. The first parking lot you see is for their store, you have to keep driving up for the u-pick orchard. There you check in to pay your admission fee, get your wristband, and get your apple picking bag(s). They give you a map where the ripe apples are highlighted for you. My favorite apples were the honeycrisp and snap dragons. They grow vegetables too but honestly we didn't explore the orchard that much (it was huge) so the only other thing I picked besides apples was a tomato, which I felt like was pretty difficult to find a good one. I handed out the apples to other friends and colleagues and they all liked them! There's something different about picking the apple straight off the tree than the apples you would normally just buy at a grocery store. It's a lot crispier when you pick them yourself! The store has apple cider doughnuts! Now being that I am a Californian where we don't have this apple picking culture, I was wondering what all the hype around apple cider doughnuts was about. NOW I GET IT they're so good! Unfortunately since we went on a weekday the doughnuts weren't fresh (they make them fresh on the weekends) so some of them were stale, but most were still good. It's honestly more of a cake than a doughnut, but so good! The doughnuts are self serve towards the back. The store also had a cat on the prowl haha We ended up not even having time to visit the petting zoo, but overall I think my colleagues had a good time here and I would recommend this orchard for anyone trying to have a no frills apple picking experience. I believe there was like a building restroom closer to the store and port o potties closer to the u-pick orchard.

The apple cider donuts are a must-try! We came on a winter day few days after Christmas and they had free samples of apple cider. I got some tea and honey to bring back home to FL. I also bought some apples and they were so soft inside and juicy. Unlike any other apple I've had. I wish I had a way to bring the Amish butter home since a family member has it in their home I often have it with bread in the morning. The staff were friendly, and everything was well-organized. Heads up It's a bit busy during peak times, but that's to be expected at a popular place. But when we came on a Saturday they were practically empty and lady made a joke not to come on the weekends so I assume normally it's a busy day or they dedicate it to stocking up since when we came I saw about 3 of the staff unboxing stuff. Overall, a really enjoyable experience with a charming atmosphere. I'll definitely be coming back next season!
