I'm super surprised I've never reviewed this Torrid, as I've been coming to shop here for many years. I like the employees that work here. I've never had a bad experience. Everyone has always been super friendly and helpful. I appreciate that they set up fitting rooms for you while you shop but they also leave you alone if you just want to browse. The store is well organized and pretty clean. The newer styles will be near the front and then it moves back into the clearance and intimates. I love finding "finds" in the clearance section, sometimes you can get a super good deal. The only thing I think that can be worked on is the fitting rooms. They need an update because they look really run down and smell really weird. It's hard to try on clothes when you desperately don't want to touch the ground, walls or bench. read more

I've shopped at multiple Torrid locations since the brand was born. While I do like the fashion diversity of the brand and the size inclusion, I cannot recommend this specific location. The mall is great, but the staff here are outright offensive and discriminatory towards customers. I had a great experience midweek picking up an online order and I took advantage of the additional discount for buying additional items while I was there. Today, the store manager decided it was prudent to eavesdrop on a private conversation I was having with my disabled daughter. This "store manager" made outrageous claims and threatened to inform her district manager about me. This same "store manager" refused to provide even her first name. The issue was that the so called manager was demanding the other associate to help customers while she stood behind the counter appearing to not be doing anything. While waiting in line another customer jumped the line and this "manager" helped them without any delay. When my daughter looked at me questioning what was happening we began talking. The associate ordered to help customers was struggling with basic tasks such as inputting a customer phone number for their rewards program. She was friendly, but slow and appeared to need additional training. Training, service, and the issues my daughter and I observed were discussed while waiting for the associate to retrieve my paid order. My primary concern is the disrespectful behavior and unprofessionalism of this supposed nameless manager. Not only did I call her out for discrimination when she claimed it was acceptable for her to interrupt our conversation, but also claim I was being loud. Perhaps a loud whisper is her definition of loud, but when my daughter has multiple disabilities including hearing loss, this "manage" is discriminating against the customers of the store. Then to threaten to tattle about my concern to her DM is just comical. I'd LOVE to speak to her DM! 0/5 stars. I would never recommend this location due to this middle aged blonde "manager" and her behavior. I will not shop this location ever again. I am debating canceling my store card and never spending one more dollar at any Torrid location as this attitude seems embedded into the culture there. read more

Size 16 here. I like the choices. Return policy sucks whe you can't send back shoes to the store. But that's ok. I want torrid to find clothes that look good .dont just make them because a color or something is in style. Anyways I the high rise stretch denim are amazing. The girls are nice. Friendly. This store used to be top notch but there has been a decline in the past year. For example, Yesterday I went in to pick up an order and there was someone being rung at the register, but she was still going back to racks trying to decide on something. Rather than the sales person telling her that she would set her stuff to the side, she just stood there awkwardly without addressing me waiting. Then the woman finally came back and brought nothing else but then the associate told her she reached the deal for something free and the shopper went back to shopping! Just left her stuff at the register and went back to search hung the racks! Incredibly rude that she didn't notice someone waiting behind her but what's worse is the salesperson who didn't tell her that she would ring her up when she's ready. Finally after an awkward 5-7 min, she finally addressed me for my pickup. She went and got it and came back and as she handed my item to me, she said sorry for the wait. I was pretty peeved that both women had no sense of awareness. I have worked in retail before and it's not difficult to communicate with shoppers. I'm probably going to start picking up my orders from a different Torrid. This one lacks customer service skills. read more

I love this Torrid! The girls in here are always so helpful and friendly. The clothes are organized and the store is always very clean. It is easy to find stuff even in the crazy clearance items LOL. The girls that work at the store have amazing customer service skills and always make sure we're taking care of. I frequently visit this Torrid store in particular because of the customer service. Torrids prices are a bit on the pricey side but if you go during a good sale you can get your money's worth. I recommend this Torrid in particular to anyone that has a hard time finding clothes because the girls in the store will help you and make you feel super comfortable ! read more

I guess I wasn't good enough to be greeted, despite the store being almost empty and walking past/through the three crazy-haired female employees multiple times and standing dead in front of the register just to see if they actually would look up. They finally did look up, but didnt say anything. Maybe I didn't look like I belonged there, but it was a long day of shopping and finding nothing, so after seeing the words like "inclusive" etc. on their signage outside, I thought "yay!" but, nope. I am a regular shopper at Torrid, I've had "Diva Status" since like 2009, and also have a credit card with Torrid. I used to visit the Boulevard Mall location before this location opened up. I'm happy to say that my overall experiences at this location have been GREAT! The store is clean and organized and the workers are helpful and kind 90% of the times that I've gone. What I appreciate most is the selection of clothes in my size and large bra and panty section. I have noticed that staff turnover is common so I don't see the same staff members more than twice between my visits. When the store is busy I have a harder time getting into a fitting room. Now they're keeping a clothing rack in the hall of the fitting rooms which makes it difficult to walk in and out of the fitting room to use the mirror. But again, overall I'm a very happy customer. I was brand new to torrid and at the time had a great experience. wonderful customer service at only 1 location in town the other one sucks. Bought 3 bras, way over priced for the quality. Bought them feb.27th. The store let me exchange 2 after they broke. Now my 3rd bra that I bought in February just broke. Underwire pops out like crazy. I can get better bras at walmart that last longer. Bras usually last me 6plus months with out a single problem. Torrid bras I've gone through3 now. I'm beyond mad!!!!!! Only reason I gave it a 1 star is for the customer service is great at the boulevard mall location. read more

My daughter told me about Torrid. When I first went there, I was amazed at the wonderful styles they had, not all boxy and had some femininity in them, making you feel beautiful. The staff is always helpful, and nice as well. It's always busy, and no wonder. It might seem a little expensive, but the coupons they send always help out quite a lot. October of 2018 I purchased several items and at the time of purchase I was talked into opening a Torrid credit account. Within three weeks all items were returned to Torrid and "credited" back to my account. Here it is three months later, four disputes, erroneous adverse credit reports against me all because my account was never credited the $136.00. The question is; who is the thief? Comenity bank has been absolutely no help, I have made several calls disputing the issues. They have visibility and can see the discrepancies but tell me that I HAVE TO PROVE THE MERCHANDISE WAS RETURNED. Seriously? You have the same information in front of you In addition to this review, and I encourage all of you who have experienced issues under the fair credit reporting act to write to the Attorney General's Office. The girls always greet everyone when they come in. They are helpful and listen to my needs and when they don't know a question instead of immediately saying "no" or they don't have it they ask someone or look it up, which I really appreciate. The store is clean too, they could use more of a selection on sizes but with the great customer service I receive I don't even mind it. read more
