    Spicy Salmon Bowl
    Lauren P.

Literally the most scrumptious poke bowl I have ever had. Got the spicy salmon bowl and it was packeddd. Lots of fish and toppings (pineapple, cucumber, corn, edamame, seaweed salad, fried onions, scallions). The sauce was good but just a little too much. I would probably ask for a little less sauce the next time I'm back. It is a little pricey ($16-17) but honestly, it was probably the best bowl I've had so I think it's worth it. The shop has tables and a little bar to sit at but it seems more like a takeout spot.

I have two words for you guys -- poke bowl! This small, but cozy, shop on the corner of Deer Park Ave is home to some of the most deliciously fresh poke on Long Island. (And, I mean, Babylon does has coastal energy, so why not?) I recently customized my own poke bowl with this glorious order -- Ahi Tuna, white sushi rice, seaweed salad, sesame seeds, avocado, edamame, carrots, cucumbers, pineapple (for the Hawaiian vibes), spicy mayo, and a sesame soy vinaigrette. The tuna was SO smooth, and the entire bowl felt like it was just what I needed for some self-care. (Gotta love self-care, right?!) In the past, I've also sampled their pork belly bun (yum) and a rice bowl with marinated ground pork that was most definitely bringing the flavor. They also offer assorted ramen specialities that seem quite appealing for the wintry season as well. This is definitely a spot to return to in a village that always makes me happy. (Babylon for the win!)

Wow just wow! So happy this place has poke bowls now, too. I have always loved their ramen and thought it was flavorful, full of toppings, and cheap. Now I get to say the same about their delicious poke bowls! This place may not be big but who cares when their food is so unique and wonderful? I always do to go and always opt for the vegan version of their dishes. So happy I live so close and can support this business frequently especially in these hot summer months where I don't want to eat something hot and want something healthy!

So glad I tried this place Their broth for their noodles is amazing! I had the shrimp tempura & although I thought the shrimp was a bit greasy the broth had tons of flavor !! the plate overall was perfect as a whole My husband had the ninja, the spicy broth too was also so good! He enjoyed the rest of the ramen We tried the Karagee chicken on a bun (we never had that!) the bun is an acquired taste but the mix of the soft bun, crunchy chicken and fresh cucumber all together was so good! Definitely would recommend & come back

Pretty good. Not great, but suited the bill. Something about chilly weather that leaves me hankering for soup & sandwiches. Even if that soup is Ramen & the sandwich is a fluffy steamed bun stuffed with pork belly. The takoyaki could've used a bit more octopus but otherwise was very good. The ramen noodles needed to be a little more toothsome for me and the broth could've used some depth. But for a quick hit meal it's perfect. I'd definitely order again. 12-1-2021

Placed a big group order from this place for about 15 of us and most of us enjoyed our food. My poke bowl order was incorrect, not the biggest deal in the world but I didn't love my food and I'll explain why. I asked for the peppered tuna bowl with mixed greens. I did make a substitution and asked for no onion crisps. It came with onion crisps, which sucked because of how small they were, I couldn't take them off, they were scattered everywhere throughout the bowl. The peppered tuna was awesome, the highlight of the bowl for sure. I thought the seasoning was great and it tasted so fresh. I couldn't eat anything besides the tuna because all of the other ingredients tasted like oil, cooking oil. The seaweed salad tasted like oil, the lettuce in the mixed greens, oily, edamame, sweet corn, it was just very difficult for me to eat. The pineapple was out of a can and once I realized that I just gave up on the bowl and stuck to the tuna. I don't know what kind of cooking oil they use so for all I know it was canola and that's the last thing I want excess of in a bowl of food. It was like oil salad dressing but I asked for no sauce. Anyways, maybe this was a fluke, I'm not sure. Definitely fresh tuna though and I know the other people liked their food so check it out if you're into poke bowls and ramen.

It was a cold rainy day, so we thought a nice warm bowl of ramen would be perfect for dinner. We've been to this establishment once before a few months ago while they had a street fair on this street. My sister went in to get a rice bowl and this place was super crowded. I was excited to try their ramen because the other ramen places nearby were super expensive around $17+ the most expensive ramen at this place was $14 so it was within our budget. We got there around 7pm and parking in the parking lot in the back. There's plenty of parking, and you don't have to pay after 6pm. There was no other customers in there when we walked in. It was a cute looking place. They don't have any servers there, so they told us to just order at the front and they would bring us our food. We ordered the fried oysters, chicken karage shoyu ramen, ninja ramen, and burnt garlic Tonkatsu ramen. Then we sat down at our table to wait. Within like 5-10 mins they brought out all the food. I was so impressed. They prepared all the food very quickly! The food was also really steamy hot! The oysters were crispy, and succulent, the chicken karage was also super crispy. The noodles were cooked perfectly having a little chew and not being too soft. The broth was so hot and flavorful. The pork on the ramen was sliced thinly, and perfectly marinated. The soft boiled egg had so much flavor. Omg it was so good. It also had this fragrance from maybe rice wine? That gave it such depth of flavor. The aroma from it seeped into the bowl. I highly recommend using the condiments they give you at the table. I added some chili paste to my noodles and it just made them taste even better! I highly recommend this place. Next time I want to try the takoyaki and maybe a poke bowl.

It was cold and rainy. I had spent time outside in the gross weather. Wanted some soup and some spice to warm up. Yelp brought me here. After looking at the menu, I decided on spicy chicken ramen and shrimp tempura. I called and placed my order for pick-up. After picking up my order, the yummy aroma filled my car. I couldn't wait to get back to work to dig in and enjoy. Although the chicken ramen was spicy, it could have had a bit more spice. It was absolutely delicious though! Flavors danced on my tongue. I enjoyed every bite and every slurp. Portion was huge! Could have easily made two meals out of it. I am still thinking about this meal as I write my review. Shrimp tempura was great too. Lightly fried and the tempura batter was light and not at all greasy. Prices were reasonable. They also offer poke bowls. I would absolutely return and try more yummyness!

Great ramen for a great price! This local spot is a hidden gem, I ordered the Tonkatsu Ramen and everything about it was great, the broth, the noodle texture & the meat. I have been here a couple times already and will be stopping by again soon!

    Karaage Chicken Curry Ramen

Since you're wondering... I'm fairly new to the ramen wave but this is one of the best places I've tried for ramen! The appearance of the restaurant is a bit misleading for how great the food is! They have a good selection for ramen which is great for a picky eater like me, the service is ALWAYS great, and their flavors are divine. When I come, I always get the Karaage Chicken Curry Ramen, and add chili oil to make it spicy. I've ordered this from other places and still would say this one is the best. I reallyyyy like the fact that the chicken's batter remains in tact while you're eating, even though it is sitting in the broth. Speaking of broth, this curry is so flavorful! I have also tried their Karaage Chicken Bun. It has the same chicken from the ramen, which I love, clearly, and has a sauce that really sets the whole thing off. The ramen even travels well for when I don't have time to dine in. Highly recommend!

Maybe this place should be renamed to O.M.G Ramen! Because one bite, and you'll say "OMG, This is…read moredelicious!" Sal, the owner, is just an all around fantastic person who is crazy passionate about serving the best quality food with the best quality ingredients that are good for you and good for your soul. No seed oils, artificial colors or flavors here. YESSSS. This is my kinda place, and my kiddo loves it too. They have the Little G's \which gives you options for rice bowls and ramen but my son always gets the ramen here. He subs out the egg for some veggies and he is happy as can be. I've gotten the vegan ramen a bunch of times now and Sal is fantastic about making it to your preference. Want it spicy? No problem. Want more red peppers? You're covered. The broth is rich and flavorful. Although it is a bit more than maybe another ramen place, I've been able to get two meals out of my bowl every time I've come here, and that makes it plenty worth it for me. The restaurant itself is bright and clean. Plenty of tables if you want to dine in and enjoy the village. OG is the type of place you come as a customer and leave as a friend.

It's a small place in Babylon close to the train but there were plenty of seats. I got the keto and added noodles (I liked what was in it) and we also got the classic which was with chicken as the protein and a lighter, slightly citrusy broth. Both ramens were really good and they food came out quickly. They also have a kids menu, either a ramen bowl or rice bowl with choice of protein. They offer both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, a couple different kinds of Japanese beers and some sakes as well as sodas and juices. Great spot for a quick bite!
