    Chicken BLT (huge/ good!!)
    Patty P.

for starters I don't eat red meat so I would of never walked into this place ... My husband wanted a chicken blt (I tasted the chicken!) & it was so good, so fresh, perfectly breaded I had the macaroni salad it was good but too tangy for my taste I also had the cheesy potato with Mac and cheese balls & I loved it ... definitely would come back for the side items ... Staff was very nice They were super busy, call ahead if you can (if they answer I tried!) but line went pretty quick

After cooking, the meat was so silky and soft.

Personal service with a smile. My husband was craving some beef bone-in short ribs. These are hard to find at a regular supermarket. The first time I stopped in they were sold out. But the butcher said to call and he'll hold them on the side for me. They were bagged and ready for me on my next visit. Excellent quality of meat, so fresh and they cooked up marvelously. Melted like butter in our mouths. Also Babylon Village Meat Market is a supporter of local community groups. Their generosity is greatly appreciated.

Had another incredible experience at Babylon Village Meat Market! This time, we knew to cut back on the amount of skirt steak because last time was too much. The steaks were just as good as last time if not better. Let the pictures do the talking!!

Don Corleone sandwich: chicken cutlet, fresh mozzarella, marinara sauce, locatelli cheese, on a Brooklyn semolina hero. Not too bad . . .

Don Corleone Sandwich Chicken cutlet, fresh mozzarella, marinara sauce, locatelli cheese, Brooklyn semolina hero. Chicken wasn't too bad, but it could have been a little moister in texture. Also, I don't recall the locatelli cheese being in the flavor profile when I ate the sandwich. I still enjoyed it nonetheless, just not as much as the other sandwiches I've had from BVMM.

Love their lunch menu. Several options and very attentive staff. My go to is option A off of the panini menu.

Never knew turkey could taste so good on a sandwich. Kind of expensive but size of sandwich makes it worthwhile.

The cocktail hour was beyond our expectations--the raw bar was fabulous, and Lenny's homemade bacon is unreal.

There was a jazz band playing which enhanced the atmosphere. Baked clams, crab cake, calamari were all terrific starters. This was followed by the Ribeye and Beef Wellington which were both delicious and perfectly prepared. Our waiter was very helpful and informative and a credit to the establishment. It's a nice location for an upscale experience. For what you get, the prices are reasonable as well. Would go back.

Came on a Thursday unfortunately, this was a major miss for me. The ambiance was nice and the…read moreservice was good, but the food was a total letdown. At nearly $600 for three people, I expected a lot more. The raw clams were some of the smallest I have ever been served, yet they had the audacity to charge $3 per clam. Same type of clams for the baked style as well so 2 terrible dishes off to start. Honestly, I would have been embarrassed to send portions like that out of the kitchen. The lamb chops I ordered were also shockingly small. The Chilean sea bass my girlfriend had was actually good and probably the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, the steak my friend ordered was the complete opposite. It was extremely salty, and the supposed 24 ounce cut certainly did not look like 24 ounces of meat. The bone was impressively thick, but the actual meat was noticeably thinner than the bone. Not exactly what you expect when ordering a 24 ounce steak. The drinks were not much better. The martini we had at the bar was incredibly weak, and the caviar bump served from the cart was tiny and, frankly, underwhelming in quality. Service was good and the space has a nice atmosphere, and the live jazz was a nice touch but ultimately, you go to a steakhouse for the food, and that is where this experience completely fell apart. Nearly $600 for three people for food that was this inconsistent? Absolutely not worth it.
