I've been here several times and over the course of time the quantity and quality of the food has not been the same. The prices are outrageous and they no longer serve the same amount of food. I was also highly disappointed to know the food isn't freshly made when ordered. They only accept cash which is such an inconvenience. The service is just okay. Also I would like to share some notes as well. 1 being needs improvement, 10 being excellent Parking: 2.5 /10 had to park on the street. Outside appearance: 6.7/10 older buildings and could use some touch ups. Inside appearance: 7.6/10 benches were clean, condiment station was clean Staff service: 6.6/10 staff was basic.order taken easily and correct. Nothing more nothing less. Food and restaurant experiance notes: food was delicious. Big torta sandwiches that are going to take the hungry animal in you to finish. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! They will kill you and not care. I have a severe dairy allergy and put no cheese on my order...not only did it come with cheese but, when I called to fix the problem they woman on the other end did not care. She was more worried about getting her tortas back then fixing the problem. I told her she was more than welcome to come pick them up because they were not eaten, but there was a reason I ordered for delivery i had no access to a car. She hung up multiple times and nothing was done as of yet. We will see if they follow up with the promise of a refund but, I won't hold my breath. I will however be contacting the health department first thing tomorrow morning. "Edit" I up my rating from one star to 3. Because the gentleman that describes himself as the owner kept his word and delivered a refund and apologized for the treatment from his employees. I won't eat there again because it left a bad taste in my mouth so to speak but hopefully you guys have a better time. The reason why I'm giving this place 2 stars is because the 2 Carnitas tacos and Horchata were good but that's it! We were sooo disappointed because on IG everything looks so good and we were expecting way too much. Of course pics on IG look better but common dry meat? And many missed ingredients on one of the Tortas. I got the birria torta and the bread was really good and the beans but other than that the meat was so dry I couldn't even chew it. My friend got the " the lambada" which is supposed to come with Meat,cheese,fries and I believe a chipotle looking sauce. They only added 1 French fry (not joking) no sauce and No panela cheese only the grilled one onto the bread. We understand things happen but it wasn't even worth our drive and time. Not to mention the service from the girl that helped us was really bad she had an attitude. Anyway don't think we'll be returning. Maybe it was just our luck? Who knows. Tried this spot about 2 yrs ago. After driving past this spot for about 2 years I finally went in. Ordered two burritos and some nacho fries. I can't say it was that great. Meat had no real flavor. Wow! The tortas were delish! Went on a Thursday, not a big line which was good because we were hungry! I like that you order once you step in atm is located right next to there (cash only or zelle). We ordered a Milanesa Torta & La Lambada Torta, and also one carnitas taco to try. They also have a salsa bar, with onions, cilantro, radishes, and a good variety of different salsas. The wait wasn't very long to get the food at all maybe 10 minutes maybe a little less. The ladies in there were really nice, and were playing some good music too. I also got a limon paleta, also very good. Got the tortas to go. Hurried home, each Torta was in it's own separate bag. Mine was labeled they were wrapped in foil and cut in half on plates super nice and neat. Oh man the taste though! Five Stars well deserved! The bread was perfectly toasted, bursting with great flavor was the asada and chorizo combo, the tomato and queso fresco gave it a fresh balance they also put lots of ripe avocado also. The fries in there soaked up all the yummy salsa I added in. Milanesa Torta was super great too. But my fave was the Lambada Torta. We will definitely return, and recommend to friends. This spot definitely has some Chingona tortas !! I had to share half with my mom because they are so big and filling. I had La Hawaiian and it had good flavors . They have a few other options on the menu to choose from. My brother had La D.F. and he said it was also good. They have a variety of salsas if you like spicy food. I did see that they sell menudo on Saturday and Sunday only so will have to come back and try that. The prices run from 10-18 dollars depending on the torta that you choose. CASH ONLY!! Everything but the kitchen sink can be found in there. Ham, bacon, chorizo, beef, sausage, and cheeses among a few other ingredients. The sandwich was simply dry and salty. The pictures looked great, the prices not so much but the tortas looked pretty big and I could share with my bf so we went ahead and tried it. I think we got the chilanga not 100% sure if that was the name but it had jamón, queso fundido, milanesa, and pierna i believe. The torta was big definitely have to use two hands to hold it and eat but to me the size isn't what's most important it's the flavors of the food. This torta was honestly the worst one I've ever had the meat had no flavor and no I don't have covid I verified by having some delicious food later that day. The cheese wasn't melted the bread had no mayo no sauce of any kind. I was extremely disappointed we ended up throwing away one full half of the torta because it wasn't good at all we paid $18 for it and it wasn't even worth $5. The hot sauces are awful too I hate to leave bad reviews for moms and pops shops but it was horrible. So I've been here before. And the tortas are very good. They are huge and good price for the size. My only complaint is that we were there yesterday & the girl taking my order was so rude. We would ask a question & she would nod her head & rolled her eyes. She had a terrible attitude. There was a number you can call & complaint but I didn't get the number. I understand when you have to get a job even if you don't like it but it is not the customers fault. We didn't come in there with an attitude. We came there friendly and we did our best to not have to ask questions. At the end I didn't give them 5 stars for that. I believe they need to work on customer service. The lady who cooked the food was actually nice but the one who customers have to deal with was not and that's a turn off. I hope she gets it together and starts to have a decent attitude. read more
