The simplest menu I've ever seen lol There are 4 types of tacos - asada, cheeks, brains and lips. I ordered 7 asada and one of each other flavors. I liked the cheeks and the lips the best! I also liked that they have a fresh salad bar. Each taco is $2.5 which is very reasonable. The service was fast as well. I got my food in a matter of 5 min or less. I would come back when I'm in the area.

This place is amazing as always. Asada tacos are on point. The service is fast and friendly. And the Dining area is very clean. Busy but not crazy loud. You got try both sauces the red is hot and delicious. Will be back next time am in the area for sure.

Small and simple menu, but sometimes simple is best. They have cabeza (beef head), labio (beef lip), cachete (beef cheek) and asada. The asada is a little dry and the labio is a little too fatty for me but what I like doing is taking the bottom tortilla off and then mixing the different meats on that tortilla, giving it a unique textured taco. They are generous with the meat so it's almost as if I'm able to get a couple extra tacos by separating the tortillas. Because the meat is steamed, it's very juicy and flavorful. Not to mention how fast they get out the order. Easily one of my favorite taco spots; I eat here every other week!

Service was very friendly and fast, and the place was very clean as well with a lot of seating areas. Not your traditional tacos- tortillas are steamed and there's only four choices of meat. Menu is pretty limited- they don't have anything else but 4 types of tacos, horchata, and flan. I ordered 4 carne asada tacos, they were pretty good but their meat is also shredded which I personally don't like. Overall, place is pretty good if you like your meat shredded and tortillas steamed- I personally don't, hence the 3 stars. Horchata was very good!

This spot has bombbbb tacos!!! They steam their tortillas and all of the meat is so tender. They only serve four cuts of meat, that's how you know it's good. I tried each meat, labio (lips), cachete (cheek), cabeza (head), and asada. My favorite was definitely the labio and cachete! They were both of tender and the labio was the perfect mix of tender and fattyness. This place gets busy but they make your tacos quick!! Tables fill up quick but they're constantly opening up.

tl:dr: 4.5 Stars ~ get cabeza, cachete and labio. The latter 2 is my favorite. 75 cents credit charge. If this is how tacos taste like in Mexico, I would believe it. One of the best al vapor taco shop in the area. If you like steamed meats that melt in your mouth, you've at the right place. $2.50 each taco, priceless flavor. Asada isn't really something I'd get here because I'm at an al vapor spot lol. Nicely chopped, good flavor, not dry. It reminds me of taco truck/restaurants that doesn't use the steak-like bite of cut. Cabeza is what most people come for, and for a good ass reason. Finely chopped, almost like minced meat, reminds me of meat fillings in bakery. So most cabeza at taco stands are cooked in the vat of oil, which is delicious on its own but the collagen still is separate from the meat. This spot has it all finely chopped and mixed with the meaty part. Succulent and melty, so easy to eat. Good salt level already (saltier than cachete & asada). Blast it with extra lime is the way to go. ~~You come to this spot to try the cuts other places don't have: cachete and labio. Cachete is the meatiest of them all; salty-sweet, a savory combo that reminds me of braised meat. Not finely chopped like cabeza, the grains of meat are still visible~ and it is so tender. Damn delicious, I'd eat it over rice, in a tortilla, salad, etc. It's such a great protein base. Perfect salt level, just need a dash of lime. Labio has a nice kiss to it; large slices, light on salt, heavy on collagen flavor, this is my favorite next to cachete. Each bite is juicy and melts in your mouth, really similar to tendon but softer. I like the texture a lot because of the slices instead of being finely chopped. Add some lime and salt for this, you'll know why after taking a bite. That being said, onto the rest. I like how they toast their tortilla with visible heat marks unlike some places where it's just kinda warmed up. Their salsa verde in the yellow bottle is very fresh and tasty with a great balance of salt, tang, and heat. The habanero salsa in the red bottle has an instant kick for those that want a bowel movement. Don't let the establishment's appearance fool you, this place is full of flavor.

    Cachete & asada.

Very bland. I wouldn't return. Many street tacos I've had were better. The space is large and the cashiers weren't the most welcoming.

Demanding as Mother's Day, when most places are overwhelmed, they still managed to deliver an experience that felt intentional and heartfelt. Despite the long wait, it was clear that the demand far exceeded expectations, yet the service never lost its warmth. At one point, she even offered me an agua fresca as a gesture of kindness while I waited. I respectfully declined, understanding that a day like Mother's Day comes with heavy volume and pressure, and that delays are simply part of supporting a small business doing its best under strain. What stood out most was the owner's presence. She carried herself like a mother to everyone there serving each customer as if they were family. She stepped away from her own personal time to make sure other families were fed and cared for. That kind of sacrifice and commitment is not just business; it's cultural preservation in motion. TACOZ brings authentic heritage flavors to the city in a way that feels irreplaceable. The tamales, carnitas, and overall food experience were deeply rooted in tradition and full of flavor that reflects generations of culture. People should understand that moments like this are not about convenience they are about supporting something real. On busy days especially, patience is part of respecting the work being done. Instead of criticism, there should be appreciation for what it takes to keep a small, culture-driven business alive and thriving. In the end, TACOZ delivered more than food. It delivered a connection to heritage, family, and community. That kind of experience is something worth valuing and protecting. Keep Going gurl ! I'll be back and so many of your audience ! One person doesn't bring down a team ! Thank You ! *Your food brought tears to my family knowing they will never be able to go back to Michoacán for several reason but was able to revisit them once more !
