Their tortillas are delicious. My Grandma found this place and likes it so, now we come here for our tortillas.

Great, fresh tortillas you can get a ton of misshapen ones for $1. The employees are really polite, lots of Mexican candy and candles!

I agree with the reviewer who said skip the bland, crumbly discs that pass as corn tortillas in the grocery store.

The specialty coffees and beverages (Rhubarb Green Tea!) accompany the elegance of the menu. Artichoke Danish is pictured with a Boston Cream Pastry. But we seriously crave the exquisite Roman style "pizza" on focaccia, and the home-made grahams. While it is a walk-up shop, there are usually a couple available stools outside to enjoy your purchase on site. You can tell the staff are also in love with the menu - they are so friendly and knowledgable and happy to talk about their favorites, too. This is a business obviously grown from passion. We ADORE Burque Bakehouse.

I ordered many treats for myself and bestie. One pastry that caught my eye was the classic butter croissant dough with activated charcoal, glazed blood oranges, and blood orange curd. I'm not sure if this is only a seasonal item. The colors are beautiful! It was quite sweet, however the blood orange tartness aided in the flavors giving it a bit of tartness. The Boston Cream Cruffin looked mighty tasty. It's made with their signature croissant dough rolled up and filled with vanilla pastry cream and dipped in dark chocolate ganache. I'm having this for dessert tonight. Pumpkin bread Jam bun Espresso machine where they craft yummy drinks. I ordered an iced americano.

I was greeted…read moreimmediately by multiple employees, and the guy at the counter was incredibly friendly and personable. He even joked that they were "out of everything," which got a laugh and set a fun, relaxed tone. The music was rocking when I walked in, which I loved, although it eventually switched to something a little more mellow. Still, the overall atmosphere was inviting and made me want to stick around. I ordered an Iced Americano, and it was solid. You can tell they use quality espresso, but I personally would have liked it just a bit stronger. Next time, I'll probably ask for an extra shot to make it perfect for my taste. The real standout was the cinnamon roll. It had the ideal texture with a gooey, cinnamon-filled center, and they certainly didn't skimp on the cream cheese frosting. There was enough frosting to induce a sugar overdose, in a good way. The shop itself was clean, comfortable, and designed to make you want to stay awhile. They have a huge selection of board games and LEGO sets, so you could easily spend a couple of hours hanging out with friends or family. I also asked about the stage and learned they host karaoke and open mic nights a couple of evenings each week, which adds another fun reason to come back. Between the genuinely friendly staff, quality coffee, incredible cinnamon roll, and welcoming atmosphere, this is a place I'll definitely be visiting again.

So happy to see it back, not the full menu or hours yet, but still great and doing great work…read more Love having my hidden gem of a workspace back! Good coffee good grav and go burtitos good sandwiches etc...
