It was 9:30am on Tuesday and the tire on the vehicle I'm taking care of was flat once again when it had to be moved for off sides parking. I had my own air compressor to pump it up as much as possible, but knew the tire needed replacement based on cracks in the rubber and it running flat frequently. I also knew I couldn't afford brand new tires at $170-$300 each. I wasn't sure if the tire could or even should be repaired based on how cracked and old it seemed, and the shop agreed it wasn't likely to hold a repair, so I asked about used tire replacement. They said they could do used tires for around $55 each. That was with installation, which they did very quickly on the street in about 15-20min. I was so glad they had tires in stock and were able to come in at a price that I could afford on the spot, as well as doing the job quickly. The used tires aren't guaranteed for any mileage or returnable, as stated in their shop signage, but they will issue a credit or replacement within a short period (undefined on any document) if the tire doesn't hold up. They didn't really do balancing or alignment checks at that price that I could tell, but they did install the tires and take the old ones in less than 30min. I was obviously a budget request for tire replacement and they took good care of me as a budget client in an efficient way at a price that was reasonable and affordable. Cash and credit were accepted.

They advertise…read morethemselves as a "complete foreign & domestic repair shop," but when I asked about an engine replacement, the mechanic said they don't do that at this location. Fine--that's their choice. I already have a better shop and is replacing my engine they maybe thought I was broke or who knows but anyway way the real issue is that after leaving my car, several of my personal belongings disappeared. Guest what they did, they left my car in the street for a few days without any consent or like if my money isn't worth anything. I lost two toolboxes worth over $500, Ray-Ban sunglasses ($200), my EZ Pass, charging cables/adapters, perfume, clothes from my backpack, also a head unit that was in green box and more. On top of that, I paid their diagnostic fee (which I don't mind since that's part of their job), but when it comes to my missing belongings, I'm the one who takes the loss. It's been 3 days and I still haven't gotten a single answer or resolution from the shop. Items don't just vanish into thin air. The worst part is the complete lack of responsibility or concern from their side. The reviews may make this place look like a trustworthy shop and that's the reason I came here for, but my experience was the opposite. Be very careful leaving your car or belongings here, because once something goes missing, you're on your own.

My car needed an immediate fix due to a faulty battery. They could tell I was nervous and in a state of panic but they took great care of me. I felt like I knew them for a while. I wasn't given some bull shit sales pitch I was given an authentic experience. They listened to me and addressed my issue without conflict and were so helpful. The value I paid was amazing. For the communication, help, diagnostic, they took care of me! They eased my stress solved my issue and just were transparent. Thank you inwood Arc Automotive. But it was only to check a tire leak which they plugged 3mo ago. Gustavo assigned the job to a mechanic who couldn't find the issue. They told me there's no issue with the tire. So I mentioned to them that I've been filling the tire with air for the past week so I know there's something wrong. Gustavo proceeded to argue with me and claim that there's nothing wrong with the tire and that I should check it myself (I don't have to check it bc I fill it with air every morning!) After 15min of arguing I decided to leave and take the car elsewhere. The other garage I used found the leak immediately where Broadway Automotive originally plugged the tire. The garage I used showed me the issue before I approved the work needed to fix the leak. This experience tells me that Broadway Automotive is not capable of finding a leak on a tire that they originally plugged a few months prior. If they can't fix a tire, how are they qualified to fix other car related issues? Below is a recap of what others mentioned about their experience at Broadway Automotive: -Terrible customer service -Ignorant, disrespectful employees -Scam -Charges for things that doesn't need to be fixed. -Creates more issues then charges extra The reason they are still in business is likely due to the towing scam they have which involves cars that were involved in accidents and nearly totaled-several reviews complained about this scam. Not sure how Gustavo or any of the employees are still allowed to be employed in this country.

But, you'd be safe getting a PPI from him. I was purchasing a used car at a dealership on a Sunday. I called him that morning, and same day he was able to come in the morning to do the inspection. He was a good communicator too. Good stuff. Overall, I am glad he looked at the car. It helped us negotiate $2,500 off the purchase price, and I knew which issues had to be addressed. I brought it to my mechanic in Jersey City the next day, who agreed with 360 Mechanic that the rotors, brake pads, and tires needed to be replaced. His inspection entailed looking under the car, running the computer, and checking the engine. He correctly identified that the car needed new brake pads, rotors, and tires. His computer did a pretty thorough report and identified issues. He told me it was a good car with issues that could be addressed. However, he did not give me advice I would have liked: yes or no, about whether I should buy the car. He seemed concerned about appearing neutral to the dealership. He told me the car needed $1,600 of work. There are more thorough pre-purchase inspections available. I had one done at a shop in New Jersey for another vehicle I was considering. They did a whole battery of tests and thoroughly looked at everything. 360 didn't do that and didn't jack up the car to look thoroughly at the underbody. I had expected that type of work and was a little disappointed. You can find some dedicated services online, but you need to schedule them in advance. If you are in the Bronx on a Sunday looking at a car, like I was, you should seriously consider 360 for a pre-purchase inspection.
