My wife had inadvertently dropped my electric Braun Series 7 razor and it stopped working properly. After searching the Braun website and being frustrated on what to do to get it repaired I called Scott at Turnpike Total Appliance and he had my razor up and running with some helpful suggestions and excellent service. I was given the opportunity to either send it in for repair or order the parts necessary to repair it myself. Being a mechanical person I decided to heed his advice and order the part I needed. I encountered a little difficulty where the part that was ordered needed a little adjusting and had to be sent back. Ultimately is was taken care of for a reasonable price as Scott proved to be a results driven service businessman and absorbed the return shipping fee to insure my satisfaction. We just picked up our new Miele Upright Vacuum from them. There was seemingly the same problem with our old vacuum last week, after we had it serviced two months ago by them - it broke again - it was "not" doing the same thing. Scott told us he would sell us a new Miele Upright Vacuum at a big discount and he also!! took the money I paid for the old one to be fixed - off the discounted price! It was a great deal. From the first phone call, these guys were a help. Three years ago, I had called this place. I had a high end blender that was a bit older and in rough shape, The woman on the phone was very polite and personable and told me to bring it in. So in it went and the Scott the owner counter was a big help. Few days later, it was ready for pick up and worked like a charm. Fast forward a few years, few moves and few tenants later, it breaks again. Instead of repairing it this time, I chose to replace it. My Dyson needed a battery replacement so to avoid the hassle of reaching out to Dyson, I figured I'd buy a replacement on Amazon. After receiving the part, I attempted to switch out the batteries myself but quickly realized I might do more damage than good. A couple of days later, in my travels, I happened to pass by Total Appliance on Jericho Tpke. I decided to bring my vacuum and new battery pack there to see if they could save me a headache and install it for me. They were so incredibly nice and did it for me on the spot without even charging me! I will definitely use them again for small and large appliance repairs. We had an issue with a Pacojet in the restaurant likely due to long downtime from Covid. Trying to get back online and the unit would not power up. Downtime on an ice cream machine is a major problem and shipping this device away seemed like more trouble than it would be worth. I traded a few e-mails with Scott, the President, about the unit and then hopped on a call. Scott walked me through how to repair the machine from my kitchen table and test it to see if we could get back online before shipping. The whole call took 15 minutes and we are back online. Great experience at Turnpike Total Appliance! This is my second time going to this appliance store. A few months ago I needed a new handle for my vacuum & they had the part in stock. The young man that helped me was polite and Informative. Today I returned to purchase a replacement hose for my vacuum and they did not Have it in stock. They said that they could order me a new one, however, the owner Scott offered to try to fix my old hose first. To my surprise, Scott was able to fix the hose and he did it for free! I could not be more happy with the service i received from Turnpike Appliance. My Dyson vacuum hose wasn't having very good suction so I brought it into the store and they said this is an easy fix and it should take 2-3 days to complete. Total Appliance was AMAZING! My KitchenAid stand mixer bowl got stuck to the base. I was online trying everything I could. Cold water, hot water, WD-40, and lots of force! I needed a part (main circuit board) for my Riccar vacuum that turned out to be very difficult to find. Even Riccar listed the part as "sold out".
