T & D Heating and Cooling wired and serviced a brand new Mitsubishi mini-split system and branch…read morebox. I was forced to call them several times because the lines kept freezing up (see attached photo) it would not cool and the system would display a fault code. Despite my efforts explaining these problems, Thomas Holley (owner) & Graeme Chipperfield (tech) kept telling me there was nothing wrong... yet the system would never operate correctly. So I called Jacksonville Heating Contractors, several things were found wrong that T&D did; (1) the refrigerant was serviced wrong, (2) they did not pull the contamination out of the system and (3) the system was addressed wrong (see description on attached invoice). Several minutes after the Jacksonville tech left, the fault code came back. I called the tech and explained what was happening. He asked me to check the wiring at the branch box to see if the indoor units A & B were crossed. When I checked, (4) they were in fact crossed... I re-wired them and the the fault code disappeared. After all these corrections were made, the system has been operating without any problems, no line freezing, it cools/heats and no fault codes. I contacted T&D owners Thomas & Denise Holley several times asking for a "partial refund" from the $808.00 I paid them for the work they did wrong. I provided them with documentation from Jacksonville Heating Contractors and information from Mitsubishi Tech Support that identifies what they did was incorrect. But they refuse to even talk with me about this and take responsibility for the work they performed. T&D has shown no business ethics and the owners have no integrity to make this right. Beware!

Called around 8:20pm spoke to the answering service they took my information and advised someone would be calling me. Approximately 20 minutes later received a call from the technician and he told me that he would be there the next morning, he would call me when he was on the way. Technician called about 11am and said he was on the way. He arrived and diagnosed the issue and had the repair done in about an hour. Pricing was fair for an emergency call for service on a weekend. Will be signing up for their annual maintenance program.

He immediately recommend I contact Dan of One Hour H&AC Crystal Coast. Dan came out and within 2 minutes he recognized the system that he had serviced when we first moved in. He also showed me why the old system gave up the ghost this time and why a new system was financially a better choice. I asked him for a recommendation and the next day he recommended a new system, all costed out. He patiently explained all of the improvements of the last 16 yrs. And patiently answered all my questions to my satisfaction. The following day, He came back with a professional installation team like we had in the military. The biggest problem? We were worried about coordinating between them, a carpenter, plumber and painter. When Butch came, our worries were over. He told us that they would take care of everything, and they did. Memorial Day was coming up and we had family coming in but Butch assured us that it would be ready when they arrived. True to his word, it was ready for our company. Once the repair was finished, we were unable to tell that we had ever had a leak. I only have high praise for the crew that did the work. They did an excellent job of the repair including matching the paint which was a custom color and of making sure everything was as good as the original. I also have high praise for the crew that did the cleanup after construction. Everything (decorations, lamps and accessories) were cleaned and placed back in the position that we had them. The quotes we were given were fair and easy to understand. The total for the repairs were actually less than we had expected. We were totally satisfied with the cost and the work performed. Butch and Liz were excellent and a pleasure to work with. Both were very helpful throughout our repair. We are very glad that we chose Pro Environmental for our repairs. We very strongly recommend them for any problem that you may have.
