Requested AC service on a Friday night, we got down to our place at Indian Beach it was not working properly. Called around 8:20pm spoke to the answering service they took my information and advised someone would be calling me. Approximately 20 minutes later received a call from the technician and he told me that he would be there the next morning, he would call me when he was on the way. Technician called about 11am and said he was on the way. He arrived and diagnosed the issue and had the repair done in about an hour. Pricing was fair for an emergency call for service on a weekend. Requested a estimate in May 2025 my unit at Atlantic Beach probably was going to have to be replaced. So a tech was on the way from a call and they said he would stop by. He did so and just got the numbers off the unit to know what to price for a replacement. Couple of days a email sent to give us a estimate and seem a little more than we needed to spend. So we got another estimate which was a 1000 lower so we gave the job to another Heating and cooling company. So in a month we received a charge (service call i assume) for coming bye, a month later a second bill. So i went to their Company website and it plainly states no charge for replacement estimates. I email and talked to the Manager also, not willing to remove the 95 dollar charge. Now turn me over to collections. Not a company that stands by there word, or their promise. J.Dickens read more

They installed a 3 ton unit in2017. I've not had any problems .We decided to have them install a Mini Split in an attic bedroom last week. They gave us a price and we decided to let them do it.Said they wood order parts and see is on two weeks.They actually got here sooner and did an excellent, clean looking job.Our neighbor in the meantime was having some work done by another company so I asked them to come over and price an install.There price was 3x more!!!!! They replaced the AC unit in my attic. Months later they came out when it dripped in the bathroom and said they corrected the problem. After a second leak was discovered, we called another vendor. They found that the drain pan was NOT connected to the PVC drain line, so when water barely covered the bottom of the drain pan, it ran out onto my attic floor. They would not take responsibility for the issue. We had to pay someone else to replace the drain pan with the drain properly connected to the line that drips outside. read more

I have been with Crystal Coast for over 20 years and have always been very pleased with their service until today. I called questioning a bill for a service call. After explaining in a nice way some details having to do with the bill, the receptionist put Julia on the phone. After explaining the same thing to her, she was very rude because I called a service man at night on his cell phone directly. I had been told it was ok to do that some years earlier, and had done that a few times without any issues. Evidently their policy changed, but I didn't know that. Julia was very haughty and didn't seem to care al all about my situation. It would seem that a customer of over 20 years would have been treated with a little more respect. She must have been having a BAD day, but as for me they can color me gone. I will be calling a new company tomorrow. I hope they will be a little more respectful. read more

I gave Crystal Coast Heating And Air one star. I wouldn't even give them that much! We got a new system three years ago and we have had to have someone come out and work on it at least 20 times possibly more than that in the last three years. When we asked and finally got it a summary of all the times they fixed or came out to look at our HVAC. It was three pages long. They would fix it and it would work for a few months, and then it would stop and they would suggest something new. They really didn't know what was wrong. They were just putting Band-Aids on what they thought was wrong, I would pay for it, and then, two months later, I'd have to call them again. They have a few guys who know what they're doing but the rest Are pitiful! One time I had a guy come, he put in a new part and one hour later the system wasn't working again. The best part is we would come down in the spring and it wouldn't be working after it had been off all winter because we winterize our Beachhouse. We would get the air working for the summer and then when we would turn the heat on, the heat would not work, and we'd have to call, have someone come out, put in a new part at our cost, and it might run for six weeks and then not be working and we needed something else. The best part was when David the owner said we had the wrong system for our house and that's why we had so many problems. What? You're the one, your company, your workers are the one who came in and told us what we needed and then installed it! If I had the wrong system, then you and your company were the ones that gave me the wrong system. I rely on a company to tell me what I need or don't need especially on an HVAC system Now, we may have just had a different experience from others, but I would tell you be cautious if you go with this company. Obviously we have switched and are much happier with our new provider. read more

I had the unfortunate experience to have two, 1 1/2 ton heat pump systems imploded on me the same 99 degree week. So I can report as a current comparison shopper the Crystal Coast Heating & Air wins hands down! They were quick, professional, fair in price and excellent in technical execution. Their competitor was exactly the opposite they took six weeks to replace a cooling system this summer, can you imagine. Their first installation attempt destroyed the brand-new outside unit. They were conscientious enough to take it away to their shop. Their second unit was then halfway installed before a senior technician had to come and complete the job.But let's not focus on the yahoos. Let's award accolades and more business to Crystal Coast Heating & Air who was, prompt, fair, and technically superior. I can enthusiastically recommend their services. PS I have renovated more than 300 units in my life and still hold a contractor's license so even at 75 I still remember technical aspects of construction. We contacted this company three yrs. ago to come repair our AC. They came out and said it was low in refrigerant, in which I replied then that there must be a leak somewhere. He said he would come back to check on that, nothing happened. Next year had to call them again because the AC wasn't working, They put more refrigerant then the year before to get it to wok again, but still not repairing the problem of the leak. This year what a surprise the AC didn't work again and they had to add a whole 7lbs of freon still not fixing the problem, and then telling us that it would be $558.09, still not taking care of the leak. Then we receive a bill from the company for $624.49. I called them and left a message about it because they were closed. They called the next day, and I was at work and my wife told David that we were not going to pay $624.49 when we were told it was $558.09 and they still haven't fixed the leak, he told my wife the technician was wrong that price was only for seniors, which my wife in turn told him she was. He yelled at my wife and told her that a tech. would be at our house the next day to reclaim the freon they put in our system the next day, which my wife told him that wasn't nice, and his response was that was to bad if she didn't like it she could find someone else, have a nice day, and hung up on my wife. I called when I got home and conveniently he wasn't their, so I told the secretary that I wasn't happy with how he talked to my wife which she told me that he never said that pretty much calling my wife a liar. This company pretty much just puts on a bandage without ever fixing the problem. I will be contacting the better business bureau to file a complaint due to there work ethics among other things. read more
