Since then, I've been desperately searching for a dentist who was as friendly and nice and easygoing as my previous dentist but failing completely. I didn't like my last two dentists so much that I gave up for almost a year. The reviews for neighborhood dentists were so frightening that I decided to buy a pricy electric toothbrush and take my chances. However, my new dental insurer (as of January 2026) put a dentist I'd never seen nor heard of as my default dentist. She's a little further away than I would have considered because of the distance. But I looked at her reviews and thought, "There are FAR too many five-star reviews for me to not at least give her a chance." And all those five-star reviews are absolutely correct. Although this dental office is in a building I would've never found on my own because they're not allowed to have signage outside, the inside is bright, warm and professional. Although it's a little chilly in there, I accidentally came dressed for the weather. (Bring a hoodie.) The dental assistant (Cynthia), the front-desk representative (Nedzma) and the dentist (Dr. Tamara Marjan) are all equally five stars. They are attentive, responsive, professional, friendly and very easy to work with. My comprehensive exam and cleaning were seamless. I didn't have to deal with ANY of the problems that I encountered with two other dentists. This dental office is careful about masks, sanitation, keeping sunglasses in stock so I'm not tearing up while looking at the lights and no one is trying to force me to spend a zillion dollars on cosmetic dental suggestions I never asked for nor need. Everything about this visit was absolutely perfect, and I even left with a movie recommendation (based on my profession). Again, the only cons were figuring out how to find the dental office (Google Maps can't even find it) and needing a hoodie. Other than that, top notch. I have officially found a new dentist. Nice music and what they have on the TV is a little odd, but I was able to change the channel. They put on those home flipper shows which makes me think that this place is mostly Sauganash Moms lol. They have Hulu and Netflix so...cool! As you probably can already tell, I am used to a real "old school" dentist so I was very impressed by all the doodads and technology they had which greatly improved my comfort and made a much better memory of a dentist office. I was in for a DEEP cleaning which was done with a load of novacane. While she really numbed me down alot, her assessment for how long it was going to last was accurate. She was also a bit faster than I expected, but her work got my "mom's seal of approval lol" (she wanted to see). I will admit that it has been awhile since I have been in for a cleaning so I have some work cut out for me. Still, Dr. Dalia explained it to me like I was an adult and didn't try to dumb it down. She was able to use technology like my mouth was a football field and she was drawing up plays. I kind of liked that. One overlooked part was the cost and insurance. While it was still "expensive", the prices did match up with what my insurance estimated it would be. I know one of the biggest problems with dentists are insurance. This office seems to have it down and provides quite a bit of transparency of how much it costs. Since my parents paid for my dental work growing up, I have never seen a bill for something quali major. At "worst" the prices here are fair which for a medical/dental practice, is still pretty positive.
