This place will never get my business again. This would've been our 4th time bringing our dog here…read moreand absolutely never again. Our first appointment on Dec. 20th, 2025 was scheduled for 9am. I dropped my dog off promptly at that time and waited in the parking lot for him to be done. It got to be 1pm (4+ hours from drop off) and I still hadn't received a call he was finished. I went inside to check on him and he was still in a cage, wet. They hadn't even started cutting his hair and told me it would be at least another hour. I was furious because I scheduled an appointment. The lady told me that their appointments aren't actually appointments and they are instead drop off windows and they are a drop-off based salon. No one explained that to me in booking, so naturally I was very upset knowing it would take them 5-6 hours to groom an 8lbs Maltese. Going forward, we were satisfied with the haircut and now that we knew it was a drop off window, we could plan better around that timeline. He had 2 more appointments after that, that went fine. Well, he had an "appointment" today for 8am and my husband dropped him off before work. He arrived at 8:18am. The groomer was extremely rude to him, refused to take our dog, and demanded that we reschedule. My husband explained to him that we have always been told this salon is a drop off service and that they don't take traditional appointments. He refused to work with him, suggest an alternative solution, and then canceled our appointment while my husband was there in front of him. This salon also claims very boldly that they take walk ins. So why was my husband then not treated as a walk in simply dropping off our dog? I could understand this more if it was a traditional appointment based salon, but it's interesting how when they take 6+ hours to groom the tiniest of dogs it's a "drop off service" but when they don't feel like taking you it's a strict appointment. My husband works near the salon, but we live 30 mins away so he now has to drive all the way back home and back out to his workplace, making him over an hour late. He described the man, named ANTHONY, as incredibly rude, unwilling to find a compromise, and dismissive. They obviously don't value us as customers. It seems we are being punished for their unstable business model that sometimes takes walk ins, sometimes doesn't. Sometimes takes appointments that you must adhere to strictly, sometimes doesn't. Sometimes takes dogs as a drop off service, sometimes doesn't. I also was able to drop him off between 8:10-8:20 for his other "appointments" and was never told that I had missed the window for drop off or given any sort of warning that the time of drop off needed to be exactly at 8am. They are incredibly inconsistent, have horrible customer service. We were willing to write off the 6+ hour wait time, but this situation screams that this place is extremely unreliable. I would highly recommend that you do not bring your dogs here, if you do I hope you stay home and nearby to pick him or her up at whatever time is most convenient for this place, because the average working person, they do not accommodate or work with your schedule whatsoever.

We have been taking our Aussiedoodle, Skye, to Caitlyn at Barkingham Palace for a couple of years…read morenow. We had to give her prescribed meds to help calm her down the first 3 or 4 times to get her through her appointments. Caitlyn has now earned Skye's trust, she needs no meds at all and she let's her bathe her and trim her with no muzzle. Thank you for always taking care of our fur baby.
