It is really the fact that I knew so little going into the job. I got to see what they did from the inside. I learned as I went and was amazed at the things I saw. I grew up believing that construction workers just weren't that smart. These were the guys who couldn't do anything else. I can't tell you how wrong I was! The people I met at Willow are not only smart, they are brilliant. There is just so much that goes into even the smallest building or renovation. How they keep all the details and all the rules and codes in their heads blows my mind. And the finished product was always spectacular. I worked on several different jobs so I got to know the various foremen and supervisors. They are all highly professional and well-versed in the nuances of their trade. My garage door company recommended West & Callahan from their experience with them. Chuck Callahan was excellent to work with on the retrofit of an old garage with carriage doors that were being removed for the installation of a new overhead lifting door. They are licensed and very professional. Chuck provided a not-to-exceed estimate, communicated well throughout the planning and implementation and had very competent workers on site to perform the tricky retrofit in a timely fashion, working closely with the garage door company. The actual costs came in below the estimate and he billed me the lower amount, which I was very impressed and pleased with. I highly recommend and would gladly use them again.

Specifics below. Specifics: They regularly showed up around 8:30-9:00, took an hour lunch and left around 3:00-3:30. So, about a 6 hour day of actual work. He tried to charge me for full 8 hour days at $50 per hour per person - at least $200 extra per day. They broke an old shovel on my project. Totally admitted that it was an old shovel used on many jobs. But the logic was that because it broke at my house I had to buy them a new one, so they put a $60 extra charge on my bill. What shovel costs that much anyways? They charged me for an extra valve for the bathtub at $150 - now I have two. The drywall was so poorly done I spent a week fixing it up myself - bubbles and ridges everywhere. The door installation was so bad I had to take it out and redo it myself. And finally, he told me the job would take 5 days. I totally understand that that isn't written in stone, but they didn't finish the job for 5 weeks. All in all, a disaster of an experience that I hope others won't have to endure. Recommend looking elsewhere.

All Exteriors did my parents roof a few years ago and they loved the job they did. I didn't think ours would be hail damaged since our roof was just a couple of years old. Boy was I wrong! We had damage to both our shingled roof and metal roof and needed a complete replacement. All Exteriors made this process so easy. Bill, the owner is an extremely experienced roofer who knows his stuff when it comes to insurance jobs. There are some sketchy companies from out of town (and some local) that will over promise and under deliver. Using a company where the owners/management actually have hands-on roofing experience is so crucial when it comes to your home. We could not be more thrilled with what a difference getting our roof redone has made to the appearance of our house. We got to choose any color we wanted at no additional cost making this feel like a true home makeover. It looks like a new house. They also went above and beyond, trimming back shrubs that were in the way and replacing some rotting wood in a window sill and on the shed. We have owned the home for about 3 years, but I am pretty sure it hadn't been power washed or painted in YEARS! They were also very quick to provide an estimate, start and finish the work, and the cost - even after a miscommunication on my part stayed on budget.
