Hubs surprised me with a day date wine tasting and tour. We were their first tasting of the day and got there when they opened. Greeted by friendly staff and the owner. The tasting included our choice of 3 wines each and a cheese and cracker app each, plus a tour of their facility. The samplings are full glasses and the wine is so good! My fav was the Poolside red. I loved that it's sweet red but not overly sweet. So smooth and free of preservatives so I didn't get the wine headache. Ended up going home with 7 bottles. Great place and we will be back and I'll definitely be restocking. read more

I went there for a mo-town band and show. A. There was no band. The attached photo clearly states there would be a band. There was 1 singer running around the floor with too back up singers singer to pre-recorded music. That is not what I paid for. B. The staff at the front counter where you order drinks and food were totally lost. Horrific service. I asked for a "bottle beer," and the lady didn't know if they sold it or not. How can you not know. When I complained about the lack of a band the manager sorta shrugged her shoulders and said she had nothing to do with the show. C. The location sucks. It's like in a warehouse area and google maps struggled to get there. D. Such a disappointing experience. If you're smart you will never go there. read more

What a hidden gem just off US19 in Clearwater that I am so glad I discovered. I have done two different fun craft classes here. This was the first time I ordered Sangria and the Winery Sampler Charcuterie plate. The Winery Sampler and the Blueberry Sangria were so perfect and delicious. I was taking an awesome Creative Resin-nations craft class and was able to bring my food and drink in to the back room while I worked. There was a list of all the fun events coming up at the bar like lots of different Bingo and craft classes. I can't wait to come back for the Wine-O Bingo night. Very cute wine bar and plenty of seating at bar, tables or couches. I'm a red wine drinker and found the Shiraz was my fave. Their flavored wines were too sweet for me. Overall it was very expensive for tastings (we racked up an $80 bill) so highly recommend just getting a glass instead. Also the tastings come in those tiny plastic cups so you can't properly swish them anyways. They also have charcuterie items to buy which were also good. If you need an event space they have a cute room in the back, they were having a baby shower while we were there and it didn't get too loud. read more

The winery has a great lineup of events, however the service was slow. Six of us attended the Wine Bingo event. Prior to bingo time we ordered drinks in the front room of the winery. We would have had more, but there was no one there to take the orders. Bingo was held in a very large, very clean room and about 70% of the tables were full. There was one server taking orders. Service was slow. The bingo games were called quickly with a variety of games. The prizes were $1 or $2 a game. Maybe they should consider vouchers for discounts on their product instead? They do serve craft beer, but the offerings wrre minimal. Maybe add more that are canned products? They had a very cute line of gifts to purchase!! read more

I've seen the few green roadside signs for this place with those vague arrows over the course of time. So since we both like the fruit of the vine I thought about trying this as an off the wall treat. Not only do they offer tours, but every now and then they offer a game called Wine-O Bingo. So we got here at 1700 hrs (5pm) for our little tour. There was one other guest beside us for this quaint little experience. The spot is located in an industrial park; they import grapes from elsewhere to craft European style wines rather than distinctive American stuff. Tour literally took about 15 minutes, but your start is at the bar where you get to choose three of their large variety. Then they also have a "happy hour" 1500-1900 hours (3-7pm) where you get $2 off per glass. Meantime great jazz music is playing in the background, and at 1900 begins their version of bingo. This isn't quite the same as Drag Queen Bingo that one would find at Hamburger Mary's, but it was still a blast. Everyone in here is drinking, and many come as groups or couples. So they're all in the mood to have fun. As can be seen in my photo of the card, numbers are replaced by wine varietals and BINGO is replaced with WINE-O. Paula was our tour guide and WINE-O caller; Heidi helped in the barkeep duties. Gracious and fun couple of ladies in this joint; it's actually a pretty nice overall experience. You don't hafta take the tour in order to visit. It DOES help so you know what you like. So go out and play!!!! read more

Very cute wine place hidden right off US19. Their indoor venue is large and filled with entertainment during the weekends. The wine isn't too my taste, but they have plenty other options! A plus is that they have a food truck so you can enjoy your night and not have to worry about also getting dinner. Would def recommend to check this place out. This is a great little local secret! We booked through Eventbrite for a Wine-O-Social for date night. Other local customers were there, but only one other person had signed up for the event and didn't show so we had the charcuterie (very good) to ourselves, including flatbreads. I was pleased that they do have Gewurtztraminer. Their red wines are also very good. Once inside the unassuming store front, you'll likely find more than expected. To my surprise, they've actually been there for 14 years! The grapes they use are imported from Italy. Nice atmosphere, pleasant customer service Highly recommend I will be returning. read more

Pro Tip - Buy the Groupon! My friends and I had an amazing time at Aspirations Winery. Shannon was wonderful, she gave a great tour and took really good care of us. It's a small place but we still had a great time and will definitely be going back. Shannon was informative and super accommodating. Cannot recommend this place. Wine was good but the service was awful. We bought wine tasting tickets but the bartender never even asked to see them or verified us via any list. Just asked us what three wines we wanted. She could not answer any questions about the wine and after sitting for about forty minutes I asked, "doesn't the tasting come with a tour?" She goes "oh sure do you want one? You can just walk back there or I could tell you about it from here." I said well we would like the actual tour and she had to grab a piece of paper to read off. Could not answer any questions about that either. As we went to leave she said bye and we left then realized we didn't get the souvenir wine glasses either so had to go back in and ask for those as well. She honestly had NO idea what was going on. This is a fabulous place. Not only the bars with all the different wines, but also the different kinds of beer they served! We had a baby shower held there for my daughter. The facility was very accommodating for all of our decorations. We had them do our coffee station and lemonade, ice tea, and water stations. They were perfect! We went here in July 2016. This is my original review from TripAdvisor. Since we have been in Clearwater Florida, we have not been able to find any good wineries. We visited a few and they were blah. One happen to be the worst winery experience we have ever had. We didn't think it would be any worse than one called "blueberry" farms in New York but it was. Anyhow this place was having a gathering which had people already being told about wine and pairings. We walked in and said we wanted to try some wine. We were treated nicely by the entire staff. A nice lady came out to help us. She informed us about all of the wines. We tried several wines and they were all very good. We purchased 7 bottles of wine. While we waited for her to package the winery she provided us a drink on the house while we waited. That was very awesome. That has never been offered to us before like that. They even provide 15% discount on bottles of 6 or more. That's totally awesome... The Swamp Juice, (dry red), Cabernet Sauv (dry wine), and Tropical Riesling were very good. That is only a few to announce. They receive their juices from California where the wine is made in Florida. Hands down the best winery in Florida that we have tried to this date. Highly Recommend going here. We plan on ordering wine down the road once the bill is in motion in Pennsylvania that will allow other states to ship wine to us finally. read more

Let this be a warning to anyone wanting to book this venue. I debated for over a week now wether or not to leave a review and I feel, the way we were treated on our WEDDING DAY was so unprofessional it can not go unnoticed or not mentioned to others, so they can be weary of supporting this establishment. Back in March of 2024, my husband and I booked with Bill (the owner of aspirations winery) to hold our reception for our wedding day. Everything leading up to that day was great! Bill was very accommodating and open minded to our wants and ideas. We discussed wether or not there will be an open bar, and that guests were NOT allowed to bring their own drinks into the winery. I informed him, I would tell my family and friends there would not be an open bar but if they wanted to open a tab with the winery, they would have plenty to choose from and to not bring any outside drinks. At one point, I even called to ask a few weeks prior if it was okay that I brought sparkling cider for the speeches and toasts to NOT go against his policy of outside drinks. Fast forward to our wedding day, my husband and I were focused on enjoying our time with loved ones throughout the venue, that we didn't notice people had brought their own drinks. At this point in time, one of the workers (which were both extremely rude throughout the entire process. When I would ask questions I would get deep sighs and eye rolls) she informed me that it was against their policy to have any open liquor containers in the venue and I informed her that I would find out who brought it and tell them to throw it out or leave) About 5 or 10 minutes later, I went up to one of the girls to let her know that I was certain that I had find out who brought the drinks and that I would be telling them now to throw it away or leave. she stated the owner was on his way and that we would have to speak to him. Right as she mentioned that, Bill came up to my husband and I at the bar CUSSING at us stating " you all have open liquor containers which is against our policy so we are shutting this shit down " mind you, every interaction from him from the beginning was laid back so I genuinely was caught off guard by this reaction and how he came at us unprofessionally. I then tried to ask if I had found the people with the containers to throw them away or get out would that be possible to not end our night short and he said " no, we are shutting this shit down and I am going to call the police for trespassing " this to me was absolutely comical.. as if we were trashing his venue. He then stormed off into the main room to cuss yet again at my DJ (who might I add is a personal friend and the most well known DJ in the Tampa area and has already informed everyone he works with to avoid this place.) yelling at him to "shut the fuckin music off " my entire family and friends were dumb founded why he was acting so unprofessional when this could have been resolved with a conversation and an announcement from my DJ. I can understand him being upset because this was against his policy, but if he goes back and rewatches the entire night, (since he continued to mention how much he loves his cameras to everyone) my husband and I did not drink from ANY of those open containers at all. He could have gone about the situation differently and there would have not been an issue from us with removing those who did not listen to the rules. The fact that he treated us with so much disrespect after being so willing to abide by anything he did not allow, was mind blowing. I had so many people asking us for details on how to book this location for their own, weddings, birthday parties, and baby showers coming up. By the end of the night, every single one of my guests stated they would never support a man like this and I agreed. If he went about the situation calmly and professionally the way he did every other situation prior, I would be leaving a 5 star review, EVEN IF we had to kick out some of my guests. I can see now why he stated his business has been very slow.. his attitude and the staff he has would turn anyone off in wanting to come back. Didn't really know what to expect when we were driving up to this place. It's kind of in a manufacturing area but once in and greeted by the friendly staff you know it will be a good time. We signed up for the tour package. Now it's not really a tour more of a quick rundown on how the process works, but we got a free bottle of wine and a few glass for each of us and 3 glasses of wine to try. Needless to say that was ok with me. The wines are great and such a variety. The staff is what makes this place great there were two female servers there and they were awesome, friendly, knowledgeable and helped us have a great time. Arrived here Sunday afternoon, not sure what to expect. Aspirations Winery is a small family run operation located in an industrial area off Route 19 in Clearwater. I was welcomed with a friendly hello, big smile and a nice glass of wine. I was shocked to see an almost full room of customers. I grabbed a water bottle, some grapes and delicious cheese (all compliments of Aspirations). I immediately looked over the menu and was excited to pick out my 5 samples. Aspirations has a wide selection of wines from your traditional Merlots and Pinot Grigios to their creative Fruit Infused and dessert wines. I am a sucker for red wines and my two favorites by far were the Super Tuscan and the Amarone. Both wines are made from Italian grapes and were very satisfying. The Amarone had flavors of dried dark fruits and blended Bordeauxs. Amarone pairs so nicely with dark chocolate. Mmmmm.. The Super Tuscan had a rich dark cherry flavor with a nice dry finish on the tongue. The owners son ushered us in to the wine making facility. The tour was very educational and enjoyable. From the outside this place doesn't look like much, but when you walk in you will see a true hidden gem. Once you enter, you are greeted with amazing hospitality from the staff. I actually stumbled upon this location via a living social deal. This deal included seven tastings of wine, a cheese and fruit platter, free wine glasses, and a complimentary bottle of wine of our choice. I have to say, this place is pretty impressive for a small location in a little business complex off of the access road by US 19 in Clearwater, Florida. The staff here are very knowledgeable in the winemaking process and describing the flavor profiles of each wine. A big plus to those that are allergic to sulfites in wine, many other ones are made sulfite free! This was also one of two winetastings places where I actually enjoyed a Pinot Grigio. When it comes to white wine, I'm more of a Sauvignon Blanc or Riesling woman. This one has a lime Pinot Grigio (A nice coco-lime finish) and ended up choosing that for our free bottle. I definitely recommend giving this place a try at least once if you're into wines or just starting. read more

They offered a deal for a tasting and tour for two, for about $38. It was well worth the money. It was only supposed to be an hour but was probably close to two hours. Our host took his time explaining the wines we were trying. Basically you got to try any five wines on the menu, and take a bottle home for free. He also had cheese, crackers, grapes, and chocolate out. He came around and just talked to us. It was also nice having some nice people in our group. The pours were very generous. Make sure your driver knows their limits, because everyone left out feeling very "good". He also took us in the back and taught us the process of making, and bottling the wine. It was very interesting. I highly recommend jumping on this deal. It's a great afternoon out for a small price. Plus the bottle and two souvenir glasses. I highly recommend leaving a tip if you were as happy as I was with the experience. I mean, I almost feel like they would lose money on such a great deal. read more

The pink parrot and poolside tropical were the best sweet wines I've ever tried. Everything tasted super fresh and we also got a cheese tray with the tasting. On a visit to Clearwater Beach we had a cloudy non beach day and decided try this winery. It's an urban winery, from the outside you wouldn't think it was much of anything. Once you enter you will be amazed. It's beautiful inside and a huge offering of wine, sangria, fruit infused wines that are perfect on hot beach/pool days. The wine tasting includes a small cheese,meat platter and crackers for each taster. Paula was the server and she was a great host. Friendly, explaining the wine choices and answering questions. A small winery in Clear Water was recommended by my daughter which she found and loved the wine tasting events. The Malbec she brought was outstanding. So we made our reservation and went. Sadly they were out of the Malbec. But the wine tasting was enjoyable and a few wines we liked to purchase. The tour of this modern winery which surprisingly produces a large inventory was very interesting and informative.
