Total Wine never disappoints. They bring the class back to spirits and cordials. They're always so professional and have such a clean store. This location in particular strikes me as being an overachiever in Total Wine stores because they sometimes have visiting manufacturers who come and tell you about the product that they created. Not to mention the cigar humidor is well stocked and kept very neat and tidy. Great location. read more

Check out the cork purses for - wait for it - "spiriting" alcohol into events surreptitiously. A tasting bar with about 10 wines on offer. I feel like it was a race thing when the man that was working in the aisle helped everyone else and blatantly ignored my sister and I. Huge, huge, huge. This palace is bigger than your (my) beer gut. And their prices point to make the odds of it getting smaller as slim to none. Their selection for liquor is more extensive than their six packs for beer seem to be, but I've always found what I was looking for here. This place is absolutely amazing !! They have more wine than you could ever imagine possible under one roof !! I went today with my husband. (Sunday) the place was really busy. They have several tasting stations with friendly service. Many employees walking around that are very helpful, friendly, and funny. They sell many different kinds of specialty beer ? Which I don't drink but they looked like they had a great selection. They sell various wine glasses and snacks. They sell fine wine and wine that was about $3 a bottle. The cashier did scan an extra bottle of wine by accident, when we realized, we had already paid. We brought it back in and the manager was extreme nice and able to adjust our bill with no hassle. This is a review based only on the beer department, which was not the best. The beer is very disorganized. There was no rhyme or reason that I could distinguish for the organization and it was very hard to see the selection because it was so broken up. I have been to another Total Wine & More where the beer department was much better managed and organized. My last note is that the selection is just okay. It would be nice to see a bigger selection of out of state craft beer. read more

Yes, this is a giant booze supermarket of a store but it feels like the set of "Dawn of the Dead". The aisles are about 12 inches wide so I would go on a diet before I went in there. Employees are about as helpful and friendly as a drunk mortician. I like the little retail guys (No, I don't own a liquor store or work at one). They know your name and what you like and they treat you with respect. I'm willing to spend a few bucks more for that special friendly service. Total Bullshit and More would be a more appropriate name for this place. They could learn a thing or two from the little guys. read more

If they do not have something you are looking for they will almost always be able to get it for you! The other peice to this store is their classes- they offer all sorts of classes (wine tastings, bourbon classes, tequila classes and more!) with options for everyone! Asked where i could find an item and intruded on a walkie talkie conversation - shame on me. i received a point and a grunt. A few minutes later i was asked if i needed help and gave a giant no. stick with your local, family owned non franchised establishments and shun this chain. With local - you keep the money where it needs to be- they remember your name, they know their wines (which all these people want to do is sell you something more expensive. And open on Easter - so much for time being spent with family. Also interesting to see all these positive reviews, and the store gets slower and slower. UPDATE: Yesterday we went back into purchase the wine that we couldn't get yesterday because my fiancé didn't bring his ID from soccer into the store...I had my ID but store policy says everyone needs an ID that is in line...turns out though, THEY DIDN'T ID EITHER OF US this time. So last night we are turned away because one person doesn't have it...today they don't even check. At 28 years old, my fiancé was with me and we both were turned away because he didn't have his ID. I have been here twice now, and both times I have had poor customer service. The last time I went Not only could I not find anyone in the store to help me find what I was looking for, but I also went to the service desk to have them look something up for me, and while the manager was in the middle of helping me, he just walked away and started ringing people in at a register. Just left me standing there, so I left. For years I have gone to the little local guy, and I went out on a limb to try the big store, but I will not be going back. Staff is rude and not helpful. I have visited this location a couple times per week since it opened, and have yet to have a floor associate ask me if I needed assistance, or even attempt to offer a recommendation of wine and spirits. Additionally, rather than excusing themselves, they push right pass me and move their ladders and baskets right in front of me. Originally, I was excited that a Total Wines was in Massachusetts after visiting Texas for multiple years, but that excitement has diminished. This poor customer service is unfortunate, as I recommend spirit brands and wholesalers to my clients and have no incentive to recommend Total Wines. The only good thing is that the brand has a varied price range for spirits. The cashiers are more friendly than the floor staff. Bad attitudes toward ethnic shoppers definitely needs to change at this location. read more

Prices are reasonable. If you buy 6 or more bottles where the price ends in 9, they offer 10% off your purchase. Hours are great. They offer bottle recycling. Lots of selection for wine, beer, and spirits. Only slight draw back in the lack on help on the floor. You can go up and ask customer services, but there are not people that n the floor asking if you need help. But, since prices are the most reasonable for the area, it is a trade off if this is the place for you depending upon what you value when shopping (circulating and depend help OR slightly lower prices...... Since then, though, while I still like the selection and prices, the customer service has been very uneven. Some staff are quite helpful in offering recommendations as well as helping to find various types of wine, but others are downright rude and won't offer suggestions. The manager could learn a lot about this store by asking some unknowns from other stores to come in and pose as customers seeking help. Some staff definitely need to be replaced. read more

Total Wine has a great selection of wine, beer and spirits at what seem like impossible prices. The store is clean and well-lit and really gives a superior experience when compared to most liquor stores (many of which somehow make you feel like a deranged alcoholic just for walking in there). Staff are dressed professionally but I've never had anyone ask me if I needed help finding something. I don't mind because I'm usually just browsing and don't want to be bothered, but I wonder if this is a conscious decision on the part of Total Wine or just the staff being lazy or too busy. I do wish they had a better selection of harder to find spirits, especially in the bourbon section, where many shelves had little "out of stock" tags and empty spaces. Scotch was a bit limited as well. I was also surprised to find $40 bottles of Cognac locked up right next to $80+ bottles of bourbon out in the open (are that many people stealing whole bottles of Cognac these days?). I'm interested to see how they handle distribution of highly allocated bourbons this fall, as I've heard that Total Wine generally locks these products up and saves them for their "best customers", rather than working on a first-come-first-served basis. read more

They do a nice job of posting a description of the varieties and suggestions for food pairing. Everything from high end to bargain brands. Multiple sizes of liquor available and tons of gift sets. Huge liquor store, located right off the Speen street exit of route 9 by the Natick Mall. You could literally walk in and be in there for hours (believe me I have done it!) You can find anything you could want or are looking for at really low prices! They also offer a variety of kegs at incredible prices too (perfect for parties!) Large selection of "nips" by the end of the registers. They offer tastings as well so you are able to try before you buy! read more

If I could give them no stars I would. The manager racially discriminated my family. My dad went to buy liquor for a party we are having and she told my dad that he couldn't buy all of the cases. She said "No you aren't buying it for a party, you own a liquor store...how many liquor stores do you have?" She assumed based on my dad's background that he owned a liquor store. Then, she further questioned my Uncle about what type of party it was and threatened to look into their background. No worries, we don't own a liquor store. At first, the store can be a bit overwhelming with the amount of options, but the staff is very helpful. I love that at every aisle they have top picks listed if you want ideas. Went I for wine for my wife and beer for myself. My boss' son ,who is 26, was in front of me in line. His license had just expired. They wouldn't sell him beer. I offered to pay for his beer and they asked me to leave and wouldn't let me purchase my own alcohol . I am 50. This was very insulting! I will never go there again! read more

Met John near the door, who listened to our needs, asked us clarifying questions and helped us find all the Reds we needed. He then introduced us to Tara, who helped us find all the whites, and made several additional suggestions. She even invited us to do a rose sampling in store! We came out under budget, and every recommendation they made was a hit at the party. No pressure sales techniques, just super knowledgable and friendly people. Great prices!
