Total Wine in Natick recently mailed a 12 page ad to my house. Toasted Head Chardonnay was on sale for $7.97. "No further discount is available". It was advertised as their lowest price. I bought two cases and discovered when I got home that I was charged $8.27 a bottle. I called and they apologized and said they would honor the price if i returned with the ad and the sales slip. I did. They could not honor the price they said because it was against the law. The price in the ad, they claimed, was the price THEY paid for the wine, not the price they could charge customers. I argued that the advertised price was $7.37, and they insisted that it was the advertised price, but they could not honor it because Mass law does not allow any dealer to sell wine at a price the business paid for the product. They are not good people and their arguments make no sense. The ads are scams. read more

Total Wine is the best!! I was so excited to have one come to MA, after living in FL with them for years. You just can't beat their prices or selection!! They always have that obscure white whiskey I want in that one flavor, or that Sam Adams that's out of season, but I tried it that one time and wanted to get a case. I send everyone I know here. I really wouldn't shop anywhere else, it'd be a complete waste of time. read more

GREAT place to shop for wine, beer and alcohol!! They stock the regulars and the unusual or hard to find items. I highly suggest you take yourself over here and see what I am talking about. I brought over by a friend and will make this place my go to for wine, beer or liquor. Very helpful staff as well. There are NO downsides to this place. read more

BEWARE OF BAIT AND SWITCH!!! Drove out of my way just after they opened to get some Jordan Cabernet which they advertised at $44.97. When I wasn't able to find it, one of their wine team told me thay didn't have it and couldn't get it due to a "lack of supply" and suggested a wine I've never heard of. Interesting...a quick look on winesearcher.com reveals several other stores in the area have it in stock for a few bucks more! read more

This is the most overrated liquor store in Massachusetts! I have bought liquor here in the past and the staff is snotty and the prices are not that cheap! As I do not see a future for this store, I wish this store would go out of business. read more

Selection is really good,especially wine. My complaint is w/the employees-the 3 times i was there,no one approached me to offer help. Really had to go looking for someone. On one visit-employee had no idea what i was talking about-told me they probably didn't carry it. Yet,I found it. Second time -looking for a specific beer-a little attitude from employee,and yes,i found it myself. Third time,was looking for a cordial-employee never heard of it(which is fine),she asked another person(who was a floor manager)-same thing. I had to ask him to look it up in the computer. Felt like a kid in a candy store. The selection of wine and craft/ beers is positively mind=bending!! The staff is super helpful, they have tons of holiday gift ideas and also offer special tastings. The store is HUGE, however, so please plan on considerable time to wander through it.Found things there I didn't know I needed. Metrowest has been waiting a long time for something like this: INCREDIBLE selection, UNBEATABLE prices and STELLAR staff. If you enjoying imbibing at all --- or buying presents for those who do -- make a point of going out of our way to experience this mega store. Great prices great selection. Staff is standoffish. Walked around for over half hour not one "may I help you? "or even "hello" Asked quick question about boxes and was told "look up front" like I was bothering him. Cashier no greeting no smile no "did you find everything? We were at Total Wine trying to pick out a good/great Tequila as a Christmas gift for my niece. We new Patron was a good choice but maybe not the best. The assistant manager called out Dan Richard to give us a hand. He was so knowledgeable and professional he "schooled" us on the different brands and which one was his favorite. Great place. They have anything and everything. Great prices. People are really helpful and nice...until today. There was a guy with short black curly hair. We ask for help getting mic ultra light. First off he seemed like he was on something. I think a lot of Redbull. Rambled a lot. He made fun of us for getting ultra light. I didn't want to cause a scene. I hope somebody in charge notices what an idiot this guy is. read more

Staff is great. Selection is great. Prices are unbelievable. Tito's vodka is $4 dollars cheaper than at my local store. Wine is less expensive than at BJs read more

This place is massive! You feel like they simply have EVERYTHING here. They have tastings and great customer service. Try the Oyster Wine! We found out this sauvignon blanc we bought here restores local oyster reefs, how cool is that? read more

Thank God for Total Wine to come to MA! Given the inane fact that you can't buy beer & wine in most markets & convenience stores, the lack of competition has NOT inured to the benefit of the consumer. Total Wine is the Game Changer! Their volume and presence in many states has given the consumer more choice and LOWER prices. Their selection can't be beat and I found most of the employees very helpful & knowledgeable. I hope they open more stores in MA. Alike the innovative Uber & Itunes, this is an industry desperately in need of change... read more
