I couldn't believe that he only charged me $80 for an OLED screen. He said he had a cheaper option for $60 if I went for the LCD sceeen but as soon as he demonstated the differences between 2 screens, I decided to go with the oLed screen. After a week of not hearing anything, I had to call them and they told my that both devices were fixable and provided me with quotes. I agreed to the repairs. After another two weeks of no communication, I called them again. They were able to fix my switch but the laptop was no where near being fixed (something about ordering a part but the supplier canceled their delivery after they bought it and did not provide any other updates?) Anyways I asked if i could pick up my devices bc i was frankly just over the whole ordeal and decided to just go to Geek Squad instead. They said I would have to come the next day, which I did. When I came, my laptop still wasn't ready and when I received it back, it was missing a few screws on the bottom. Overall, the lack of communication and poor treatment is why I personally will not be back. Two stars as they were able to fix my switch (this was reasonably priced at $120) but my laptop repair was essentially delayed for an entire month with zero progress.

I provided him with the exact model # and he gave me a quote. I stop by to make a 50% deposit so he can order the replacement battery and after a few days it arrived and I stopped by to drop off my laptop. He quoted me 1.5hrs for the repair since he was still working on another project. About an hour later, much less than the quoted time- he was done. I came in to inspect the laptop and see that it charges and the battery health in the operating system updated as new instead of the old alert for replacement- I knew it was good to go. I'd definitely recommend this place for the value- compared to other quotes I received on this project. The professionalism of Alex and also the prompt communication, which is a big plus in my book. Everyone is so busy and tech-reliant, when you need tech repair, you need it done ASAP and Alex does not waste any time. Immediately as I step in, Luis asked me if I was here for the hat. Two of the four phrases were displayed. He was so nice and did not oddly gate-keep the hats like the gentleman at the Costa Mesa store. As I was leaving, I noticed on Luis' name tag that he was the retail store manager which didn't surprise me.
