I rented an i-Phone 5 with the data package to take on a road trip from Minneapolis to Montana. The phone arrived pretty quickly in the mail and setup was easy like any other i-phone. Service was fine in the twin cities and I stopped in Fargo for gas and service was good there as well. The rest of the trip I had NO CELL COVERAGE. That includes decent size cities of Bismarck ND, Dickenson ND, Cody WY, and Red Lodge MT. I used Wi-fi when available as a backup plan. The cell provider was some version of T-mobile. Recommend verifying coverage before you rent. UPDATE: I was contacted by Dyal customer service because of my poor experience. They apologized and provided a full refund. They also said they were switching to an AT&T pre-paid plan so there will be better coverage with future rentals. They seemed genuine with their response so I am pleased with their customer service and how they responded to the issue. read more

My iPhone was dying before my contract was up for renewal, and I debated renting a phone. A friend did a Google search and suggested Dyal phone rental. After checking out what they had to offer and asking a few questions, I decided to give them a shot for three months. The product was shipped immediately! They shipped the iPhone along with a charger, and everything went without a hitch. I was in urgent need of an I phone within the week and on a Saturday. The phone was deliver quickly even though I live on the East coast. Contract came in email and received a copy with the phone. Directions were in the phone for my needs as well as phone numbers. The only thing I would recommend, if you live any distance from CA, don't get it for a Saturday event on a 1 week rental. You will have to over night it Monday morning as it needs returned by 12:00 a.m. Wednesday, and mine came, because of my request ASAP, on Wednesday. $$ I did not specify my selection of phone but it was top of the line. I was able to watch my niece get married in real time for $50.00, a very small price to pay as I could not attend due to medical reasons. So thankful for this service. read more

Deal was a God-send! My smart phone died one month before I was to leave the country for a long-term position. I didn't want to purchase a phone that wouldn't work abroad. I contacted Dyal and had a VERY reasonably priced rental in hand within a few days to get me through the month. It was clean, seemed brand new, no issues. I tried it out for a month, decided that it was the model for me and when I landed in my new position, I purchased one without hesitation because I'd been able to try one out for a month. If you can't decide between Android, iOS, etc., you can rent from Dyal for a week to several months until you find the perfect phone for you. Not sure why more people don't do this! This is such an amazing service. My phone malfunctioned on me so I was really desperate .. I can't even get around without a GPS nowadays. Being without a smart phone today is super inconvenient. I received my phone within 2 days of ordering. What was great is the phone already came with a case so I didn't have to worry about buying my own case for a phone that I was renting and sending back anyways. Customer service was excellent as well. Without a doubt a MUST NEED service. I don't need or want a smart phone when I'm home, but they're so great when traveling. I've twice rented an IPhone phone from Dyal Rental for vacations, and I couldn't be happier. They got the phone to me quickly, the cost was very reasonable and the return policy was easy and flexible. The phone and data plan may have even paid for themselves as I was able to easily shop around for inexpensive lodgings. It was also nice to have information about great restaurants at my fingertips, and of course I was able to easily email or post photos during the trip. We needed five iPhones for a conference event which involved the participants using Snapchat and wanted some insurance against peoples phones dying/being incompatible/etc. Worked like a dream. Extremely responsive customer service, on-time delivery. Would use again in a heartbeat. One negative: Phones arrived dead and needed to be charged, but we did not speak about this contingency in advance, and it wasn't a problem because we had enough lead time. Dyal Rental was a lifesaver when I dropped my iPhone in the water. I was able to rent an iphone from them for 5 months, until I was eligible to buy a new one, and the monthly fee was very reasonable. Needed an iPhone to transition me for a month between jobs where each job provided its own. Ordering, receipt, return, and deposit refund were exactly as promised, and included very handy self-return box. iPhone was in mint condition. 1 customer service question was answered immediately on the phone. If I had a critical comment, it would be the 1GB limit for data on the Dyal plan -- would have preferred 2GB min, or option to pay a little more on the line fee for it. But being mindful of my data use made this a non-issue. read more
