We came for the first time to see the coffin race and they had their seats out. Best seats. We had all intentions on spending money there since we knew we were taking up a table for the parade/race. I came across this place while touring the local area. It is a walk up kiosk type joint. Their exotic lemonades caught my eye, so I had to give them a shot. They also have shaved ice, nuts and crepes as well. But I was on a mission, I wanted lemonade. The service there was good and their prices are resonable. I ordered the blackberry lemonade. It was made very quickly, I would say less than 4 minutes. It was huge (32 ozs), cold, delicious and refreshing. Stopped by this little place while walking around Manitou Springs and tried the Green Dragon. This was an amazing savory crepé packed with lots of flavor! It was so good we had to go back later on and try their sweet crepés and specialty hot chocolates. We tried both the Vanilla Bean White Hot Chocolate Steamer and the Oreo Cookie Hot Chocolate. The Vanilla Bean White Hot Chocolate Steamer was pretty good but the Oreo Cookie Hot Chocolate definitely took the win. We also got the Nutella Strawberry Crepé and Booyah Crepé. Both of these were winners! You can never go wrong with Nutella Strawberry and they certainly didn't disappoint. The Booyah Crepé was delicious as well and the lemon/blueberry flavors mixed perfectly. Certainly recommend trying that one if you go! I'm sorry, I know this place is very popular but I'm not a huge fan. The service here is very nice and I love how the place looks but the hot chocolates should be thicker and less watery. This spot had so many tempting cocoas and ciders that it was hard to choose just one but all 3 that we tried were delish - Apple Pie Cider, S'mores hot cocoa and Lavender hot cocoa. Definitely an indulgent treat, each of these were a generous portion with creative toppings - feel free to also customize (e.g., add marshmallows or swap out milk for white chocolate) to your heart's desire. The S'mores one was hands down the winner with whipped cream, Cinnamon Toast Crunch and chocolate sauce on top. Each drink was $5 but totally worth the cost. This is a cute little place that has been in Manitou Springs for 4 years serving speciality nuts, hot chocolates, and ciders. In the last few months they have added crepes, and it's a welcome addition to Manitou Springs! I stopped by here on a cold December day with friends from Namibia and we all ordered different hot drinks. Everyone liked what they ordered so much that there was little sharing going on, even light tastes required caution. Cut to yesterday when my girlfriend and I had cheese fondue at Mona Lisa and wanted a little dessert, but a dessert fondue would have been too much. We searched Yelp for a crepe place in Manitou Springs and none appeared. We walked up the street in hopes that our recollection was correct and we saw Crepes someplace. While this place would probably be ok on a slow day, don't bother when it's busy, like on Coffin Race Day. Waited in line for an hour for cider. The cashier was writing orders in barely legible writing on sticky notes. When I was about to order; another employee asked about a sticky note they found on the floor. Who knows if they got their order. There was a big group of people outside of the pick up area and no one behind the counter was taking responsibility for calling out orders or figuring out what belonged to who. After waiting almost 20 minutes, the woman who ordered after me, gets 3 drinks before I get my 2, not to mention the handful of people before me also still waiting. I mentioned that was bad customer service and they're not doing a very good job with organizing their orders. I was met with hostility and told to be patient. I then asked for a refund and was refused one. I then mentioned how rude it was to treat customers this way and that the employee was having a bad attitude with everyone in line, to which she replied "no im not!" As if arguing with a customer isn't adding to the bad attitude. Finally I got the drinks they claimed were mine and left. They were the wrong drinks. Please be more prepared for something you know happens every year and have much more polite staff on hand that can handle the large crowd. This was so disappointing. read more

After driving fifteen minutes, walking a quarter mile because of horrendous parking and waiting in line for ten minutes we were advised that they "not making crepes right now and to check back in like an hour", which according to the girl in the window is why the sign was turned around... but in fact the sign on the sidewalk clearly states 'crepes'. I always look for a good crepe and there were two options in manitou, this and then Paris crepe down the road. I originally was headed for Paris crepe but saw how cute the building was for totally nuts and decided to try it out and I am so happy I did. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. The menu is small but the options all looked delicious. I chose the "booyah" sweet crepe which had lemon curd, fresh blueberries and whipped cream. IT WAS INCREDIBLE! The lemon curd was so beautifully sweet and tart like a delicious punch in the mouth. The fresh blueberries were delicious and the crepe was cooked perfectly. I also got a fresh squeezed blackberry lemonade which was tasty and refreshing. I could taste how fresh the lemonade was and it paired perfectly with my crepe. Can't wait to go back! read more

The Hawaiian Shave ice is nothing like real "shave" ice. It's the same chunky ice for a snow cone, so it doesn't absorb the flavor. It shouldn't be advertised as "shave ice" if they don't actually "shave" the ice off a block. The choice of flavors is pretty good. read more

I walk past Totally Nuts almost every day. Recently they added crepes to their menu. My son, Porter, who is addicted to crepes, has been badgering me to try their crepes. This Sunday we were finally able to swing by to give it a try and to say the least my son and I were extremely impressed! The portions were good, and the crepes were delicious! I had the Green Dragon crepe which had a healthy portion of sliced chicken, Cuban black beans, green chilis, and fresh avocados covered in a blanket of melted pepper jack cheese, wrapped in a crepe griddled to perfection (not too gooey and not too crisp) and then drizzled with a delicious dragon green chili sauce and a generous scoop of yogurt. The flavors all work together without overpowering each other to give a sense of umami. My son enjoyed the Tropical Delight which was pineapple and mango ripened to a sweetness that you wouldn't expect this time of year and wrapped in a crepe and drizzled in a delicate coconut syrup which complimented the fruit without overpowering it. By the time we had realized that we were impressed enough to write a review there was nothing to take a picture of except our empty plates. We will be returning to try the other crepes on their menu and highly recommend that if you find yourself in Manitou you give them a try. You can dine at their outdoor tables or take them to go and eat them in the park or any of Manitou's other scenic locations read more
