If you want authentic Salvadoran food, you will find it here. We have been coming here for a while and it's time I review this hidden place. The menu has some of the most known Salvadoran dishes, we have had a few and it has always hit the spot. This last visit we noticed they updated the fascade of the restaurant and it looks beautiful with a design and color that truly represent El Salvador folklore. The space inside is cozy. A few tables outside too. The service is always quick. The pupusas are made to order, the horchata is delicious! Definitely recommend this place.

Being Salvadoran myself, I can attest to the authentic Salvadoran flavor of the food here. If you're in Hanford, don't hesitate to try the pupusas and yuca; they're delicious, just like everything else on the menu. Highly recommended for everyone. Oh and my drink "Fresco de Ensalada" was delicious. Thank you Toti's!!

The service here is great. It is very clean. I think these are the best Pupusas I have ever had and my friend's Mom used to make these all the time. So the cabbage and salsa were really good. I really enjoyed the cheese and garlic pupusa that one got devoured. I had a bite of the squash and cheese one and that one was just ok. I wouldn't order that one again. The jalapeño and cheese pupusa was really good. I had a few bites of that one. One pupusa is enough for me so next time I am just going to buy one.

The food here is great...NOT MEXICAN!! Tucked away in a less busy part of Hanford. The location is a kind of IYKYK. The food is fresh and hot and definitely worth the wait. The horchata is a nutty and chocolate flavored drink which is really good. I ordered the papusas and they were ripping hot from the kitchen. The coleslaw the comes with it has a vinegar type sauce which adds to the flavor to the plate. The papusas were filled with cheese, beans, and pork in a perfect blend. The fried plantains were good and very different.

Very good food! Love it here. Worst costumer service ever. The waitresses were sweet but the waiter was VERY rude and snappy.

I am always in the lookout of good pupusas. The salvador delicacy. Not every pupusa restaurant…read moremakes good ones. This is a truck and I found it on yelp. I could order on the phone so when we got out of our little business we went to pick up. At first I didn't know it was a food truck. But then when we got to the place we saw it. So when we got there they were making them and they didn't take that long to finish. They were good despite the look the taste was there. The salsa needed to be a little bit spicier. We were gladly surprised that they were good. I highly recommend. The price was modest.

Some of the Salvadorian offerings include: pupusas with combinations of cheese, garlic, mushrooms, squash, jalapeño, beans, pork, and rice; pastelitos (which are Salvadorian empanadas filled with minced meat and spices); yuca fries, caramelized bananas with cajeta (a rich caramel made from goat's milk) or banana empanadas coated in sugar. Mexican menu offerings include tacos, burritos, sopes, quesabirria tacos, gorditas, mulitas, huaraches (similar to a large, open-faced taco on a thick gordita-like base), and quesadillas. If you have little ones with less cultured tastebuds, Pupuseria Los Guanaquitos is happy to accommodate with their kids' menu featuring quesadillas, chicken nuggets, and fries. Our family tried a variety of items from the menu on our recent visit, including the revuelta (cheese, beans and pork), cheese and garlic, and cheese and jalapeño pupusas, the yuca fries, quesabirria tacos, and banana empanadas. My personal favorites with the cheese and jalapeño pupusas and the yuca fries. If yuca is new to you, the flavor is mild, and the texture is similar to that of a potato. It's sliced and fried with crispy layers surrounding it and a flavorful sauce is included on the side for dipping.
