This has been my favorite spot to grab breakfast since I was a kid. And it hasn't changed one bit the last 15 years. All the vinyl booths and classic green paint are the same, I love it! The food here has always been good and consistent. And the wait staff even better. Such a homey feel when you come by. They're quick too which is needed for a breakfast spot. They're serving up your classic diner finds, all very good. The linguica has always been my go to. They also have some pretty good biscuits and gravy. I love Green Valley Cafe. The atmosphere is friendly, the food is amazing. However, I am no longer able to get my favorite take out order because the price is ridiculous! I ordered 3poached eggs, and a double order of hash browns for take out, no bread, no meat. The total came to over $23! I called a few days later when my shock had worn off and the very friendly lady rang it up and verified I had been charged correctly. She even tried ringing it up as each item ala cart but it was still over $21! This was just eggs and hash browns, no bread, no meat. I'm on a fixed income and just cannot afford that. I was hoping they could find another way to charge it so that it was reasonable but that didn't happen. Really sad! read more

Waitress was so nice and let me order the Sr./Jr. breakfast even thought I'm not a Sr. But i just don't eat much and hate waisting food. I would be inclined to support, BUT on the one occasion I had to have breakfast, as I drove up, I bak g tray full of biscuits was on top of the trashcan. I thought mb cooling, right? 9/28/24 Getting breakfast for tomorrow!! I called and ordered their ham breakfast wrap after the kind worker said that works better than the breakfast burrito since I didn't want taco meat. Also ordered 2 slices of their cinnamon French toast with sf syrup. The worker was very kind and said it would be ready in 10 minutes. I went in to get it shortly later! Greeted by many upon entering and it was Really REALLY busy! Packed!! Must be good! I went to the register station right in the middle, paid for it and left. The worker was nice, smiled, but you could tell they were just busy keeping it together and making customers happy. I should've checked the order before leaving. Unloading at home and it's only 1 slice of bread and didn't look freshly made. Really plain. Thankfully, I called shortly later and let the worker know of the disappointment. He apologized multiple times and reimbursed me for the entire breakfast I just wanted the extra i paid for and didn't get! Appreciated!! Green valley cafe is a small local spot with a hometown feel, delicious food and spot on service. The food here is always delicious and if for some reason it isn't right, they will do what they can to make it right. It's small but I have yet to have to wait more than 5mins for a table. We came early on a Sunday morning and the place wasn't too busy yet, so unfortunately I really can't speak to how fast service is when the place is packed, but they were really on the ball. We were seated and the waitress took our drink order within minutes, and within a few more minutes, she was back with coffee and water and ready to take our order. We needed a few more minutes, and once we did place our order, it couldn't have been much longer than a 10-minute wait at most. And the food was delicious! My kids loved the pancakes and toast, and the linguica & cheese omelet was superb. The hash browns were perfectly cooked, too. Again, the service was so fast and friendly, and prices were reasonable. Can't say enough good things about this place! Almost every time we go there is a line out the door, but we never seem to have to wait too long to be seated. Once you're seated they are so quick to take your order and the food arrives quickly. The customer service is amazing and every single employee is so friendly, helpful, and on the ball. GV is my family and friends go to, this place has an ambiance to it like a grandma's kitchen feel, it has great tasting food and customer service that just blows us away every time! We are frequent customers and staff knows what we want and how we like things every time! You can't say that about a lot of restaurants, and let me tell you they will not let your coffee cup be empty the employees are always smiling, very welcoming and accommodating, they help each other out when it gets really busy so not one table is suffering because their server is busy and that's why we love coming here.
