The guy who took us was really friendly and asked about our trip and let us know they don't get paid to be there and only earn the tips they get. He was peddling really hard cuz there was 4 of us total in the cab of the bike and we stayed at the Portofino which apparently is the farthest hotel. We really appreciated not having to walk that whole way in the heat and sweat and we could tell he was having a workout with taking all of us. So we gladly gave him $30. He got us there way faster than us having to walk and the bike gave us a breeze to cool off too. So if the Florida heat and sun is taking its toll on you, show your appreciation for having the pedicabs get you there faster with a generous tip! I certainly couldn't do that all day! Whew!

I had two kids in tow with me. I noticed a dude riding a rickshaw and prayed that somehow we'd find him when it was time to go home. Well I must have done something right because not one but two crossed our paths on the way back to the car. Brad was friendly and a quick pedaler. What would have been seven more tiring minutes on foot with two tired kids was condensed into two relaxing minutes for the ride. It's a FREE ride with pedalers paid strictly through tips. I did a lot of research on transportation before our trip and I learned there used to be a free shuttle from the Airport to Disney World. That was discontinued a few years back, I'm not sure how many years ago. I am surprised that they took it away for the price we paid for the hotel it should include the shuttle. When we were waiting in baggage claim, which had some machinery malfunction so it was taking longer then normal, he check out UBER and the price was sky high at this time at night. We arrived at the airport around 6pm on a Saturday. I told him about Mears and the mixed reviews I've seen about them. He went to there website, saw the price and he was sold. So after getting our luggage we went in search of them. We went out to the street and asked at the Taxi Cab station how much a taxi would cost then we asked where Mears was and they pointed us that way. We walked down the side walk and came upon the Mears busses and we were guided inside. Once inside we saw a welcome booth and kiosks. We asked at the welcome booth the procedure and they pointed to the Kiosks. We followed the prompts and signed up. Once signed up the Welcome booth people pointed to the lines. The line was pretty short when we arrived. We would share a bus with the Animal Kingdom Lodge and All Stars. As time when on the line got longer and longer and the wait time increased. I think we waited around 45 minutes for our line to be called. Once we were called we headed to the bus. They asked us where we were staying and put our luggage in the correct hull. It was well organized. As we arrived at the Lodging they were able to just open a single hull and pull everyone's luggage out. Ours was the last stop. It would have been nice to be the first stop, but for the price you really can't complain. The bus was very plush. The seats were fabric and plush with headrests. There was even a bathroom in the back that no one used. Everyone was excited to be here and exhausted from traveling all day.

I checked and was directed to stand in one of the many roped off lines based on my hotel/resort destination. I arrived at 5:55pm and the first person in my line. At 6:07pm a staff member announced that there were several busses dropping of people on the other side of the airport and it would be about 20 minutes. One of these buses was for our line of people waiting. There was one large tour type bus outside and the line adjacent to me was the line for that bus. I noticed while I stood there for 30 minutes that bus was there for 30 of those 30 minutes before it took off. By 6:30pm no buses had arrived and there were only 4 people behind me and after watching the last bus sit and wait for people to arrive and fill up. I decided I was done waiting and I left. Used Mears to save money but in my opinion it was not worth it. I had been travelling all day and just wanted to get to my hotel so I ordered ride-share who picked me up in 5 minutes (once I found the ride-share area at the airport) and was at my hotel in about 20 minutes.

Shiesty, dishonest cab drivers who take you the long route if you don't know your way around town. If you have a short ride they will quote you and UNFAIR flat rate. I stay at the Grand Bohemian while in Orlando. I always need a ride to Amway area, which is a 5.00 fare. They will tell you 20 dollars! REALLY?!?!? Wow. I take a pedicab every time now, because those guys are HONEST. Sure I'm paying more than I would with a cab, about 10 to 15 dollars, but I'd rather give that cash to a hardworking guy, rather than a CON ARTIST. If a cabbie from this company does that to you, make sure you contact the city. I lost the info to report these fools. But believe me, if I do find that info, I'm reporting this company/cab number. As one citizen to the next, I urge you not to use these cabs.

What happened to the "prompt and curteous service" they promised on their website. NEVER, NEVER use this taxi service! Use Call-A-Cab--they have been around forever and are always safe and reliable.
