While they didn't pick up from my hotel unfortunately, we took a quick Lyft over to the Hilton Garden Inn Orlando Airport and Mark was there right on time to pick us up, even calling as he pulled up to let us know he was arriving. The van was clean and comfortable and everyone in our van was on the same cruise, which meant we had only a couple stops to make before heading right to the port. The price per person (about $25 plus tax) was cheaper than a Lyft and I know that next time we are going to Port Canaveral I need to stay at one of the hotels they come to and save a little extra $$.

Located in the center of Downtown Orlando, this train station is the best for events in Orlando. We took this train from Altamonte to DTO for a Solar Bears game! Theirs plenty to do in the area while you wait for the train! Plenty to see, plenty to eat and plenty of shops to spend money! They're building something next to this stop, I'm hoping it's a proper train station or some sort of outpost. Could be a food hall!

This is a totally relaxing experience when compared with the "free ride" period which ran at max passenger capacity. If you are interested in SunRail try it now while it's new and you have to pay. It's worth the cost. The joyriders made it a nightmare, but it's not like that now. I see the cars driving on I-4 as the train pulls out of downtown Orlando. I am so so happy to have a mass transit option, but SunRail is still working out the timing kinks here in Central Florida. This station - there is seating on metal benches and a short shade canopy over the benches at Church Street. It's okay seating, but unlikely it will provide much shade or protection from Florida's summer torrential rains. There is no dedicated SunRail parking lot here, but lots of garage and City of Orlando parking downtown. Come try it out, it's so much better than driving yourself.

I rate and tip well on the uber app. I feel for the drivers trying to earn a living. Under what I see as a flawed and greedy corporate business model. It's hard to contact Uber when something comes up. The web site is poorly designed. Receipts aren't always mailed out or updates when you tip late. It seems their main aim is to sell you side services. Uber seems to have cynically exploited advancing the taxi profession. Now they're the problem. My guess is they're "driven" by margin compression above all else. I wish there were alternatives.

I have been trying to get this resolved for almost 20 days, but customer support has been completely unhelpful. No one has taken responsibility or provided a real solution.
