I'm always down for a good Chinese take out date, but I wanted to try some place new. Yesterday, we ordered some takeout while we caught up on TV shows. The food was pretty good, nothing outstanding, BUT I was just looking for something new, and I'm glad I tried this spot. It was just good ol' Chinese take out. The fried chicken wing was pretty good and was seasoned with salt and pepper. We also ordered beef lo mein, house fried rice, wonton soup, and beef and broccoli. If you're in a pinch and in the Chandler area, I would give this place a try!

Decided to try this Chinese restaurant as hubby was craving Chinese food and the Yelp reviews were good. We ordered Beef Lo Mein and Mongolian beef. The portions were big and the prices were very reasonable. Was it the best Chinese food I've had? No, but I thought it was pretty good and totally satisfied hubby's craving. Also had a ton of leftovers for another meal. The food came out very quickly and the service was great.

After spending a mini fortune at the grocery store, J-WoW looks at me and goes, "But like, what if we got Chinese takeout instead?" You don't have to ask me twice. We like it at Mayflower. The portions may not be as generous, but the food is always good. We've been here multiple times, trying out their lunch specials and dinner entrées and we're always happy. The staff is friendly, quick to offer you bottled water on the house while you wait, and they never rush you when you're ordering. We have never dined in, having preferred our takeout in front of the television, but I'm sure the service is just as excellent. Come to Mayflower for some nice classic takeout. You won't be disappointed.

I ordered online food was ready within 25 minutes. I wa given the order as soon as I arrived. However when I got home, I realized they didn't give me the beef broccoli. Instead, I got something that is possibly Mongolian Beef. The food was good but not outstanding the prices are definitely good Maybe I'll go back and try that beef & Broccoli.

I highly recommend Mayflower! The food is top notch, generous portions and inexpensive! Seriously, every bite was full of flavor. I ate the Kung Pao Chicken and enjoyed every bite. The peanuts were fresh and more like a topping, not soggy and cooked into the dish. The vegetables were fresh and cooked perfectly, not soggy at all. The fried rice was fluffy and perfectly cooked. I barely ate 1/4 of my plate, because I got full off the yummy wontons and potstickers. The staff were intent on serving your drinks and food promptly and swiftly. Clearly I wasn't going to finish my plate. I was presented with a to-go box and offered a to-go drink as well. The restaurant is clean and has booths or big tables to eat with your family. I will definitely come back. This is the healthiest, most delicious food money can buy for about $10/dish.

We love to try new Chinese food places so we had to try Mayflower. We got sesame chicken, a happy family type dish, egg rolls, and soups. Everything tasted great. The food was fresh, hot, and flavorful. The vegetables seem high quality and so do the meats used. I loved the soups as well. The dumplings were filled well and the broths weren't too thick or too thin. I'd definitely come back again.

See reason for cancel- I was told the order was never received.

Awful experience. I ordered through Yelp. My card was charged for a take out order - not cheap. 40 minutes later I haven't even gotten my food yet. My card was charged when I ordered ( I expect that- I did my part-I paid) and when I arrived at the restaurant I was told "sorry no order". I was told to call Yelp. the order was "lost". I got emails and they got my money. And yet no one seemed concerned about the mixup. The people taking orders told me I wasn't supposed to use Yelp. I did it wrong. Ummmmmm. I jumped on your page on Yelp and ordered because the option WAS THERE. Now I'm out $53 dollars and have to wait for a refund for 3-5 days and now I just ordered and paid AGAIN. MISERABLE EXPERIENCE. I'm only here waiting because I'm starving. Another customer (as I'm writing this review) came in to return food and literally dropped food on the front counter after announcing it was awful. Do better Mayflower. I will NOT be back. Update: see photo of my email from grubhub- the RESTAURANT CANCELED MY ORDER- it was not "lost"

It's just OK. Very generic American Chinese. Nothing special, but not horrible. Have nothing exciting or negative to say, but probably won't come back since there are better Chinese elsewhere but it's not bad. We got the "family dinner" at $13 per person, which comes with choice of a small bowl of soup per person: egg drops or hot and sour, and one egg roll and shrimp tempura (?) . We went with happy family and Mongolian beef. The beef was dicey: some pieces were good and some really tough. The flavor is plain, but on the other hand, not salty. Great service but not enough flavor for us.

We are frequent patrons of Mayflower Chinese Cuisine. We LOVE this place! Everything from the quality to the variety to the price is excellent! We even catered from Mayflower recently for my wife's birthday, and it was a HUGE hit! Everybody commented on how much they enjoyed the food.

I went in for a pick up and the staff was rude and the food wasn't that great. The restaurant was so dark too.

I do not frozen vegetables in my food when I eat out. They need to use fresh produce.

When we got there the place was small and fairly busy but we were able to be seated quicker than I thought. I was surprised how quickly the food came out as we did order 9 dishes in which all of them were tasty! The server was welcoming and provided proactive service. He was always around to refill our drinks and take any empty dishes off our table. I don't know if we were just all hungry but all the food was yummy! My favs were the stir fry eggplant and minced pork with garlic sauce + Salt and Pepper Fish Fillet. They had a lot on the menu that I have yet to try. Overall our family was satisfied with the dishes we tried and the service was great!

Try these and see what they should REALLY taste like. 10/10 Secondly, the orange chicken ACTUALLY tastes like real, fresh orange!! Not overly sweet and doughy like most places. The flavor is phenomenal. Only thing is, I wish they were a little crispier but I'm sure you could request that upon ordering. Fried rice and noodles are also delicious! First time I got the dumplings there, and second time had them delivered. Equally delicious- which I was worried about. Just so you know! :)

Their hanging roast ducks will definitely catch your eyes and they also sell crispy pork and char siu. They also have hot entrees with rice and noodles, bento style hot boxes, and Chinese donuts. Sticky rice was pretty tasty with a lot of chicken. The shrimp dumplings were not very fresh but fine for a quick dim sum. They even have happy hour from 2pm - 7pm and the selected dim sum is only $3.99. Everyone I've encountered here has been very kind. It's a good spot to grab some fast Chinese food after shopping.
