There are little details everywhere you look and it feels fun, warm and intentionally designed without trying too hard. It is such a great space for a gathering. The food was delicious. I tried the weekly deviled eggs, a selection of charcuterie and cheeses, and the whipped feta dip with fresh cut veggies. Everything was fresh, flavorful and perfect for grazing during a cocktail-style event. The winter cranberry spritz was basically all of my favorite flavors in one glass. So so good. Their cocktail and mocktail menu really shines and I cannot wait to go back and try more. As someone with food intolerances, I asked plenty of questions and everyone was friendly, patient and helpful with both menu guidance and cocktail suggestions. That always makes such a difference. i was so very lucky to have had the pleasure of getting to try 9(!!!) courses at the oh so stunning…read moreJefferson Co. this past Sunday night! i have been a big fan of their first location, the Jefferson Speakeasy, for years because Alex (the owner) and his staff are truly unmatched. every conversation, every bite, every sip is genuine, purposeful and magical they have hospitality down to a science, the art of food and drink mastered, and the love for their RI community is truly one of a kind. who else invites a large group to a 3-4 course dinner, only to serve 9 well thought out dishes, served with craft cocktails, delicious sparkling rose, and smooth red wine so each sip and bite is unique and memorable. not to mention service was organized, systematic and seamless. guests felt at home--as all staff is beyond personable (per usual ) and all dietary restrictions were taken care of meticulously so that everyone's experience was special. i have honestly never seen anything like it in my life i don't stay out late on a Sunday night, especially in a state i don't even live in, so that is saying a lot about me attending this special tasting. my amazing server, Emery, knew i was getting antsy about it being way past my bedtime, and she packed our desserts to go, which was so appreciated as missing the banana foster was not remotely an option in my mind I look forward to many more wonderful experiences at this new location for many years to come.

For drinks I got a thin mint martini because they were out of the chocolate reuge martini I wanted. It was so yummy and came with 3 thin mint cookies. My mom got a pistachio martini and the Jefferson Tea. Both were pretty good but I wouldn't order again. My dad got Dead Mans Redemption which is good if you like bourbon. It comes with a wood topper and they light it on fire, let smoke fill in the drink, and then take the wood off. The drink then has notes of smoked wood in it which is cool. For food we got the crispy spring rolls and pepperoni flatbread. Both were so good!!!! It was absolutely worth the wait!!! I could eat the whole flatbread myself it was that good and I can't wait to go back and get another one. The crowd is definitely much older, not a lot of younger people around. I wasn't a fan of the tacos because the steak was salty and cooked more than I liked. The soda water was flat, like no carbonation. Please fix that when you guys have some time. The restaurant itself was spacious and the owner told us about how it can be rented out for events. I would consider renting out this space for an event, but don't think I'd come back for the food because it wasn't hitting the spot. It still didn't help. It was very tough to eat. It was stringy. I have braces. It was very uncomfortable. I couldn't really chew it or anything however, we did order it didn't come we ordered french fries I asked you have homemade maybe the homemade or we have the frozen. I said she's always checking so she checked and they had the homemade ones we had those those were amazing like we ate all the french fries we just could not eat the sandwich. It was very disappointing. It was supposed to be $13 but I'm glad we had it free from the passport because I wouldn't have paid 13 for it unfortunately it was one of the worst ones I've ever had. And even though she gave us a special menu of specials that are $10 or less Monday through Friday like sandwiches and fries or a drink or whatever we probably won't be back and I feel bad because she is a nice person. They said they've been open for a year and a half and I'm not really sure how because like I said we were just disappointed. They make decent mixers and beers are priced fairly. Overall not a bad bar, it's just the quiet atmosphere that makes me want to fall asleep when i go in. Unfortunately, nothing exciting here. Thanks
