This place is amazing. I haven't got a facial in over a year so i decided to finally come here to try out their services. I'm so glad I did. I went with the osmosis facial w/ microdermabrasion by Nancy. Shes so sweet, welcoming & knowledgeable of what she is doing. I try to visit whenever I'm in the Bay Area, a friend has given me a few birthday gift certs. This was my first time at the "new" place. So much nicer all around. I love the decor, shabby chic beach serenity. The room temperature was perfect, everything very clean and bright and comfortable. Ive never had a massage table that felt like a $1800 bed before, it was heavenly. I had the foot soak and massage from Lisa. She was very nice, and very good. The soak came with flavored fizzy water and a fresh sliced orange. YUM I liked that she talked when I talked and when I was quiet she was quiet. No pressure, except where it counted...on my poor shoulders. Tip; bigger robes or a kaftan and selling 'Fight Like a Girl' baseball hats, scarves or turbans, my hair is always messy when I leave and I always forget to bring a hat. I love to get facials, but the problem is that my skin breaks out so badly after the facial. I have gone to many high end spas and told the staff about this issue, each time I was told that it had to do with the quality of the products. Even at spas like the Ritz I broke out after a facial. I reluctantly tried again with Lana and was pleasantly surprised. Not only was the facial totally relaxing but I did not break out! She gave me samples of some lotions that would work well for my skin. I had been down that road before and was nervous, but these lotions were great and my skin did not break out! I am impressed. I have been to Lana several more times for facials and have never had a break out. Getting the right products and regular facials has improved the condition of my skin. I went and had a massage with Carrie the other day and I must say she is an amazing massage therapist, I wish I could have her with me at all times. One thing I really liked is she asked before I got in which parts she would like me to have her focus on which I really liked. It made me feel that she actually listens! She had me feeling relaxed, and calm in no time. She really worked on the parts of my back that were the tightest, yet she did manage to give a full body all over which was amazing. She uses techniques that I have never had used on me before and they were wonderful. Not to mention, she is simply just so sweet and friendly. I love her and will definitely be returning!!! I had an amazing experience here and would recommend it to anyone! The decor is lovely and the atmosphere is extremely relaxing. Currently, I'm experiencing severe dryness and blotchy patches - I was at a loss as for what to do. Nancy was patient and very informative regarding the different treatment options and products. I opted for the traditional facial. She carefully chose each product which would address the conditions I was concerned about, and provided very helpful at-home tips. I love the fact that she really listened to my concerns and tailored a facial that would address those issues. It's only been two days since my facial, and the difference in my skin is remarkable. I went in to Touch today for the first time to see Nancy, who was highly recommended to me by a friend. It was such a treat!! I got a facial and a body scrub. Nancy took her time and and made me feel so pampered he entire time. She started with my facial by analyzing my skin and using the appropriate products to accommodate me and my concerns (I LOVE the osmosis products). I had a Vitamin C facial yesterday and it was absolutely amazing. My skin was so refreshed and rejuvenated. It was my first time to go this place and Lana did a wonderful/awesome job in cleansing my face, partial neck and shoulder massage. She put something on my arms and hands with a salt scrub or whatever it's called but my skin felt fresh and smooth. Today was amazing, we celebrated my Mother in Law's 70th Birthday with a spa treatment. My Mother in Law, Sister in Law were all treated very well. We had the Sky's the Limit package. The employees were all very welcoming and did not feel rushed through any of the treatments. The ambiance was very calming and relaxing, did not feel like a cooperation. My Mother in Law loves the ocean so this was a nice touch to have a spa day by the sea. Since there was three of us they accommodated us nicely for the foot soak and planned it just right so we would all be done at the same time. I don't generally write reviews but Touch Day Spa is a winner. I had a back massage in one room and foot massage in another room by Carrie and they were heavenly. Carrie is attentive, friendly and good at what she does. The spa is tranquil, serene and well appointed. I've been to other spas that were noisy from too many clients, or had massages that were rushed because another client was waiting (booking appointments back to back). I can't wait to go back to try a different service - perhaps an oxygen facial. read more

Carrie gave me one of the best massages I have ever had! She was very clear in communicating exactly what we were going to do and asked a lot of good questions regarding my health and my preferences for pressure and where I wanted her to focus on. She was very intuitive when it came to the areas that needed a little extra work; her knowledge of the body is like nothing I've ever seen. After the massage, I felt fantastic but was kicking myself for only booking a 60 minute signature massage. We talked about other options for next time including deep tissue and reiki. I will be booking with Carrie for as long as she'll have me an I will be sending everyone I know to this beautiful (super clean) spa overlooking Rockaway Beach. Thanks Carrie! I just read a pretty angry review from a Dion R on Touch Day Spa. In response to this, I completely laughed out loud. This could not be further from the truth. Touch Day Spa is a 5 star spa! Lana and her staff are lovely people who extend a generous hand to all who walk through the door. Lana and her staff completely respect each and every client - new and old. Saturdays and Sundays are very busy and back to back appointments are scheduled. Every client is given the full time of the service they signed up for. So honestly, if a person shows up 30-35 minutes late, is it fair to expect the next person to have their time shortened because of this? I know I wouldn't. To the angry lady who posted her review, perhaps this should be a lesson. When making an appointment at a 5-star spa, be on time and learn to respect everyone else's time. My friend told me about Touch Day Spa and the first time I went in for a Signature Massage 60 min. It was the best massage I have ever had from Lana. I would highly recommended Touch Day Spa! I'm a 54 yr old man that was not well acquainted with facials and such but with age comes certain physical changes that I wasn't happy with. Although I am very healthy, take my supplements and eat fairly well, my skin was becoming very dry and flaky and not very attractive. I never considered the health of my skin, which I learned is the largest organ in the body...yeah, who knew??? I treated my skin only with over the counter lotions and such but it only masked the problem and was only temporary. Although I wasn't happy with my appearance, I never considered going into a spa for 'treatment'. My wife, who has beautiful skin and looks 20 years younger than her age, raved about Stephanie, her esthetician at Touch Day Spa. She talked me into going in for my first ever facial, including micro current. Honestly, I did it just to stop the nagging, but the entire experience was far and beyond what I expected. Stephanie is a very nice young woman who was clearly knowledgeable and competent, qualities that were very important to me. She explained everything to me, including what was going on with my skin and how to make it more healthy. The treatment itself was very relaxing and I couldn't believe the difference. All the products she used were completely natural and didn't leave my skin feeling as though it had been coated, which is what all the OTC lotions did. Although I went in initially to appease my wife, I am sold on this thing and am planning regular visits with Stephanie. One last thing....although I use Yelp regularly to check reviews, I have never written one myself but I am very compelled to write this because of the transformation and lasting effects. This is a great place and money well spent. If you're an older guy dealing with skin issues and have resisted things like this, take my word and book a treatment...you'll be glad you did. read more
