I have a high tolerance for pain, but usually waxing still hurts quite a bit. This was the least painful wax I have ever had. Nancy does a great job and as long as she is there I won't go anywhere else. Used to drive all the way to San Mateo, but this place is so convenient about 5 min away from my house and easy to find. This is a response to Lana and her claim of discrepancies in my story. I do live in South San Francisco. My friend does live in So. Ca but stayed in San Jose so she can make it to Pacifica to get a massage for her birthday.I have 2 kids (5 months and 2 year old) who I had to drop off at the baby sitter. My friend experienced traffic from San Jose. I'm glad you appreciate my frustration Lana but I DON'T appreciate you speaking on me or my friend's residence or circumstance as if you personally know us. Why would it matter where we are coming from? Why would you take time to even mention that? These are the facts: - Our appt was for 10 am. One was for a foot massage 50 mins and the other was for a mixture massage 60 mins - I got there at 10:30, my friend 10:35. - Lana said that they can't do any other service for us since there is no time left, even though they offer 30 min massages on their website and it wasn't 11 am yet. - if that happens, they can't reschedule you to prevent paying a cancellation fee, even if you're not cancelling. - their policy doesn't have any room to accommodate any unforeseen non emergency circumstances such as traffic and personal reasons. Thank you Lana for making my friend's birthday celebration a bitter one to remember. Thank goodness to the nail shop across the street who saved the day with their top notch customer service and accommodation. FYI, she drove back to So. Cal where she lives. read more

One word - PERFECT. I booked a signature facial with Stephanie for 9:45 on NYE! She is so sweet! Their space is absolutely adorable. Very feminine, neutral colors. Two thumbs up to whoever decorated the space. I started off getting a foot massage in one room, which was great because my feet were sore from my workout that morning. Then moved into another room for the facial. I really don't remember exactly what she did for my facial because I think I fell asleep(it was that relaxing!!!!) I do remember getting a shoulder, arm massage though lol. My skin was superrrrrrr soft after the treatment and still is!! As someone in grief, it's been a challenging time and she was very considerate. Just had the best facial by Stephanie yesterday. I arrived nearly 20 min late but she was so sweet about it and was able to fit in a full facial. It was so relaxing, her neck, shoulder, and arm massages are wonderful, I actually fell asleep for extractions. Today, my face is smooth, pores are clear and no blotchiness that I sometimes get with extractions. Lana has been my go-to for skincare and massage for almost 4 years. I followed her over to Touch from her last spot in Pacifica, and have been a regular since day one at Touch. I currently see either Lana or Maggie for facials and eyebrows, either Lana or Lisa for massage, and get lash extensions from Maggie. Everyone who works at Touch is the best! I always get complimented on my skin, and people ask what my secret is- it's an osmosis facial every 4-6 weeks! (I also love the oxygen facial.) I have had the 60 mins "The Whole Shabang" massage treatment with Edgie and I have to say it was well worth it. Then, I recently had "The Sky's the Limit" package treatment with Nancy and Edgie for a late mother's day gift and that experience was heavenly bliss! I hate to be the first to post a negative review. I am typically the person leaving 5 stars when 5 stars are due but that is just not the case here. I made an appointment for a signature massage after an extremely rough shift at work-I'm an Emergency Room RN in the city but live in Pacifica. I have been here before for a facial with Lana which was wonderful (five stars for Lana and that particular experience) but this day I was desperate for a massage. My appointment was with Carrie who was extremely pleasant however I essentially paid her $100 to rub lotion on me. I asked that she use more pressure as it literally felt like my muscles were untouched. She said I needed to make an appointment for the deep tissue massage rather than the signature massage if I wanted more pressure. I told her that I have had deep tissue in the past and it was really painful. She replied, "our deep tissue massage is not the typical deep tissue where it hurts" and then she demonstrated for a moment what a deep tissue massage would have entailed. It felt like a regular massage to me. My frustration lies in the fact that nowhere on their website does it state that their deep tissue massage is actually just a standard massage. I left the spa feeling completely unsatisfied and ripped off so I went across the highway to get a pedicure where I had the most amazing and relaxing 10 minute massage on my calves and feet. I wish I had started at the nail salon. I would have saved quite a bit of money! Update: I have increased my review from two stars to four because of Lana's quick attentiveness in the matter. She immediately contacted me, refunded my $100 dollars and apologized sincerely for my experience after reading my initial review. I wanted to wait one week to write my review. I went in for an Oxygen Facial with Maggie exactly a week ago. My skin was dry due to severe allergies and way too much Sudafed and other "necessary" medication. Being that I already have somewhat sensitive skin I was a little nervous. I have only gotten Oxygen Facials, and other treatments of that nature from my amazing dermatologist, and I still tend to break out or suffer minor after affects. I can say one week later my skin looks amazing. The dry, dull skin from all of the allergy medicine I was taking is gone, and my skin has stayed radiant since I have had the facial. Went to see Lana on a saturday morning in which I had a very special event to go to that evening. Normally I wouldn't have gotten a facial the day of because my skin is very sensitive. I was so happy with my results. She has a great touch which by the way I looked and felt she worked her magic. MY skin was not red I was glowing!
