Then when they finally did take me in, the customer service was horrible and the girl who did it seemed to have no clue what she was doing (she was very young - 21 years old and probably little experience). She used soft wax when most salons use hard wax for a brazilian and she didn't pull the root of the hair, just broke the hairs and so I'm still stubbly rather than smooth. just an overall disappointing, uncomfortable experience and yet they charge more than most salons for their service so I definitely won't be returning

Thats like Donato's price at square1. But the service is not as good as Donato. I think thats not reasonable increase if they are only trying to get caught up with the minimum wage increase and supply price hike. I think they are increasing way too much to compensate on their expenses with the cuurent opening of another location. Still had my hair done just to be civil about it, and tipped generously as the my stylist is nice. But the Owner (Raman) is not the same nice owner she was. I could have gone to a much reputable salon in the mall, with much cheaper price. Will never be back!!! Ripped off!

They say laser can help do that which in my case it has. Seru is just so sweet and accommodating. Yes, there is sometimes a wait but that is normal. It is expected wherever you go. I don't mind waiting because the prices are amazing and the staff are amazing too. Whenever I have a question or concern I can reach out to them in so many ways (phone, email, Facebook or Instagram) and I always get a prompt reply. The owner said that for myself and one other lady, it was because of our hair colour (light brown/blonde) - then how about you not take our money if you knew it would not work instead of taking our money knowing we are blondes and then saying after that it will not work because of the colour. Another issue with this theory is that the third girl had black hair and it did not work for her. No explanation for this. Part way through the service the owner told us we needed to wax all areas between each treatment. Tried, failed. Also waxing every four weeks is an expensive endeavour that was not explained in advance. I had leg and bikini laser in the past at another facility and it worked almost immediately - results fantastic. La Unique is just out to take your money with no accountability. Very dissatisfied.
