Not recommended..The wrost services ever I have seen for pigmentation at Brampton location..Rita the owner run this business under her licenses; but she never available during the treatment. I noticed there are untrained staffs there, Named Kajal (profession - Lawyer) who have started my treatment and burn my skins very badly..I ask for cure it and refund the fees $2050 approx. but they straight away declined. Never recommending these folks to anyone! They get you to pay for the annual appointments in the very beginning .. that too hard earned bonkers of money, so you are stuck with them for one full year. I was only catered for the first four appointments and then they keep cancelling and rescheduling your appointments. Horrible customer service and admin team. First I would like to apologize for my English, which is still not perfect. I purchased a 7 session package for $1400,00 on 2020/02/22. I did a single session that lasted about 2 hours and the technician was unable to finish the procedure on the entire tattoo. It's was the most painful day of my life. When I bought the package the manager said it would take up to 45 min for the entire tattoo. When the session ended I immediately realized that they didn't have the proper machine for my tattoo which is large and the technician didn't have enough knowledge to do this removal. In fact, after the session, the technician told me that they have never did a removal of a large tattoo like mine and she recommended me to ask for my money back because they were not qualified enough to do this removal. My arm was completely bruised and sore after the session. The skin was burned in some places. I have pictures. I called other clinics and did some research. A tattoo removal session should not take more than 30 minutes. If it took 2 hours and my arm looked so bad, it's because the technician used the laser more than once on the same spot on my skin, which is totally not recommended. I emailed the clinic asking my money back and called them several times. After I had a really bad time, they only agreed to partially refund. What I don't agree with. Now I have a lot of scars on my arm and I got traumatized with all pain I felt. I feel terrible when I where short sleeve or tank tops. After 2 years I decided to try a removal again at a new clinic. When I showed them my scars they got really scared. They said my arm looks terrible and now it's going to be much more complicate and expensive to remove my tattoo. Also my scars will not desapear without a treatment. After that I realized how unprofessional La Unique Laser Centre is and also that I have rights. I believe they should pay a scar removal treatment for me and also help me to pay my tattoo removal which is going to take more time and be more expensive because of them. I paid for spider veins removal I was told it will be 6 treatments which I agreed too and paid up.My first visit I got lots laser burns in my legs it was very painful I went back 2nd visit someone else did procedure that day thankfully I didn't get any more burns but, I was told that the scars I got from first visit they will remove it. I went for total of four visits and never went back because there were no changes in my veins except burn scars from my first visit. read more

Horrible management and customer service. I wish I had seen their rating and reviews before. They keep changing my technician in every visit even though I clearly requested the same person in all my visits. Even after cancelling and rescheduling my appointments, they keep changing the person. One of their technicians burnt the corner of my eyebrows and no compensation and apology were ever offered. They also keep excluding one or the other body part in every session saying, 'It's not included' or 'It's not required'. Every single appointment is mental torture for me now. If I had the opportunity to rate this place less than 1 star I would. First of all, the customer service here is horrible. I have had multiple occasions where I had to wait an hours for a 15-20 minute laser hair appointment for my face....that's ridiculous! This happens very often to many customers as people are always complaining about how long they have to wait. The manager, Rita is very pushy about making more money as she tries to convince you to get laser on other parts of your body you are not interested in. I get that they want to make more sales, but if I have said the first and second time that I am not interested in getting laser done on another area then understand my opinion about it and stop being so pushy. My sister had a much worse experience than me regarding her laser hair removal service. She has been suggested multiple times to get hydrafacials done for her acne, even though she has never talked about her skin issues. She is only there for full body laser, yet they push these other treatments onto her and make her feel insecure about her skin when that was never her concern. ON TOP OF THAT, the laser hair treatments have made many of the areas of her body and especially her face get even WORSE. She has much darker hair and she has hair in places she never had before. They always say that more treatments at a higher setting will work but it has been over a year and still NO PROGRESS. She has also developed acne on some areas of her face and back, and the laser treatments are most definitely the cause. This has destroyed my sister's confidence and now she has to deal with even more waxing since the hair is more darker on her face and body. They did not mention any risks of acne breakouts or darkening of hair when she signed the waiver for her treatments. All in all, these people just want your money and destroy confidence at the same time. read more

Although it seems like you're getting great deals and your consultation may leave you feeling like they are a knowledgeable establishment, please do not fall for it. Firstly, there are only 1-2 experienced technicians at this location; they are constantly training and hiring new technicians and they lack the experience needed to properly treat you (they're operating a laser!). As a result of this I've had inconsistent and poor results with the hair removal, have had rushed appointments, missed spots, oh and let's not forget - burns!!! Each time something went "wrong" they attempted to shift the blame on me: oh maybe you've been shaving in between, maybe you're taking extra protein or vitamins, maybe you have a hormonal problem..etc. The list goes on. As someone who manages her health I can confidently say that none of these things were true; instead, it was due to the inexperienced techs working on me and the way they conducted treatments affected my hair growth. In addition to the lack of knowledge and poor results, I can assuredly say that the manger/ownership is not approachable, especially when the blame is being shifted onto you as oppose to working with you to figure out what can be done (what was to be done in my instance was to pay for another set of treatments which I did not go through with!). Moreover, getting a convenient appointment is next to impossible. They give you a hard time to book the next appointment (for example, January and February) however when they say "you need to come back in 4 weeks or 6 weeks" but no appointments are available. As a result, your appointments end up being spaced further apart and then they blame you when the hair growth returns "oh you came back too late". Overall I would say that there have been 2 lovely technicians that I've worked with who are knowledgeable and honest (they will tell you that this is not permanent and requires regular upkeep while the manager states otherwise). For this reason I have then 2 stars. Other than that, save your money, do some more research and take your business elsewhere if you don't want to ruin your body with burns and patchy/excessive hair growth. I started going here when I was 15 and was told I would see a difference after my 3rd or 4th treatment - when nothing happened, my mum told me to stick with it since we had pre-paid for 10 treatments. By the 7th one, I still didn't see anything. When I brought it up with one of the specialists, she told me she could turn the laser up a bit so she did, which was fine. Then Rita (is that her name?) came in and told the technician to turn it up even more - when I told her it was extremely painful she told me it would be over soon. I have a pretty high pain tolerance, but this was too much for me. I kept telling her to turn it down, but she wouldn't listen. Also - keep in mind I was 15 - I started crying while the treatment was happening. When it was done, she told me that if I wanted to be beautiful I had to put up with the pain (that's literally what she said, can you believe it?) she also showed me a picture of her daughter and said that I could have the same results if I just stuck with it (despite the fact that I'd been through 7 treatments already). I never wanted to go back but my mum made me go through the last 3 treatments. It didn't make a difference at all. So not worth the money, pain, and terrible comments from the staff. I started my sessions two years ago at La Unique Laser Centre after an initial "meeting" with the owner Rita. She had me fill out some paperwork, did not assess my skin or hair but gave me a go ahead to start the laser sessions. A year into the treatment I noticed the hair on my face was growing back faster and thicker than before. It was growing in places I never even had hair and every time I brought up my concerns I was told I was not exfoliating properly. It got so bad that I was embarrassed to go out because there was so much hair on my face and I had never had this happen before. This continued for a year, at one point Rita even took pictures of my face. I went in and complained, had a meeting with Rita, she gave me 1 free (complimentary session), I came back after a month, had another meeting with a different manager or person in charge. This person proceeded to tell me they would give me a good deal, for only 200 hundred dollars I could get one year of treatment on my face. So basically I needed to pay more money for something that obviously isn't even working. If I would have had the same or similar amount of hair growth on my face I would never have complained or had an issue, the fact that I am left with so much hair on my face and now being asked to pay an additional 200 hundred dollars when the laser isn't even working on my skin/hair is horrible. In my last "assessment" I was told i should have only got the laser done on the places where I had more hair like my side burns and upper lip. I think this is something Rita should have mentioned in the first meeting before starting the sessions, not when everything is done and over with and i'm left trying to figure out how to manage all this hair on my face. I would not recommend this place to anyone and I would not go back here ever again. I also find it a little fishy that not a single review of this place exists anywhere but on their own facebook page and their own website where they obviously have control over who posts what and what to delete. read more

Went there for a laser treatment for my face (specifically more of my chin and my upper lip) my laser technician put the settings on way to high (I'm Fitzpatrick type 4) and burned me. They then tried to sell me something that would "soothe" my burns away. Shameless. read more

Avoid this place at all cost. Don't ever go there unless you want to waste your money like some of us have already done. I wish I read these reviews before going to La Unique Laser centre at Cottrelle and Airport road in Brampton. I spent $700 in total ($500 for first year + $200 for another year). Even after two years, Rita and her staff tried to get me to sign up for another year for another $200 which I gladly declined since I don't think I would receive better results in the future. They try to trick you to pay and continue for so called touch up treatments after your one year package is over. It's not a touch up though since I had almost the same amount of hair as when I started out. I was told to wax one week after each treatment. Her staff is not well informed. Some tell you to wax while others tell you to shave the hair. I never shaved my hair while the treatments were going on. I only waxed after one week of treatments. Rita told me that by the end of the year I should have results up to 90%+ hair removed. When I confronted her after 2 years of not great results, she totally changed her opinion about results. She said we claim that only 50 to 80% hair removal results. She completely lied to my face. Like others mentioned in their reviews. I find I have thicker hair on my face compared to prior to starting my treatments two years ago. Hairs grew even in places where I didn't have hair before. I probably lost 10% of hair at most. I am being lenient here when I say that. Rita kept saying "oh I wasn't exfoliating properly" like others mentioned in their reviews as well. It seems like that's her excuse when the clients don't get results. Like the other review mentioned even though they say its unlimited treatment per year, they book your appointments after 6 weeks and if you try to ask for appointments after 4 weeks, they say you should not be doing them that closer to one another. Rita doesn't follow up with you to see how your treatments are going. She only wants to see you once your treatment package year is coming to an end and try to convince you to extend and pay for one more year. This clinic doesn't provide proper training to its laser specialists either. One laser specialist almost burned my face to the point I couldn't take the pain and told her to stop the session in the middle. It was so painful. At one point, she dropped the laser head on my face and I had a little scratch on my face which I saw once I got home and didn't get a chance to tell her. There was blood coming out of it. This lady still works at this place. I saw here working at the front desk when I was there to talk to Rita recently. Like others mentioned, you should not use their Facebook page reviews to decide whether you should get treatments there since they encourage people to like their page and write reviews by giving their current customers free treatments. It is quite biased since they have control over what posts stay on their Facebook page (i.e. positive posts and not negative ones). They delete the negative posts. This laser centre needs to try to satisfy their current customers as word of mouth will get them a lot of clients, not dissatisfied customers like us who are writing reviews on these websites. P.S. I had gone in 2 years ago for my laser treatment for my chin and neck. I was told that my hair would be gone within a couple of sessions as I had done laser a year or two prior to coming here. I also had a consultation with Rita who reassured me. When I started going the technicians told me to shave, then switched to telling me to wax then telling me to shave again and back to waxing. My hair is STILL NOT GONE and it has actually INCREASED. I understand it will not be fully gone but it should not INCREASE. When I told RITA this, she told me that I should not have been shaving, but I told her thats what I was told. I paid 300 for 2 years and then she proceeded to tell me to get rid of it I would need to pay 150 more for a years worth of sessions. As I said I know it will not be completely gone but it should decrease for sure. This does not make sense. I will not be going back here as they are so unorganized, not trustworthy, and do not know what they are doing but rather are only after your money! If you want scars on your body this is the place for you. I am so irritated that I chose this place for my laser treatment. For a place like this, who specialize only in laser treatment, should know what they are doing. They burnt my upper lip once and now I have these horrible scars on my under arm skin. I initially purchased a one year unlimited laser package on my face and underarms for $500. When i had my first consultation with Rita she said that I would start seeing results after my 3rd or 4th visit. The employees constantly told me to keep shaving as it makes the hair thicker and easier to work with. But when i saw no results Rita told me i wasn't exfoliating enough and shaving was not an option, while her employees are saying something different. She got angry and frustrated as to why i wasn't listening to her but you need to understand that I can't walk around with a hairy face at the same time. The problem with this place is that when they say unlimited they try to trick you because they give you appointments very far apart and when you ask for closer ones they say that you can't do laser that frequently. Also, the staff and owner are extremely obnoxious and rude and don't even acknowledge you after they get your business. I wouldn't recommend this place because i saw no results and everything grew back worse and thicker. read more

I visited the Clarkson Centre on Saturday and had a terrible hair removal experience. It was my first time there and I wanted a quote on my chin for which I did sign up and paid for. At the time I also needed other services done as well. Arti did a fantastic job with threading my sensitive face but the Brazilian wax was the worse experience ever. The blonde (forgot her name) whined about me not getting laser done and instead decided to rip my skin continuously all the while saying she doesn't know how I can stand the pain and that I should do laser. Needless to say she was very rough and was trying to prove her point about the benefits of laser vs Brazilian wax. It was bleeding by the time I left and I still have scabs in the entire area bc of the rough job she did. I hope the owner is reading this and fires her and starts improving the service ... that's not how you upsell service. Also I would like to know how I can get a refund on the laser I paid for and haven't yet started. read more

Do not go here !!! People here are not professional. They hardly even greet you. They need to realize they are in the service industry. There are no clear instructions given to the clients in terms of shaving or waxing like the other person in the review mentioned. Rita (I believe the owner) is always trying to push you to buy more as opposed to making sure that you are satisfied with the current service. Initially when I signed up, I was told that its a painless laser. However, that turned out to be completely wrong as it is not painless at allWhen I signed up, I was also told that some of the body areas were covered in my package but later on they told me that those areas are not covered. I definitely recommend that you get something in writing that shows which body parts are going to be covered. Couple of my friends also go there and they feel the same (sales push, unprofessional etc.) I initially thought of referring another friend of mine to them but not anymore. Few recommendations: Fix your customer service, try to satisfy your clients as word of mouth will get you a lot of clients. I am still completing my sessions with them so if I notice any difference, I will come back and edit my review. read more

I purchased a one year package two years ago. My personal experience: I was pushed to pay the entire package upfront (very pricey!!). Then my appointments were scheduled extremely far apart (one two occasions were cancelled as I was on my way to the centre, and on another occasion canceled a few days before due to "overbooking" - only 1 of these 3 was rescheduled). I believe due to the infrequent treatments , different techniques used by the technicians (lazy at times) I saw absolutely minimal results. In some places where I initially had no hair growth I now see hair growth. 1 year after my last treatment I would say the treatment was maybe 10% effective on reducing volume of hair on some areas - others had no impact or got worse. Similar to other reviews online - I received a lot of instructions from technicians which often contradicted one another. A positive the centre has it is clean and nice looking however does not make up for lack of customer service. I would have appreciated follow up, not being pushed to pay my package upfront, and some consideration for how expensive the package was. Would not recommend based on my experience. read more
