Their chicken makhani is the most similar to the butter chicken here, we ordered it. We also ordered the Chana masala, aloo gobi and Bhindi masala. There's no Gobi Manchurian here, bummer. We also ordered some garlic naan for our starchy item to accompany all of the dishes too. Food would take about 25 minutes to be ready for pickup tonight. Was done in about 20 minutes. They brought the carry out bags to the table in the dining area. Checkout was quick and easy. The chicken makhani is good. Nice sliced, lean chicken and the makhani has nice flavor and a really good kick to it too. We tend to like our chicken dish spicier. The bhindi masala is also pretty good, nice flavors. Like the small pieces of potato or two in it, could have more in it. Had a few pieces of the onion ends in our dish. The chana masala and the aloo gobi were okay, but too soupy and not super flavorful to me. The naan bread was decent, not too much minced garlic on it, so it tasted more like a plain naan. The dessert has almonds in it, texture isn't for me at all. The butter chicken was definitely the best part of our meal tonight. Our bill total was $59.30.

The top photo is on the site. spinach and chicken. The bottom photo is what I got. spinach flakes in a jelly gelatinous substance

The chicken tikka says on the menu baked in the oven and it also came with an oily sauce

YUM! Yes! This place is so good! I ordered take out because of COVID and it did not disappoint. The chicken tikka masala was so good! Not very spicy, so it was just how I like it. The chicken curry was also very good. Usually curry is pretty oily but this one was not, it was creamy and delicious. Let's not forget the garlic naan! It was huge, soft, and perfect. The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the vegetable samosa. It kind of tastes bland and frozen. Other than that, this place was a good!

Food was delicious but the portions were so tiny, we ordered mild but it was so spicy. Chicken was not taste good. And tika masalas come with small rice.

I'd never had Indian food and up until one of the most recent Ms. marvel episodes, I really didn't have the persuasion to do so. It's funny how media can influence us like this. Anyway, we decided to give this lovely establishment a try and were blown away by the quality. Despite being in Birmingham, the prices are very fair and the ingredients are top notch. It's always nice to be able to see the chef cooking behind the counter and know that what you're getting isn't some frozen dish but an actual homemade meal. Will definitely be coming back again.

$8.99 per person for buffet lunch. I was having a craving for some Indian cuisine. Why not, let's do it! The place is hella nice, it's hella clean and it's hella convenient. The food is hella fresh as well. Chicken tikka and the chicken curry is my favorite, luckily they had it included in the buffet. Even their vegetarian options are really tasty. The na'an bread is amazing and they keep it coming in the buffet. I went in for two helpings and some desert. The service was great as well. The staff was very attentive and extremely accomodating. Every time we went back for a helping of food, our tables were cleared and ready for the next pig out session. Best part of it is that we got ourselves the Mango Lassi. Sweet milky mangoey goodness of the Indian sweet drink icon. Come here for a good satisfying and tasty lunch. That's for real!! Weeeeeeee! Life is great when the glass is half full.

However, this is the second time I've ordered the vegetable korma, and both times it has been very disappointing. This last time was the worst of the two. The vegetables in the dish are almost entirely zucchini and stringy broad beans with a few carrots and a piece or two of soggy broccoli. We're used to vegetable korma having a variety of fresh vegetables. The vegetables here are clearly previously frozen and they are all watery and unpleasant/overcooked. You can tell by the way they're cut that they came out of a frozen bag to fill space. More importantly, the sauce: This sauce is so full of large shreds of coconuts that it's almost inedible. Sure, coconut is part of vegetable korma, but it's usually not in giant stringy shreds that make it hard to eat if you don't enjoy that texture. It's also quite sweet (too sweet). Again, we are usually big fans but I would avoid the vegetable korma at all costs. It's usually a family favorite for us but not in this case. Overall, the sauces here for several dishes we've ordered tend to be too sweet and creamy/rich. We're used to Indian food being flavorful and rich, it's just that things go a little too sweet and a little too rich here.

The truth is, I don't want to share. I will hoard my precious bowls of butter chicken and forget all decorum. There is something beguiling about this sauce... and yes, I realize I'm talking about food. But you have to try this dish to understand my devotion. It is about more than the flavor which is incredibly layered, but it's so silky and rich that I could probably drink it by the cupful. Yes, I'm talking about food, don't look at me! Let me just eat in peace, with a giant spoon and a bib. I will even use a veil to hide my shame. The service is always friendly and lovely, and I think they might be a little worried when the tall white lady comes in all wild eyed and hungry. The ambiance is fine, as far as I know, my singular mission is to obtain the butter chicken, I am not sure if they have tables and chairs. The menu looks incredible, with recipes that are probably just as delicious as the butter chicken. But here is my problem... if I try another dish that is just as good as the BC, then what do I do?! I will be back here with another confession even more delicious.

Keep seeing lots of folks picking up orders and double parking their cars in the driveway to come in and pick up their carry out orders. Ordered starter Gobi Manchurian, veggie samosa, 2 dal soup, Chana masala, Tarka daal, mushroom bhaji and tandoori chicken. $94.24 They gave us the crunchy thin Papadum. Be careful while eating that the seasoning on top doesn't flip up into your eyes, it did that to my husband. He flicked off the seasoning so it wouldn't do it again. The Papadum is good. There was a random empty water bottle at the table. Table top is peeling, needs a refinish. I would put the fly strip in a more discrete spot and not hang it in the vestibule behind the counter. The samosas are good, dough is nice and light, like a wonton and it's packed with potatoes, peas and corn, which is a bit odd. It's better with some chutney. The Gobi Manchurian tastes good, just not crispy at all. The lentil soup is scalding, it's good. I like the roasted garlic in the soup and added some lemon to it as well. The Chana masala is okay, they put potatoes in it as filler instead of more chick peas. Other than the potatoes, it's good. The butter chicken is rather sweet, it's still pretty good. I am glad the chicken chunks aren't too big in this dish. Not a fan when it seems like the pieces are half a breast of chicken. Mushrooms aren't too bad. Not special. The lentils are good. Their garlic naan tastes sweet, almost, it's decent. The tandoori chicken is good.
