The CBH donair was honestly really good. The meat was super tender and full of flavour, and the wrap itself came together really well. Nothing super unique, but still very tasty and well seasoned. Same with the hot wings -- no complaints there, just a solid, classic wing. The only disappointment food-wise was the brisket poutine. It was a little sad and felt quite dry, like the elements didn't really come together the way a good poutine should. Unfortunately, we also found a small piece of a broken toothpick in the poutine, which could have been really bad if it hadn't been noticed. That said, the staff handled it really well. Our server was very kind and quick to address the issue. She checked in regularly and still managed to have a friendly chat with us even while the place was busy. The manager, Ethan, was also very apologetic and handled the situation professionally. He even took one of our wing orders off the bill so we only had to pay for one, which we appreciated. As for the atmosphere, the decor is definitely a bit dated. The tables have visible wear marks and the carpet looks pretty used. This is not Ruth Chris's. The only reason why they are not getting one star is because the burgers were juicy and tasty and the fries were crisp. I have no complaints of the taste of the food. However, it left a bad taste in my mouth on how much we were paying for a simple burger and fries. Skip this place. Find somewhere else.
