After driving my Grandma from Florida to Indiana, her car looked like a bug graveyard. She asked me…read moreto get it cleaned for her. Being extremely busy this weekend, I decided to just run it thru the wash. I didn't want to spend much, knowing we're about to drive it right back down to Florida in a few days and kill a million more bugs. So I just opt for the $9 basic wash. I know bug guts can be a pain to get off a vehicle, but I figured they surely had the right cleansers and such that would take care of that for me. I have to say, I'm pretty disappointed with just how much bug guts are left behind. It definitely won't appease my grandmother, so I'll have to go back and try to debug the front of the car and the mirrors myself. That doesn't thrill me, with my busy schedule. I would have left 3 stars, but their customer service was very spot on. They came out as they saw me driving up. The gentleman was friendly, polite, and quickly processed my payment. The guy that did my prewash was also friendly and thanked me before sending me on thru the carwash. I do wish I'd checked it before I left, but honestly, I also wonder if it's not partly my fault for picking the cheapest wash. Lesson learned!

Frankly, I've had some hit and miss dealings here. They have a fair priced selection of cleanings to offer through their standard pull up/place gear in neutral/hands of the wheel until finished operation. What makes the difference is how much prewash scrubbing the attendants do before going through. On this occasion, the guy did a really good job and my car came out looking clean and shiny. However, on some visits, the attendants didn't do much, particularly along the rear license plate area and I've come out with grime still there because of the shape of my car and the inability of the scrubbing machines to reach there. So, if you are in a hurry, the place can get your car generally clean, but you may need to do a bit of touch up at one of the stations alongside the building to finish. Review #1976

Well, my car got pretty grimey as I waited, but it's been well worth the wait. The membership prices are extremely reasonable, costing around the price that 2 washes would cost you. I love that the vacuums are available on both sides of the car, as well as clean rags, window cleaner, and air for the nooks and crannies. My girls absolutely love to help with cleaning out the inside of my car, and that's great because 95% of the mess is from them. Welcome to Camby, Wash N Roll. So thrilled to have you here.

It's the typical thing where you have to select your wash on the screen, swipe your card and boom you've got a car wash. 1 minute process. Well this car wash had this attendant. Nothing against him being hugely fat but he was. I mean bad obese. And I have a serious problem with my patience. So he slowly comes over to help me with something I didn't need help for. I didn't quite know what he was saying but I knew he was trying to sell me a subscription. He's bouncing all around the subject. I specifically told him more than once I did not want a subscription. It annoys me that I have to repeat myself more than twice. Then he says let me go over here and check on something or the other. I'm like fuck this guy, I select my wash and go to swipe my card. He's like "hold on hold on hold on" and slowly waddles back over. I almost told him to fuck off right then and there but I was in a good mood. "There's no need for you to lean out of your car" and he proceeds to take my debit card out of my hand... that's what really pissed me off, and he swiped my card 'for me'. I go though the car wash and it still didn't clean my truck or get the coffee off the door.

I went in looking for whatever level of polish I could get within a roughly $500 budget, and Rod ended up delivering essentially a three-stage correction within that budget. The quality of the work, service, and value were all excellent, and we were genuinely thrilled with how the car turned out. We had just purchased the vehicle CPO with about 30,000 miles on it. We bought it Wednesday afternoon in Virginia and drove it home by Thursday night. By Friday morning, some dried mud was unfortunately wiped off the paint, leaving several additional scratches on top of some clear-coat scratches and deeper marks that were already there. Vik Black is a beautiful metallic black, but it shows almost everything. We dropped the car off with Rod Monday morning. Our goal was not showroom perfect. We just wanted the paint to look significantly better without spending well over $1,000. Rod initially discussed around a two-step polish for roughly $450, but what we ultimately received was essentially a three-stage correction for $500. Comparable quotes I had seen for that level of work were well north of $1,000. The car was washed, decontaminated and clay barred, polished, then worked again with a heavier compound and wool pad in areas with deeper defects, followed by a final polish and wax. The result was fantastic. The car is not absolutely perfect under every light, but it is also a 30,000-mile CPO vehicle with some deeper scratches. For what we asked for and what we paid, the improvement was excellent. More importantly, this was a car we had literally just brought home, and after the correction it finally felt like the new-to-us vehicle we had been excited about buying in the first place. The service was just as good. I have increasingly felt that with most businesses you can pick two of three: great quality, great service, or a great price. Rod somehow managed all three. Rod originally expected the job to take one day. Around midday Monday, he called and left me a voicemail asking whether he could keep the car until the following morning because it could benefit from some additional work. I was in a meeting and could not respond right away. When he had not heard back from me within about an hour, he decided to honor the turnaround he had originally promised and worked double time to finish the additional work. The car was ready that same Monday evening. When we picked it up, Rod and his team were clearly proud of the work and excited to show us the result. That meant a lot. You can tell when someone genuinely cares about the work they are putting their name on, and that was absolutely the feeling we got. They were transparent, stayed within budget, and did more than I expected without trying to upsell me into something I did not want. I am actually pretty critical when it comes to paying a lot for detailing services, so I do not give this kind of recommendation lightly. In this case, I felt like every dollar was well spent. Rod and his team gave us exactly what we were hoping for, and then some. I would absolutely trust Darring's Detail with our vehicles again. Thank you to Rod and the entire team for making our new-to-us GV70 look like something we could be excited about all over again.

We notified Tesla and believe it or not, they showed the dent in their pre-delivery photos that they took of the car so after much running around and talking to people, Tesla finally is taken care of it. Many thanks to Rod and his team. again they did an outstanding job on the car. I would highly recommend them and we will definitely go back.

Be prepared to double your expenses. My poor experience with REINDEER started with the delivery of my car. At drop off the driver parked far away from my house. When I met up with him, he asked me to get in the car and proceeded to drive the wrong way down a one way road, drove 60mph in a 20mph zone, nearly flipped my car on the turns, and parked in front of the only gate to the neighborhood and refused to move not allowing others into their complex. He was very aggressive and obviously treated my car horribly and did not allow time to properly inspect the car. This was reported and the response I got from REINDEER was just "Thanks for letting me know". 4 months later my brand-new car with only 20k miles on it was taken to the shop where repairs totaled a couple thousand dollars. During this time the car dealership said without a doubt this was due to shipping as the car was inspected prior to transport. REINDEER was unresponsive and a claim was filed and denied with the only causation being that they knew they could get away with not reimbursing due to the time for the problem to become prominent. Worst customer service I've ever dealt with no remorse or apology. They are 100% bottom of the barrel for car transport service. Do not use them and if your company is using them, beg them to use someone else.
