I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!! I took my daughter for an ankle x rays and she didn't have insurance, so I ask the person at the window when they called me to pay, how much is it? And she said $110, so I paid and everything was fine until a month later when they sent me a bill charging me $70 xtra they never said anything about it, and that is totally wrong, (because of the action and not the amount), first of all because there was no insurance involved, so that adjustment is a rip off. It's a dump. The chairs are coming apart. The staff is not professionally dressed in any sort of uniform attire. I will say that they were friendly but ineffective. I had a MRI scheduled for 8am today. The lady at the front desk was polite and informative. I was taken back at 8am. The lady who assisted with the MRI was very nice. She showed me where to put my things and how to lock them up. She was very informative on the process and provided ear plugs and a blanket for me. I had a really good experience. The facility was very clean and well put together. I will definitely choose this location if I need anymore imaging tests done. read more

I had a diagnostic mammogram here on May 3, 2024. I was advised after the test that they discovered "something suspicious" and I would need a needle biopsy. The doctor said Touchstone would forward the results to my primary care physician. Today is May 29, 2024 and Touchstone has still not forwarded the results to my doctor. I have tried calling Touchstone but I can not get past their voicemail system and the minimum hold time is 15 minutes. I can not get the biopsy without the results. I can not get the results without being able to contact Touchstone. read more

This is the WORST place ever! I wish I could have read the reviews before coming in. My husband went to get a couple of procedure done was charged $700 and some change..after a couple of weeks I see the insurance has paid the procedure and are denying to give us any reimbursement! They also didn't send out a procedure until weeks later! I called our insurance to verify to see if the explanation of benefits was correct of him not having to pay out of pocket and they said it was correct. The staff are very pleasant. The MRI exam went off without a hitch. I'm still waiting on the 11th day post exam for the MRI to be read by a radiologist. After two calls on subsequent days to Touchstone I am told that my provider has to request to "expedite" the reading of my MRI. In what world is 11 days late called expedite. read more

This is the absolute worst place to go for imaging. I would give this place a 0 stars if I could. they had me waiting over an hour before they told me that they were running behind, I arrived at 7:55am my appointment was at 8:15am, and there were 2 other patients waiting in front of me. I didn't get seen until almost 9:30 meanwhile other patients arrived and left having been seen. When I was finally seen by the technician she did not even acknowledge that I had been waiting so long not even when I made a comment about it no apologies nothing just undress and we proceeded with the procedure that took probably less than 10 minutes and yet I waited almost an hour and a 1/2. read more

I've been trying to get an CT since early. First I was told there were no available appointments for 2 weeks. The week of my appointment I received a call the day before, saying they didn't have my insurance information even though it was give 2 weeks prior. This meant I had to reschedule again. A few days later I called to see if they were able to verify the insurance and was told I wasn't in the system. This turned out to be a misspelling of my name. Then a few days later I received a message that said my insurance was not valid. I called the insurance company myself to verify and everything was fine. When I called back to Touchstone I was told they couldn't find me again. Once they figured out my name was still wrong in the system, they discovered they didn't document the group number. I had to reschedule due to this error again. Now I received a called saying I needed to reschedule due to Touchstone not having any technicians on-site. Whenever I get my CT scan I sure hope there isn't anything serious going on that I could have treated weeks ago. read more

I have had more than two or three test done at Touchstone. MRI, CT multiple times and also their pulmonary function lab. The service was outstanding, everybody was so pleasent and would take a few minutes to talk to an old lady instead of rushing, and they explain what's going to happen to me in the test rooms. The nurses were great, always getting the IV on the first stick. They always promise to send the results to me and they do, but it would be easier if they had a portal access my results online like so many offices have. Desk girls in Touchstone Imaging Mesquite Tx have apparently been taught to STEAL from customers! Don't trust them! That's based on twice desk girl(s) in this business, including sitting at their front desk & on this business' workphone, tried to steal over $300 from me. Prior to my going to this place to do an x-ray, I knew from having read many negative reviews of this business doing that, including previous reviews from people implying been stolen from & those naaive customers then had to go thru many months of hassle to get their stolen money back from this place. Therefore I didnt trust this place but the specific orthopedist I had been required to use, requires use only this business instead of any other xray place & regardless that I had a new xray of that specific location of my body for this reason from an xray business which is a competitor of this Touchstone mesquite (makes me wonder if that specific orthopedist I used is in cahoots with this shady Touchstone?). Fortunately for me, before I want to this Touchstone mesquite xray place I read the many negative reviews of this place & learned to be wary. So before I went here, I and my health insurance company each proved to the deskgirls here, including via phone conversations from my insurance company to them, that my insurance plan pays 100% of x-rays. But then when I showed up in this place to do an xray, a girl at this business's front desk said that regardless I myself have to pay the full cost of the xray, which is far more than $300, to the desk girl upfront before doing any xray. Because legitimate healthcare providers don't request cash payment upfront of full cost upfront BEFORE even seeing any healthcare person inside that business, that also tells you that instead this Touchstone Mesquite business had been caught plenty of times trying to rip people off. If I instead had not read all the many negative reviews of this place Touchstone Imaging Mesquite, I would have gotten ripped off, stolen from, almost $400, & this shady place would have taken many months to give me back my money they stole. Thanks to many previous negative reviews of this place because if it werent for those previous customers warning me prior to visiting here, I would not have suspected & I would have been stolen from upfront by this place. I have kidney stones and nodules on my lungs. I have had many procedures from this company regarding the above. They double bill. On 2/9/21 they charged me $1628 for a CT. My insurance company will billed and said I only owe $1026.00. I get a bill from them for $1349.52 more. When I call the number provided on the bill I get rude costumer serves people. When I ask for a supervisor Alex (Alex phone had a lot of static and could only hear like every other word, he kept saying hang on, hold on.) refuses the manager to me and says they might call me within 24 hours. I call back and get a different person to talk to and he hangs up on me. This is the second time I had problems with their billing and them double billing. read more

Directed to Touchstone Imaging for a test x-ray, I expected to be sitting around a while. I filled out my information, gave them my insurance car (they take Blue cross), grabbed a free water and sat down. About 2 minutes later a lady came out and said "Pam"---- I waited, assuming that she was calling someone else, but after a few seconds of silence I said-- I think that must be me. She took me back, did a standing x-ray three times, and sent me on my way with-- A FREE COOKIE NO LESS. They advised me that they would bill my insurance and I was out of there. The whole event took less than 10 min. I spent longer at the pharmacy getting my prescription, then I did at Touchstone Imaging. This place is amazing. I went to touchstone for the appointment, after waiting for over an hour, they called me up to the desk and said that because I had had breast cancer surgery it was THEIR policy to ONLY do diagnostic mammograms (not what my Drm ordered) but they assured me that my insurance would cover it. If you're worried about your health, social distancing, and a healthcare organization taking precautions, then DON'T GO THERE NOW! First thing I noticed, after having to grab the door handle to get in, is there is no hand sanitizer anywhere. Second thing I noticed was how many people were in the waiting room. While they had moved the chairs about a foot and a half away from each other, they surely didn't bother with cutting down the appointments. The place was a little less than half full when I arrived, and more than 3/4 full when I walked out. I didn't see them sanitizing the clipboards or pens that they hand out to every customer. One person at the registration desk would have you hold up your ID and insurance card so she could get the information off of it, but my person took mine and handed them back. The x-ray tech and procedure were fine, although I wondered if they were sanitizing items in the back, since they didn't care about the waiting room. I'm not sure why I went to my dr. I paid my expensive copay & then have this place tell me to X-ray my food would cost $250 flipping dollars. Really! It's more affordable to go the the emergency at a hospital! If I would have stayed here & gotten service my total cost before any treatment would have been$300. That's how much I pay a monthly for my insurance. What is the point of having insurance??? Really how is it helping me. I couldn't get the service I need with it & this places was very rude.
