Such a fun and unique bakery experience! Paris Baguette is a really cool Korean bakery franchise, and it's such a fun concept. When you walk in, you grab a tray and a pair of tongs, and you just go case by case picking out whatever catches your eye. Before you know it, you have a tray piled high with all kinds of unique treats! They have everything from cakes and pastries to breads, and a lot of savory options like pastries with hot dogs, plus sandwiches and salads to go. If I'm being totally honest, the pastries themselves are a bit light and airy for my taste, and they do leave a little bit of an aftertaste. But the sheer variety of sweet and savory delights makes it worth the trip. It's just a great, fun place to meet up with friends for coffee, grab some lunch, or pick up a box of treats to bring home to the Hubby! I'd definitely recommend checking it out! read more

We went to Paris Baguette on a Sunday mid-afternoon and it was packed. We were lucky to find one open table to seat four of us. Parking was also easy, with spots both in front and in back of their store. There is plenty of seating. The decorations are spare since their food is beautiful - it all looks great. The place was very clean, too. Although, since they were busy, we had to wipe our table down. I understand they couldn't get away to bus the tables. They have a large drink menu and lots and lots of pastries and cakes. I had a latte made with oat milk, and the rest of our group had a variety of pastries. Everything was great. WIth over 4,000 locations across the globe (340 locations in the U.S.), Paris Baguette is the largest Korean bakery chain in the world (Tous Les Jour is a distant second at 1,650 world-wide locations). They are located in most metro areas where Korean-Americans tend to live, and my wife and I have been to a lot of them (though strangely, I haven't been to the one closest to us since its grand opening, earlier this year). They specialize in the chiffon type cakes that Asians tend to like. My brother wanted to pick up a slice of their whipped cream strawberry shortcake for his son...he was shocked at the price of $8, but my nephew really appreciated it later. Note that Illinois considers food from Paris Baguette to be classified as 'food prepared for immediate consumption', and thus is taxed at over 10%. Paris Baguette's commerical highlighting their holiday cakes drew me to purchase sweets after my holiday shopping. Parking at this location is great. Parking lot is shared with nearby market and several shops. Once I walked into Paris Baguette, I felt transformed. The place is inviting and large with many cuatomers either working online at tables or dining in. The various selection of pastries was pleasantly pleasing. I wanted to get them all! My to go order included: Chocolate Supreme Croissant for me and a Baguette (fresh and states current date on back of package) for my son. I have been a Chocolate croissant fan most of my life, and this croissant took my palate to another level: chocolate dipped, flaky croissant with a chocolate creme inside! Definitely an ultimate treat. The ingredients together were so awesome, I would order one each time I visit. Packaging of Paris Baguette is nice - I'd love to keep the bag. We were in Glenview and like to support local Businesses. We looked this one up and drove in. We almost didn't go in because it didn't look like much from outside. In fact, we thought it might be closed. Imagine our delight when we walked into this incredible patisserie wonderland. Wow! Outside looks were so deceiving. So many delicious pastry choices. Food - 4 Service - 3 Ambiance - 3 Value - 4 Consistency - 4 My personal rotation includes the strawberry cream croissant and it's pure happiness in flaky, buttery form, the croissant donut has that light hint of lemon that keeps you reaching for another bite, and the red bean buns are a soft and sweet. The coffee is strong, the service is okay but inconsistent. Quick note, if you're hungry it's way too easy to turn a quick stop into a full pastry haul. The pastries at Paris Baguette are a MUST try!! I've actually had pastries in Paris and this bakery takes you there! So many options to choose from it's hard not to fill your tray up with them. The coffee croissant donut is one of my favorite items, the subtle coffee flavor and the super flaky and soft cronut just melts in your mouth. The palmier aka elephant ear is literally the best version of it I've ever had. There are so many items from hot to cold goods, and they even heat items up for you if you'd like. I had this place saved as a screen shot In my phone for months . One of those " gotta go here one day" type places . Well today is my birthday and today was THE day . Located at the end of a strip mall with entrances in the front and back of the bakery . I was a little confused from their website bc I didn't know if they only had pick up orders but took a chance , nope they have plenty of assorted pastry's ready to pick up and buy. The pictures online are exactly what they look like in person too. The salted pretzel croissant roll seemed to be the big seller online so I made sure to grab one of those . We got some to eat there and some to go. The place is super cozy with half booths and tables . Great date place or large groups . They also have savory foods and fun coffee flavors . We joined their rewards club bc we are definitely going back very soon. I didn't see a basket for the to go foods and no one really was pointing us in the right direction so I grabbed a tray and another for the foods we were planning on sampling there . There are tongs you grab next to the trays also . We got up to the counter and apparently there were papers by the tray that we were suppose to put on before grabbing food so she said next time if we could grab a paper . I love Paris Croissant. In Korea, it's a main stay, every time I go, I visit a PB almost daily. Especially during bingsoo season which unfortunately, rare to find at the US locations. This particular location is huge and quite busy. If you go early, the selection is vast. Late in the day, it's slim pickin's. So if you want something specific or want to experience their true offerings, go early! The only shortfall of this location is the limited seating. It's unfortunate because there's ample space for additional seats. Tried the limited time offering Dubai Chocolate Coffee drink, frappe. Loved it! Service was very good as she advised that if I don't like sweet then I should steer away from the Dubai Matcha. The drink hit the spot for desert/coffee. It had the dubai chocolate, toasted kataifi & pistachio on the top followed by the coffee. Tip, stir up your drink so the good bits don't get trapped in the ice at the bottom. Ambiance was good as usual. Lots of people were picking up whole cakes so I will have to try a slice next time. It's a diabetics nightmare BUT I just can't help myself!!! This place is amazing but go first thing in the morning so you can get a true feel of what they have!!! We used to go in the late afternoon and they barely have anything, which is the only reason why I took a star off. So we always thought this place only serves mainly cakes. I stopped by in the morning for the first time and it was FILLED WITH GOODNESS!!! The croissants are crisp and flaky on the outside and soft on the inside. Everything we got tasted fresh!!! I do not like the other locations as much as I like this one. It's very clean, organized, and welcoming inside. That have a lot of specials for the fall season. I ordered the pumpkin danish and the maple leaf pecan layer cake. I LOVED the cake, it had such a great flavor to it and the pecans added the perfect amount of crunch to it. This is a lovely place to find delicious pastries (both savory and sweet) and cakes. What I like about Paris Baguette is their desserts are light and not too sweet. For new arrivals, there is a method when purchasing. It's not your traditional bakery spot where you direct someone behind a counter to select and box up your items. In fact, it's very self-serve here. About 75% of the pastries are encased but are accessible from your side to access. Simply grab a tray off to the side and a pair of tongs. Place whatever you fancy on your tray. When done, go up to the counter to pay. There are a few things where you'll have to ask someone to box up your items (i.e mainly the Viennoiserie, cakes and cake slice offerings). Went to Paris baguette today to get my nephew some pastries. He loved their mochi donut! It is not overly sweet like other mochi donut spots since it doesn't have a glaze but instead is dusted with sugar. They have wonderful croissants as well. Would recommend! It is on the pricier side for pastries but is well worth it. One thing to note is that they have calories for their pastries on their signs which is really helpful! The parking lot is easy to get into but may fill up quickly as they share the plaza with a market and other businesses. There's plenty of seating and the spot is kept clean. When you enter you grab a tray and tongs to make your selection. Once you've picked out what you want from the pastry displays they wrap it up at the front. The pastries here are good, but on the pricier side. For example, a plain croissant is $4.00 and an egg tart is $3.50. If you're looking for $1.50 - $2.00 buns that you'll find in many Asian bakeries, you won't find those here at that price point. The reasons for my 1 star review are that I came to this location to buy pastries and do some work. I only accomplished one of those because their wifi and electrical outlets did not work. Along the wall they have a long bench seat with at least 6 or 7 outlets. Initially I thought great, but then I tried 5 and none worked. Also, the wifi login is posted in several places on the wall, but it doesn't work. I asked a staff member and she didn't know about it. She just kept saying the login is on the wall. I get it. Sometimes a business' wifi is down and I wouldn't have an issue, but I'm seeing other Yelp reviews from a month ago saying the same about the wifi and outlets not working. Come on! The strawberry cake is delicious, very light tasting option. If you want something not as regularly available you have to order a few days ahead of time. Parking can be a but tricky because the plaza gets full, but inside the store it is always a quick checkout line. Thought i would stop to grab a coffee this morning and stopped at Paris Baguette .A very clean and spacious bakery located in niles with sufficient parking and great street visibility. I would have given this place 5 stars but the service I'm sorry was sub par. So I put an order for 2 coffees which looked like it needed just a few seconds to make yet took 18 min to get to me ...while I waited for mine I saw another lady walk in grab some bread and got her coffee all in 5 min while I sat waiting for mine . I ordered a variety of sweet items on the menu. I ordered a Mango Coconut cake slice, Sugar Mochi, Jumbo Twisted Donut, and an Iced Coffee Hazelnut drink. The place was spacious and had many tables to choose from to dine in. The staff members were friendly and catered to my needs. First, I ate the Mango Coconut cake slice. I tasted the mango in the cream, but when I ate the pieces of real mango near the bottom of cake slice it was hard and tasted sour. I was hoping it would be soft and sweet. The Hazelnut Iced Coffee tasted good with a slight sweetness to it which mixed well with my added almond milk. The iced latte loaded me with a caffeine fix that I felt immediately.
