    Taro Milk Tea with boba
    Ed D.

Came here on Easter since we wanted Boba and no other place was open...but this place has so much more with sweet crepes and waffle cones. We got the fruity dose crepe for $16 and I also got taro milk tea with boba for $7. Best advice...DON'T come here for boba! It's probably the worst boba I've tasted in a while. The boba was a little hard and not fresh. I also tasted my daughter's horchata tea with boba and the horchata was grainy and too much cinnamon. But the crepe was delicious so definitely come here for sweet crepes. Service was good and there's plenty of seating. The whole time we were there it was pretty full of customers. My opinion is they should focus on what they're good at and remove the boba from the menu.

My fiancé and I tried Dubai strawberries from another spot and realized Sugar Dose is the real deal when it comes to these Dubai strawberries so we came back despite the dissatisfaction from our first time here due to the service. They have the strawberries down to a science with the perfect layering of knafeh, pistachio cream, milky chocolate and sweet, melt in your mouth strawberries.

    4 PC mochi

I visited Sugar Dose and was hopeful for a delicious dessert but sadly, it was just okay. We ordered their mochi waffles in 4 different flavors: strawberry, lotus, chocolate and pistachio. Now here's why I am giving it 3 stars instead of 5: The strawberry sauce tasted like a basic Hershey strawberry sauce. The other flavors were decent with the pistachio was the only tasty one. The consistency of the waffles wasn't chewy like I expected it to be like mochi usually was. Also the service was a bit of a downer because I was getting heartburn and asked for a glass of milk with my order. Instead of charging me a buck or two they said a small glass of plain milk would be $4! I feel like they need to cut down their menu and just focus in on what they are good at. No need to keep mochi waffles on the menu and focus on the ice cream cones and crepes instead.

    Lotus kunafah cup

Stopped by Sugar Dose to try the viral Dubai chocolate and we were definitely not disappointed. We came at around 6 pm on a Saturday, and the place was packed. They have a handful of tables, but many people just picked up their orders and left. The milkshakes and crepes seemed to be what most people were getting. We opted for the pistachio kunafah bar and the lotus kunafah cup. The pistachio kunafah bar was decadent. The chocolate was smooth and rich, and the filling had a nice crunch. The pistachio taste did not overpower the chocolate, and it was not too sweet. The lotus kunafah cup was our favorite. The strawberries pair well with the chocolate and lotus sauce. The kunafah is a great addition for texture and flavor as well. For a dessert option, Sugar Dose is slightly expensive. However, the quality and taste of their creations is well worth it in our option.

Nutella, chocolate, pistachio and strawberry mochi waffles

The mochi waffles are really awesome. We got Nutella, chocolate, pistachio and strawberry. It took time to make, so be patient. But the time was worth the wait. It's in a strip mall, the vibe is nice. There are tables to wait and eat.

I stopped by to the Sugar Dose today to see what the hype is all about - from outside the spot has a standard ambiance but inside they have a cool chocolate fountain and is very nicely lit up. Customer service was fast in terms of taking our order but depending on the rush the time may be longer for you to receive your treats. I ordered 6 strawberry pieces covered in chocolate and an order of the Nutella Bubble Dose for a grand total of $27.48 - pretty expensive. The Nutella Bubble Dose was solid! Definitely recommend this but the strawberry was sour :/ Worth checking out once for sure!

I hope I can save someone from going there. Arrogant people taking orders the menu looks great but it's definitely very overpriced. The food was bad we only got icecream and the strawberry Dubai dessert and it wasn't good.

Not the best photo of the menu but

Greeted when we walked in and had time to look at the menu without being pressured into ordering , which was nice. Staff has really nice hospitality! Saw a takeout order being prepared by staff and their to go packaging was super cute, function, and eco friendly (: it was branded cardboard I think. They also had branded napkin holders which I thought was cute. The ambiance inside this cafe was cute, modern, and clean. Waited patiently for my dine in order and could hear staff freshly making my crepe. Will say definitely worth the wait!

Came here especially for the Lotus Biscoff Crepe! Highly recommend you all to try this spot if you're craving something really sweet !! Definitely it's sugar dose but once a while, why not right :) The service is pretty fast as well. Really nice staff! The ambience is really cute. My videos attached and pictures say it all :) Definitely check out this local business and give them a try! Won't regret !!!

The desserts we ordered were full of fresh fruit and deliciously home made. The inside of the restaurant was clean and a great spot to enjoy our treats. We can't wait to go back.

    Pistachio Dose
    Sharadha R.

We ordered Pistachio Dose through Doordash. The crepe was good with a generous spread of pistachios, Nutella and pistachio sauce. It was too sweet and sugary for me but my partner enjoyed it.

    Menu. Lots of options!

This place stays open late and has quite a few dessert options if you need a place to go at the end of a date. It is so cute and clean and has about 6 tables to sit at if you want to eat there. The boba drinks are delicious and the crepe dessert was so good. The crepe was very sweet, but they have flavors of boba drinks that aren't overly sweet if you don't like too sweet. My friend got a Nutella ice cream bubble waffle that wasn't overly sweet either and was so good. We also told them it was my friends birthday and they played a birthday song! The staff are all so friendly and the desserts and drink came out really quick. Definitely going to go back.

I love that they are open late at night and they have a good variety of the viral Dubai chocolates and unique flavors of ice cream and crepes. The workers are also really nice. I will definitely be back.

Prices are a little outrageous. The lines are gone, but $32 for 2 ice creams is a bit much.

You could drive right by thinking it was a vacant building except for all the cars in the lot. The notion of vacant building is dispelled immediately upon entry. The place is busy, loud, vibrant with customers clearly enjoying the food and experience. The interior is decorated simply, with muted colors, is well lit, and clean. There are a lot of hard surfaces which makes the ambient noise level fairly high; however, it did not detract from the experience (but just be advised in case you feel this is bothersome). We were greeted warmly and though the place was packed, we were seated quickly. Despite the diner-like vibe, there is no counter, just tables and booths. Our server was prompt, very pleasant, and efficient. The coffee was hot and flavorful. The food: Large portions, well prepared, warm, savory, satisfying. The loaded Cheers omelette, with hash browns and pancakes, was more food than I could enjoy in one sitting so I have leftovers for tomorrow. Prices are in line with more reasonably priced independent eateries. A two-egg, hash browns, pancake combo is $14. This place will be an option in the future.

But I decided to try the HAM & CHEDDAR EGGS last weekend w/ fruit. The eggs and cheddar cheese and minced ham was delicious. Definitely one of the best (if not the best) I've had of eggs out. Most times - omelets are massive and fluffy with little cheese and egg dishes get dried out. NOT the case at all for me. Very moist - right amount of cheese and great ham. I would highly recommend this dish. Our server was great (Dairo) and he was the correct amount of attentiveness. Great meal out!

The homemade salsa was also just alright; some pico de gallo and a little sriracha would've added the extra flavor it needed. We also had the Senior Special VIP, and everything on that plate tasted very good. The HB chicken club wrap was another standout--really flavorful and well put together. It came with a side of fruit that didn't look the best, but the wrap itself made up for it. For drinks, we had water, tomato juice, and an iced vanilla latte. The latte had way too much vanilla and was overly sweet for my taste. Service was great--our waiter was attentive, the restaurant was clean, and the food came out quickly. I'd come back to try their French toast next time.
