I am originally from California so I've been receiving treatment from Face Reality's headquarters but from 2014-2015 I lived in Dallas. During my brief year in Texas, my skin was severely dry and breaking out like crazy. I tried using all kind of moisturizing cream but I just couldn't get my skin to hydrate enough. I did some research from the Face Reality site to see if I could find an esthetician in Texas so I could continue my routine. Luckily, Nancy's office was somewhat close by and she also had been trained by Laura so I was super happy to see her to help me with my skin. At this time I was near Farmer's Branch so the drive to Frisco was lengthy but worth it (in my opinion). Nancy was thoughtful and listened to my struggles with the dry weather and acne. She provided the same treatments that I had at Face Reality's headquarters and she also carried many Face Reality products as well! I was so happy I would be able to pick up products instead of having to wait for them to ship to my apartment. My skin improved immediately as soon as I started getting the chemical peels and extractions. I was so used to thorough extractions from the California office that I was surprised how quick and painless my extractions were with Nancy (or maybe I just didn't have many pimples!). Expect the appointment to be around 30 mins total. Of course this could be longer depending on the severity of your acne. Her office is in a small plaza with a small parking lot. The times I've gone for appointments, I was always able to find parking but if the lot is full, there' street parking since the surrounding area is in a residential area. Overall, if you are suffering from acne and dryness, I'd recommend to at least get a consultation with Nancy. Face Reality has helped (and is continuing to help) me with my adult acne, and you won't be sorry because the products and routine really does work!! :) Thank you Nancy!

Nancy validated all of my concerns and actively listened when I told her about my struggles with acne. She doesn't just give you a skincare plan (anyone can do that). She gives you diet and lifestyle changes to consider and also gives you lists of ingredients to avoid in your hair, skin, and home products and in your food! I thought I was very conscious about my products and my diet, and then she politely steered me in a better direction. If you're looking for alternatives to anything, she can help you find them AND they will all be acne safe! In addition, if you have sensitive skin, she's your best bet. My skin is VERY sensitive and I have reactions to nearly everything! She tested different products on me and found a routine that was safe for my sensitive skin and even helped me toughen my skin up so it's not as reactive as it once was. Trust the process! Take lots of pictures! Your skin will slowly but surely start to improve. It has been a night and day difference for me and I've only been seeing her for 7 weeks! Investing in your skin will be the best investment you ever make. I started this journey to get clear for my wedding in the spring, but I'm quickly realizing that this is a lifestyle I really enjoy!

I was a loyal client of this med spa for nearly five years, hoping to see meaningful results with my skin. Unfortunately, that never happened. From the beginning, I noticed that recommendations felt more focused on selling the newest treatments or expensive products rather than truly understanding what my skin needed. I followed their advice consistently, investing thousands of dollars in treatments and high-end creams -- all used exactly as directed. The results were always temporary. My skin would feel nice for a few days after a treatment, but there was never any lasting improvement. Every time I expressed concern about the lack of results, I was told it could be due to hormones or some other issue, and then they'd suggest yet another cream or a different treatment -- repeating the same cycle. I trusted their expertise for years, assuming maybe they were right. I decided to try another med spa -- and the difference was night and day. The new place actually assessed my skin type thoroughly, suggested AFFORDABLE products that suit my skin from amazon and I started seeing real, consistent improvement. This made me realize that what I needed all along was a more personalized, thoughtful approach -- not a sales pitch. Looking back, I feel incredibly disappointed knowing how much time, money, and hope I invested for very little return.
