Boat rental next to the club

My husband and I had our wedding here in February and it was perfect! We utilized the glass area next to the club that you can add on for our ceremony and held our reception on both the inside and outside. We had a smaller wedding only about 100 people but it was perfect for what we needed with extra room to spare. We set up our own tables and chairs and brought our own decorations. It's definitely a do it yourself venue but for the price and being on the bay we couldn't pass it up. Limitless places for pictures as well!!

My husband and I can't stress enough how amazing this venue was! We are so glad we found tower beach club! What a hidden gem. Their communication with us and our coordinator made the day of so smooth. We couldn't have had a better time at their picturesque spot.

We had our wedding/reception at the Tower Beach Club and it was amazing! The space was perfect and allowed us to have a photo booth trailer on the lawn, taco station, big dance floor on the deck, room for the DJ, couch seating with a propane fireplace, bar access from the inside and outside areas, custom ice cream sandwich station...oh and probably the best views in San Diego looking out over the beautiful Mission Bay at sunset! Highly recommend check this venue out for your wedding.

    Is there Parking?

There is a public parking lot next to us that has 100 spots. However, in summer the lot is always full with people going to the beach.

I was just trying to grab a single mixer, yet it took way longer than expected because there didn't seem to be any clear system for serving people. It also didn't help that most people were ordering canned cocktails--which should have kept things moving--but the line still felt disorganized. On top of that, people were cutting in line without any staff stepping in, which made the wait even more irritating. What really stood out was the lack of water availability upstairs. When I asked about it, the bartender gave a vague explanation about water not being allowed upstairs, which honestly didn't make much sense. I get that there may be policies, but offering bottled water for purchase seems like a simple fix--and that wasn't an option either. Overall, it's a decent spot if you're just looking to grab a drink and hang by the pool, and the vibe itself is nice. That said, I want to stay fair--this is just my experience, and I'm sharing it so others know what to expect. Since it's part of a hotel, it does feel like guests may be prioritized, so if you're not staying there, just be prepared for a potentially slower, less organized experience.

The fact that I never noticed this place kinda freaked me out really. Fast forward nearly 5 years.... I needed a space to host a Animal House Style Toga Party to celebrate my birthday. I didn't want to have the party at my house because neighbors, loud music and free flowing booze don't mix well together. While walking back home after having coffee with my husband and lamenting the cost of renting a space for my party, we passed the Masonic Lodge Hall and he said, 'why don't you have the party here'. HUH? Where? Here??? What IS this place? The Lodge looks kinda scary from the outside. Actually it looks sort of scary inside too, but it fit with the Toga theme of my party perfectly. It's just very dated inside with light blue paint, white columns on the walls and a hokey painted mural. Sold! The men at the Lodge were so kind to us, they gave us the hall early on the day of the party so we could decorate which really helped liven the place up a bit. All of my friends thought we were so clever to have found the Masonic Lodge and rented it for the party...most of them have lived in LJ for many many years and still never even knew it was there. The whole evening was a smashing success and the Hall rental only cost about $165 including use of the kitchen, tables & chairs. You can't be that with a Fez!

It was a lot of fun making a mess with dirt and different succulents. The succulents are healthy and there's a wide variety of pretty cool-looking ones. I feel like it's a pretty good bang for your buck, considering that your arrangement is pretty much however many plants you can stuff into your box. Tip: If you want your succulents to pop out, fill your box to the top with dry dirt before arranging your plants on top.
