We were here for a Birthday Brunch and had a great time. We sat outside and the weather and views were amazing. We had the Tower23 Seafood Tower off their new raw bar menu. Everything on the tower was on point. Three of us had no problem finishing off the tower as a meal. Andrea was very friendly and knowledgeable and did an excellent job waiting on us!

Philip was amazing all smiles and super hospitable. Great food and beautiful views of the sunset. Must try and experience. Filet was cooked to perfection.

I have been coming to this spot for over 10 years. It's inside the hotel, but definitely worth a visit. The restaurant sits on the bottom floor and has views of the beach. They have a large brunch selection. They also offer sushi rolls. This last time I had the yogurt bowl and it was great. I've also come to their NYE event in the past, this is a great staple of PB. They used to let you sit on their outdoor patio on the second floor for sunset - I wish they would bring that back!

Vic and Chase were the best part of our total experience. Kind, attentive and just overall good humans. They were knowledgeable when it came to the menu and were able to suggest drinks that aligned with my tastes. I loved the peach Bellini and the raspberry mojito. We had really yummy mango Mexican candy shots. The oysters are always super fresh and delicious. Chase was able to tell me where they were from. It's always helpful when the team at an establishment knows the details about the menu. Chase should really be a bartender with how helpful he was with all of the bar backing stuff that he was doing. He knew a lot about the drinks and what was on tap. Vic, he was an incredible bartender. So nice and personable. He helped us pick out what we wanted to eat. He suggested the mussels and we loved the chorizo and the charred bread. Vic and Chase really made our visit feel very special, even though it was a random Tuesday. Thanks guys, we appreciate you.

Very lovely to place to sit on the outdoor patio and look at the beach! They have a great happy hour between 3-5 with $1 oysters from 3-4. It is super seafood heavy, so beware for people who would rather a meat and potatoes place. Staff is super lovely and accommodating. Excellent service! They also have lots of of wine by the glass and fun cocktails.

When my wife and I want to do a staycation this is our go-to in San Diego. We love that it has a beach vibe but with a modern flare. They offer both partial and full ocean views, along with regular rooms throughout. Within walking distance, you have so many different types of restaurants and shops, plus the Pacific Beach pier is right next to the hotel. If you're looking for an awesome walk on the beach, you're literally just a few feet away. The shower water pressure is a little lighter than we would like, but that's just our personal preference and it won't keep us from continuing to make this one of our favorite spots. It's a little pricier than others that are away from the beach, but we think it's definitely worth the money. They also offer valet parking, which makes it great because parking in the area can be tough. Last time we upgraded to a suite and loved every second of it. We'll be back for sure.

I have tried to give this place many tries, and after my last dining experience I just don't think I will come back. Food is honestly a hit or a miss and with the price, it should be good-right? I think it's more of a tourist trap. The last time I dinned here, me and my mother made reservations. I get it was a busy night, however, we got sat all the way in the back patio...there was barely any lighting, no heater lamps, and the service was not that great. The only thing on the menu that is good in my opinion is the steamed muscles. They are very juicy and have a kick of all certain flavors! (Order extra bread to dip in the sauce). My mother ordered the steak with sides. Honestly it was a regular meal, nothing out of the ordinary. Overall, like I mentioned before, this is a tourist trap:(

Really nice modern hotel in a prime location in PB. The rooms are spacious and clean. The oceanfront rooms are great, as they are facing the boardwalk and nice for people watching. The parking is $35 a day, valet only. Service is very good, and the staff is friendly and helpful. We rented bicycles a few times (free with your stay). Some of the bikes are not in great shape, but it was fun nonetheless. Definitely would stay here again!

We loved our stay here. Very lovely place. It is near many shops and restaurants. We appreciate Steven (Front Desk) who helped check us in and who went above and beyond. He made sure we stayed at the room we reserved (even though our bank sent the wrong details).

Drove down from LA 3/19 to meet some friends. Julie was a great server! Best valet experience I have ever had. Very polite even though he was alone and very busy. Most professional valet ever. Valet is two hours free with validation. I went over and it was just $15. You can park in shopping center lot if you can find a spot but your choices are two hours $20 or six hours for $40 when you scan the sign. Con: no guacamole! Con: wish valet could have a Venmo code at the desk for his tip. Tip: get there around 3-4 and beat hh rush. Usually no problem getting seating. Great location right on the water.

This spot is good if you're wanting to watch a big game, or if you're wanting to sit outside and have a lunch! The inside is quite rowdy during a game, so we sat outside and had a nice dinner. It's along the boardwalk so you can take a nice walk after you eat too! The food was pretty good!

The fact that I never noticed this place kinda freaked me out really. Fast forward nearly 5 years.... I needed a space to host a Animal House Style Toga Party to celebrate my birthday. I didn't want to have the party at my house because neighbors, loud music and free flowing booze don't mix well together. While walking back home after having coffee with my husband and lamenting the cost of renting a space for my party, we passed the Masonic Lodge Hall and he said, 'why don't you have the party here'. HUH? Where? Here??? What IS this place? The Lodge looks kinda scary from the outside. Actually it looks sort of scary inside too, but it fit with the Toga theme of my party perfectly. It's just very dated inside with light blue paint, white columns on the walls and a hokey painted mural. Sold! The men at the Lodge were so kind to us, they gave us the hall early on the day of the party so we could decorate which really helped liven the place up a bit. All of my friends thought we were so clever to have found the Masonic Lodge and rented it for the party...most of them have lived in LJ for many many years and still never even knew it was there. The whole evening was a smashing success and the Hall rental only cost about $165 including use of the kitchen, tables & chairs. You can't be that with a Fez!
