I'm so glad that I discovered this place. There are indoor seating downstairs and rooftop seating. The view of the beach from the rooftop is spectacular. I went during sunset and it was just perfect. It's taco Tuesday and their 50% off tacos deal is amazing. I ordered three tacos for $10! Each taco was a good size and loaded with meat. I was stuffed after two tacos. I grabbed dinner here with one of my friends and it was such a cute spot. The rooftop has one of the best sunset views and it's right by the beach, so it makes for a perfect evening. You can even take a walk after and enjoy the view. The drinks are a little pricey, but the food is well priced in my opinion. I got the steak platter and my friend got the shrimp tacos, and both were amazing. We also shared calamari rings and they were so good. Honestly I would go back just for the view and the service alone. The waiters are so nice and friendly, they make you feel so comfortable and welcome. If you're trying to get a table outside, I recommend getting there around noon for lunch, it began getting crowded in the patio around 1-2pm. Beautiful aesthetic interior, Miami Beach vibes. If you order the Ghosted drink but substitute different flavors can't even taste the alcohol (if that's what you like for a drink). THE BEVERLY BEACH GARDEN @ PACIFIC BEACH Parking is available in the complex. This place is located on the second floor of Lake Plaza, and there are also several other businesses that are part of the plaza. You can park in the lot there, but I'm not completely sure if they charge for parking. There is also free street parking nearby, which is what I ended up choosing. Since it was St. Patrick's Day, I already knew it was going to be extremely busy. When my friends and I arrived, there was already a line. You do have to walk up the stairs to enter, but once we got there, they checked our IDs and the line moved very quickly. As soon as you walk in, the place is honestly beautiful. It's very spacious and has three floors. The second floor is where you check in and where the main bar is located. This is also where most people hang out and where you can order food and drinks. I loved the aesthetic very clean white vibes and you can look up and see the level above you. That's where the third floor comes in, which has a beautiful outdoor patio. There's also another bar outside, plenty of drinks, and lots of people walking around and socializing. The first floor downstairs has more of a nightclub vibe, which is also really fun. Overall, the place is huge and such a fun spot. I came here on a Saturday evening and really loved the overall vibe. I unfortunately didn't get a chance to try any of the food yet, but we did order a couple drinks and had a great time. I would definitely recommend stopping by. read more

The view on the deck is to die for. We sat down at 3:10 and asked about happy hour. Very sweet and attentive bartender/wait person didn't know then came back and told us drinks are 1/2 price. We both ordered a draft. She came back for food order and we asked if there is a happy hour menu. She said yes, all apps are 1/2 price. We ordered 2 apps. We hung out - had 3 draft beers each, I mean why not / it's happy hour pricing. Then we get the bill. Beer was full price ??? We had a 6:45 PM reservation for 8 on a Thursday and asked to sit upstairs, but were told they couldn't accommodate us -- even though there was only one other table seated on the main level at the time. The space is beautiful with lots of greenery, water features, and a koi pond under a glass floor. The entrance is a bit hidden (it's upstairs), but the location is great, and happy hour has solid deals. You also get 2 hours of free parking with validation, which is a nice perk. Our server Bella was super kind, but she was both the waitress and the bartender, so service was slow and a bit scattered. Drinks were forgotten, and we had to flag her down or go up to the bar to get things. Not her fault, but it did take away from the experience -- especially since we were celebrating a birthday. Food came out looking great -- apps were well-portioned for sharing, though we wished sauces came with spoons. Overall, the food was good, nothing mind-blowing. The dinner menu is a bit limited, with a surprisingly large number of enchiladas. Wow. What an experience. I called with some questions prior to making the decision to come try this spot out. I had the absolute pleasure of speaking to Peter. Kind, courteous, professional but HUMAN and absolutely hysterical. He answered my questions but it was the energy that he brought to the conversation that reeled me in. At first glance, when you enter this establishment it's absolutely stunning. Way nicer than El Prez (previous restaurant), the energy really gives an elevated experience which is a nice change. We went upstairs to check out the rooftop and the view is incredible. The ambiance on the roof top is giving pool house vibes, every single staff member that I had the chance to talk to were all so nice and had great personalities. I really love that this place does service but they also give a hospitality experience which I think really adds to the overall atmosphere. For food, we tried the pear and burrata salad with arugula and toasted almond slivers. I liked the vinaigrette, it was citrusy and paired well with the burrata. I think they grilled the pear which added a nice touch. We also tried the birria dumplings which were so so good. The consume and the beef inside the dumplings perfectly resembled a birria taco. Cilantro and onion, all very good. We will be back to try the ahi nachos and the dinner menu, and I will 100% tell all of my friends about my experience today and I will never ever forget Peter. I ordered the Ahi Bowl and was served a room temperature bowl with no flavor (which is hard to do with a fish dish because how is that even possible?). The rice was undercooked, it honestly tasted like those minute bag rices you stick in the microwave. My cousin got the steak tacos with the truffle fries and her's was also lacking in flavor. We noticed that both meals weren't even remotely warm. The drinks were also overpriced for the basic flavor they had. We were super excited to have a cute water front dinner here but our whole night was ruined once we actually received our food. The servers were great and so friendly and the place was beautifully decorated. But even that doesn't make up for the horrible food and drinks served. This rating is for the service and vibes. Really attractive decor and aesthetic is on point. Looks like a really good time. Service by the waitresses was great. Downside was the food and drinks. Drinks are pre-made in batches, which I understand from a high volume perspective. However, preparing batches of pre-made cocktails also requires the staff mixing the cocktails together to follow the drink recipe to ensure consistency. Our first round of cocktails was much better than the second round of cocktails, which conveys either lack of training on the staff member who made the second round of drinks or lack of oversight by a bar manager checking on the quality of drinks before being sent out to guests. That being said, you're probably better off ordering no cocktails if you want to know exactly what you're getting into(beer,wine, bubbly). Pass on the cocktails. Let's talk about the food. I understand the chef was going for a creative interpretation of Latin and Asian flavors. Sometimes this is successful and sometimes it's a massive miss. In this case, it was the latter. I was disappointed as I had high hopes based on the decor and vibes of this restaurant. I ordered the octopus and shrimp aguachiles expecting a spicy but fresh take on a traditional aguachiles. What I received was utter confusion and bewilderment. The octopus was indistinguishable and unidentifiable due to being chopped up in tiny pieces. Shrimp was also quartered instead of whole. Where was the cilantro? Lime? Serrano peppers? Where was the delicious cocktail of juices for the shrimp and onion to marinate in so you can dip your chips in it?????? The best thing we ate was the birria dumplings. Absolutely delicious and the one shining star from this experience. Overall, hard pass. read more

I didn't realize this was previously El Prez and was under renovation for a year before they reopened in November '24. They validate 2 hrs of free parking at The Promenade (normally $12 an hr) which is an incredible perk considering how busy the weekends are in this area. For brunch, I ordered the poke nachos which were delicious! I also really enjoyed the Lavender 75 and Hugo Spritz and they definitely have the best daytime cocktail options! Our server was wonderful and checked up on us often. Beverly Beach Garden is a wonderful brunch spot if you're looking for rooftop ocean views and great food and cocktails! I have only been here past 10pm during the nighttime scene and I am absolutely obsessed with the way they decorated the restaurant/bar. From the outside, the bar looks trendy and it's located in a prime location if you're deciding to bar hop a little on a Friday or Saturday night. They have lots of seating in the main room at the bar and also in the booths. This is great for a more chill and relaxed vibe where you can talk and catch up with friends. When you've gotten your drink and want to dance and explore, there is a downstairs with another bar and a DJ playing music. The vibe of the downstairs club changes depending on the night but they were playing techno/EDM when I was there last week. The line to get in isn't long at all and we were able to get in really fast. Their drinks are expensive but reasonable to being in PB. I definitely want to try this place during the day for Sunday Brunch or dinner before going out. They have a balcony with seating as well, but that's only available during their restaurant times. Overall, the place is decorated very nicely and gives a rich modern feel. I came here for two birthday parties a week apart from one another. Both on sundays, both similar crowds. The first weekend we had amazing service and everyone left feeling awesome. The second, our service was borderline nonexistent. Our server seemed really overwhelmed and the bar was taking nearly 40min to get our drinks made. Some of our food never came out.
