    Iced vanilla rooibos
    Brittanie R.

This lounge has such a warm and cozy vibe! The lighting is nice especially in the evenings. The customer service is always good. The first time I came here I got an Iced Vanilla Rooibos with oat milk and sweetener. OMG, it was soo good! I came back a couple weeks later and they didn't have the vanilla rooibos anymore. So I got a lavender tea latte. It was good, but the vanilla rooibos was my fave! There is street parking. It's free usually after 6 p.m. The lounge is located in the very cool Sunstereo Warehouse right on Fulton.

    In house matcha ceremony

My best friend wanted to hangout for my late bday celebration and she had asked me to choose a place. We both love matcha and I've been wanting to visit and learn how to make matcha so I thought this place would be a great little girls date. I made reservations on their website. We arrived Saturday probably 5mins before our noon reservations. Lucky found parking right in front of the Sun Stereo Warehouse. There was no one there at the time we arrived but people started to trickle in a few mins after we got seated. We didn't know what to expect and how to order until we realized we ordered so much TEA!!! lol so we did The Isla Experience to share comes with 3 tea samples, 1 solo pot, 1 savory and 1 sweet nibble. Tea: Jasmine, Earl Grey and oolong were our choices. The jasmine smelled beautiful, the oolong was good and but the Earl Grey was our favorite! They served it with a side of honey and sugar cubes. The food was amazing. My friend and I shared the pesto turkey cheddar crossiant comes with a salad and it was delicious!! Perfectly toasted and the pesto was good portion was definitely large enough to share. The salad was fresh and the dressing was phenomenal. For the sweet we chose Tao's cheese cake per recommendation and it was delicious. Didn't realized the In house matcha ceremony was a separate thing so we also ordered 2 of that, hence we had so much tea!!! lol The lady who assisted us with the In house matcha ceremony was kinda and we definitely went through it quickly lol she didn't rush us but it was definitely a quick experience. Pouring all the ingredients together and mixing it and BAM DONE! lol we opted into oat milk as well. Wish there was more matcha flavor, felt the was just too much oat milk but it was a good drink regardless. Overall it was such a fun experience, we had a great time and the food and tea were amazing!!!! We had so much tea I felt over caffeinated I was shaking lol would definitely love to return!

I've been to Isla Tea Lounge a few times now, and it's definitely a vibe. The space itself is well-decorated, the lighting is ambient, and it's definitely a community and work space. As for the service, I've done the matcha ceremony before and spoken with the owners, and everyone is super sweet. They were very helpful with the ceremony and made good recommendations for food. I really appreciate spaces like these, especially since they care a lot about their craft. Definitely recommend for post-dinner drinks or a study sesh.

My experience to find the place was not the best. I saw it on my IG feed so I wanted to try out their matcha. I'm not familiar with downtown so it took me a few trips around the block until I finally pulled over and looked in help. GPS stopped me on Inyo, but it's off of Fulton. Isla Tea Lounge is inside the building Sun Stereo Warehouse. You will not see a sign on the outside other than on the glass which lists what businesses are inside. I finally pulled over and someone else's review mentioned Sun Stereo. My rating is based solely on my drink. I ordered the caramel toffee matcha and it was delicious. $13 is pricey for a drink. ($12 plus $1 tax. Paid $14.80 with 15% tip. ) On a side note, someone was having a salad when I went to order and it looked good! Would definitely go back to try their food.

Welcome to an experience with tea. Come in, place your order, be artsy or play board games. All this awaits you upon entry.

You're transporting to a delightful atmosphere and experience upon entry. Greeted immediately and served promptly. Everything I sampled today pleased all five senses. I am happy Isla is open late. Definitely a spot for the community, check this month's schedule. Follow on instagram for current events.

Came here for karaoke night with friends. The vibes were so immaculate. Very chill laid back also had a spot to charge my phone on the wall. Super awesome staff as well so nice and welcoming. They have the tea leaves for display to smell. I loved my chai it wasn't too spicy either very sweet.

I've been a few times to this great space, but the last 2 times I've attended their r&b night in which they have a dj and are open later at night. The event is about 3 hours with chill r&b mixes and you can order from their menu and their late night menu. I've also done the ceremonial matcha and it's fun! The matcha is good too. My favorite is the strawberry matcha. The coconut matcha is good, more refreshing. Their yuzu cheesecake is 10/10!! Gyozas are yummy too with some greens underneath. The space is welcoming, calm perfect for a chill hangout/date. This 2nd time for dj night, the music was louder than last time. Just be aware the ambiance is more poppin/louder than a regular time there. The owners are awesome. Great hospitality! They created something great for Fresno and the Central Valley.

Wonderful place to sit and relax and enjoy some quality tea. This woman owned business has set a standard here in Fresno that's giving warm and inviting place to hang out and enjoy the cool vibes. I haven't seen another place like this in town and I'm happy it's here to stay. We got to experience matcha making tonight with the yelp elite and got to try different flavors, my favorite was strawberries and cream and the coconut matcha. There's plenty of space to sit and talk maybe even grab a bite to eat. They have local entertainment at night time so make sure you follow their social media to keep an eye on what's going on. The 2 woman who own and operate the business are super nice and sweet and know a lot of the matcha making process and the culture. I highly recommend stopping by.

Definitely one of Fresno's hidden gems for tea enthusiasts. My first time here was for one of their tea & yoga events. It was a well structured event which they offered a hot lavender cream welcome tea, iced vanilla matcha, & a lavender bouquet after yoga. The atmosphere is cozy with welcoming & enthusiastic owners. They host multiple different events weekly which creates a unique space for Fresno's community to join in. I'm also really stoked about their late hours for night owls like myself who crave a matcha or warm tea late at night when nothing is open. Hours: Closed Monday, Tuesday 11am-10pm, Wednesday-Saturday 11am-Midnight, Sunday 11am-10pm. A place that was definitely needed in the Fresno community. We will be coming back to try more of their menu & future events!

I want to thank my friend Suevia for getting the gals together from high school to Isla Tea. I've been meaning to check this place out and was excited to come. What an inviting space for some tea. Located downtown in the Sunrise Stereo, there is street parking. I was greeted by one of the owner who was super friendly and broke down the menu for me since it was my first time. The order: I ordered the Tea Flight, you pick 3 tea flavors. I got the gemaicha , chai, and China black. Wonderful rich flavors from the tea leaves. I can tell they are pretty good quality tea. The aromatics from each tea were so fragrant and nice. Each with its very distinctive tea. They order comes with sugar cubes and honey as sweeteners. You add to your liking on the side. It comes with creamer as well. The display was beautiful. Each with its own teapot that's so dainty and beautiful. You also get one free refill for each tea. I was thoroughly satisfied with my experience. Restroom is located in the same building. This tea lounge is cozy, comfortable, and inviting. I saw someone studying and doing homework. Another group playing board game. So this space is great for all. Definitely recommend coming here and will be returning in the future.

Definitely check out this spot if you want a nice and slow atmosphere to catch up with friends or to taste test different kinds of tea! The service was great because the worker there was very informative with the variation of teas.

Inside was very minimalistic but very yea house coded. The service was great. The girl explained all the teas for us and how they would taste. I would pass on the charcuterie board, it was quite plain and basic. Order the butternut beignets! They are soooooo goood and it pared well with some teas! Overall we really enjoyed this experience and will be back!

The event was from 9pm to 2am. Dress code was supposedly strictly enforced but I guess not for everyone. When we got seated it was really cold. We were on time and doors opened at 9 but we probably didn't get in until 45 minutes after. Our group was maybe 6th from the door. So we got in and the vibe was cool. Our waitress was TRASH. It's like she didn't know what was happening that night. We seen her serving other tables but she didn't get to us till about almost 10:45. A hour later after we were seated and at that it was because we flagged her down. Since we got a vip table it included an option of Cajun fish or Cajun fried chicken. Served with sides sweet potatoes, mac and cheese, corn bread and smoke greens and a bottle of wine. As I said our waitress didn't get to us until 10:45 and only got to us because we flagged her down. Once she came we asked where was our bottle of wine because we seen everyone else was getting served. And she was confused like she didn't know we were supposed to get a bottle of wine. So she leaves and comes back another 15 minutes later with the wine. When she brought back the wine we then noticed other tables were getting food already and we were just getting wine. We then asked for water as well and that took another 10 minutes. But when she brought the water back, it was in little plastic cups but everyone else had water in wine glasses. Our waitress then disappears for maybe another 20 minutes and we had to flag her down. So we then told her we want to order our food. She was not familiar AT ALL with what was included with the VIP table. Then she said all they had was chicken. When we asked about sides she again was unfamiliar with the sides that was advertised on the flyer. So she said let me check smh. She was then gone for another 10-15 minutes and just brought back the chicken plates and NONE of the sides that were included. So we then asked about the sides and she said there were no sides included and we said it was advertised that the dinner included sides. Just the plates of BAKED chicken...not the fried chicken that was advertised. We didn't get our food till almost 1130 and it was a small half chicken. From 1120 to almost 12 they were honoring 20 top influential women in Fresno. So after being in the line at 9pm on the dot, not getting in until 945 and not eating till 1130 Kiana ledè didn't come out till 12 midnight. She sings a song and a half and then started taking pictures. We had a better time listening to the dj play music than we did with the lack luster performance. After her 1 and a half songs we decided to just leave. So long story short this even was EXTREMELY unorganized, service was terrible, food that was advertised was not provided and 3 hours after the event started was when Kiana ledè came out just to perform 1 and a half songs. I will NEVER go there again. Adrien and mysti Harris...the owners NEED to do better.

When we asked to speak with the owner directly, we were given an Instagram page and told he's very responsive. He replied to the first message, then never responded again -- especially after we asked for a refund, which I thought was more than fair given the situation. We were actually planning to host a party at this venue in September, but after how this was handled, we will never return. The unprofessionalism from both the owner and that bottle girl was disappointing, and honestly, after reading other reviews, it all makes sense now. It's really giving the owner is sleeping with the bottle girl, because any professional establishment would've taken her off the floor if she "had a problem" with a guest -- especially a one-sided one. Shoutout to security guard Andre for being the only person who handled things respectfully and professionally. Thank you, Andre.
