When you are ever in the area, and love pizza, salads, wing, or sandwiches; this is the place to go, hands down! Because the owners work at the restaurant, the food is very consistent! They have a daily special on a sandwich at a very reasonable price, it comes with a bag of chips and a drink. Every visit to my family who live nearby this place warrants a meal or two from Tower of Pizza. And I'm here to tell you that O.M.G it is SUPER DUPER YUMMEEEE!!!! I had the pizza and WOWZA! I wish I had the words to accurately articulate the tastefulness of their pizza. But for me, there aren't any. You just have to go check it out for yourself. If I were the pizza monster, I would have gobbled it all up one sitting. Their wings? UH PLUMP & YUMMEEE! NGL, when I saw the size of their wings, I was like "what are they feeding these chickens!?" The wings are very tasty, and my apologies to the chicken community, but I will shamefully admit the wings were very plump and juicy. Their sandwiches?! Man, you're killing me!!!!! I had the pizza first on one day, ok A+, then wings on another I was completely, undeniably impressed, yeah another A+, AND then I had their sandwiches and boy was I "mad" bc they were just as good!!!!!! I ordered the "Meat" pizza and they are not greedy with the toppings. It was packed with, well, meat, but the crust, it was pretty bland. It didn't have a taste. To me, that's what makes the pizza. I would put Tower of Pizza in my top ten favorite pizza places in the area. We ordered a pepperoni pizza, a pepperoni and jalapeño pizza. They were both delicious. so, I have lived in Texas for about 20 years, but I grew up in the Northeast. I've had a lot of pizza, wings, and cheesesteaks from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York City, and Maryland, so my tastes are based on the flavors from that area. These places are in my top ten for pizza in the South Texas / Corpus Christi area. In July, I am going to do a head-to-head taste test of each pizza to see which I think is the best out of the top ten list. Ordered a pepperoni pizza (have to try a classic) and the Tower of Pizza (supreme). Both pizzas were delicious!! The crust is very thin and crispy. The dough is definitely airy and fluffy. The toppings are not of the highest of quality (cheese, sauce, olives), but they are very fresh (bell peppers, onions, mushrooms) and not overcooked. It all comes together to make one delicious pizza. I will come back to this place for sure. It's two hours away from my town, but I often pass by. Edit: I just reheated my leftover pizza in the oven. Don't let the looks of this place fool you, the pizza here is some of the best I've had anywhere. Let's start with the crust. I would say that it is akin to New York style crust. Light and airy inside, crisp on the bottom and edges. It is perfect!!! I don't think a more perfect crust has ever been made!!! I absolutely love the white pizza. I have to agree with all the other reviewers here. Tower of Pizza is a hidden TREASURE in Calallen! From the prompt, friendly service to the AWESOME food, I can't fault them for ANYthing. When we lived in San Patricio, a few years ago, we passed by Tower of Pizza EVERY night on our way home. We could call them, while on the highway, and our order would be ready and waiting by the time we go to their door. Their Strombolis and Calzones are THE BEST!! I would LOVE to have the recipe for their dough because it's textured just right and the flavor is DYNOMITE! They fill them with what ever you want and then put some Marinara sauce for dipping. WOW! EXCELLENT! Just really good food! If you're anywhere in the area and you haven't tried this place, SHAME ON YOU! You don't know what you're missing! Omg. No joke the most amazing pizza I think I have ever had. Me and my fiancé just moved to the calallen area and we had driven by this place and thought ooooh that sounds good. I called to place an order for pickup but to my surprise, they thankfully delivered! The lady who took my order over the phone was so so very sweet and had just amazing customer service. Happy satisfied customer. Finally found a delicious pizza joint in Corpus. Been searching for a pizza that checks all the boxes. Plus their customer service and cleanliness was amazing. Definitely can be pricey depending on your order but can also be very affordable. All their pizzas are delicious but the Gourmet Pizza with pepperoni is AMAZING! The salads, pastas, and hot subs are a nice bonus if you're not feeling like eating pizza. They don't have garlic Parmesan wings on their menu but if you request it they will make them. And other things not listed on their menu are their pizza/meatball bowls, which is great if you're on a keto diet, etc. The food normally takes about 15-20 minutes if they're not too busy, but on their busiest days the wait time for your order can be anywhere from 25-40 minutes. read more

1st time here by way of a friends recommendation and I was very pleased with the pizza (Tower Deluxe, Jalapeños added) I could smell the fresh ingredients and the taste was really great. Way better than chain stores 5 of 10 scale pizza. This pizza was a good 9. But, include the customer service, cleanliness and of course the price and it makes it a solid 10. I live in the Northwest area of Corpus Christi and I am only ever happy about it when I visit Tower of Pizza. It's a locally owned small business that sells "new york style pizza" and it's great. I whole heartedly love it. On tuesdays they run a happy hour special - two large one topping pizzas for 12 dollars. Their crust is perfection. Delicious tasting, not too thin and crispy but not thick and overwhelming chewy either. They go easy on the sauce, which is delicious, and they have the best cheese. Their menu is simple and not very extensive. They have a gourmet or meditarian pizza with artichokes and the like, a hearty meat pizza, a vegitarian, a supreme, a white pizza, etc. In comparison to other pretty good pizza places in corpus, I'd say it's not nearly as fancy as Dentoni's but way more consistant on quality. Although, I have to admit I gave up on Denton's a few years ago. It's infinately fresher and lighter and tastier and cheaper than Pizza Hut. It can be most accurately compared to B&J's Pizza, but I greatly prefer Tower over B&J's. The combination of quality and simplicity along with a cheap price makes this place my favorite pizza in Corpus. They also serve subs and spaghetti and other pizza joint fare. I can say the subs are pretty delicious thanks to the homemade bread, but I would recommend the pizza over anything else. They deliver to the entire Northwest Area including Tuloso Midway and Calallen, but if you don't live in the area, I'd say keep this place in mind next time you have business in the five points area and make it a point to try it. My personal favorite is tomato and ham with oregano, with the gourmet pizza in a close second. Also they have the absolutely most delicious chocolate cheesecake in the entire world. It is so rich and creamy and chocolately. The only problem is that it sells out so quickly it's hardly available. They have a strawberry cheesecake that is more available, but I have not tried it as I do not want to taint the chocolate cheesecake in anyway. read more

We drive over there and they have a sign posted saying the place is for lease. We were like, "What? Are they out of business?" Stopped here for lunch on our way home from SPI. The food was delicious! We got the cheese ravioli for our 2 & 5 year olds and they loved it.
