I had called another place in town before I phoned these folks (family-owned!) and I am so glad I did. Not only was their service charge lower in price, (I felt like the other place was on a complete price gouge as it was also freezing cold outside...) the service was amazing. The communication on arrival time was accurate, the interaction was fun ( I learned something about the building I live in!) and most importantly for the reason I called...Car started! Joe's quick tow responded to a tenants call to have another tenants car towed from a unmarked parking spot, which is not authorized. More so, per Iowa law, you cannot take vehicles from private property without property owner consent. Joe's made no contact with me before having the vehicle towed. After contacting them and being hung up on, I brought my lease agreement into their office, where they still refused to return funds for the illegal, unauthorized tow. Would like to see more competent business practices, as one of the last morally fair Jonhson County landlords.

So when Dan's Doors came out to look at my opener they said they could not find a bill to put it in for me. So I went and looked and it turned out it was ACS Doors that put the opener in. So Dan's Doors charged me $116 to drive out to my house and do nothing. We do not know if the opener works or not, but we know he did nothing to fix the opener. I wouldn't use Dan's Door again.

The technician was friendly, efficient, and got my car unlocked in no time. What I really appreciated was the price -- only $50, which is very reasonable for such fast and reliable service. Bassem did an amazing service for us! We had been stuck with a flat tire for several hours on a snowy day, and no other company was willing to come help us.
